1 | Once saved, are you saved forever, | 2 Cor 5:21 | Lisak3 | 227097
In short, No you are not once saved always saved. Read Romans 11. To my understanding, the Jews were cut off because of rejecting Jesus as the Messiah. We,the Gentiles, were offered salvation. Paul says that if they accept Jesus, they will be grafted back in. If we say " we believe" but our life doesn't match up, then we can be cut off too. But when we return to God, we will be grafted back in again. Saying "we believe" don't get it with God. We have to REPENT. Which means we truely have to be sorry for the things we do and STOP doing them. PEROID. Then and only then is when true salvation occurs. If you say "you believe" your life must reflect it or you are really deceiving yourself and will be very surprised when Jesus says to you "I don't know you. depart from me you who work iniquity". I hope this helps.
