1281 | Divorced Do Christians Get Remarried? | 1 Cor 6:9 | stjohn | 205430
Dear Lionheart: Thanks for the affirmation, but I'm none to proud; it was not my finest or most glowing moment, as it was written in frustration. I have emailed Tam and apologized. And I'm glad to announce we are still good friends. :-) Thanks Brother.... God bless John |

Hi Azure.. you wrote, "People in my society say that "If you truly love me, you should accept what I do and who I am." I don't know if it is the same as in your society."-- Yes, it is, and worse! In Canada for-instance, they have actually passed a law that you cannot preach this part of the Gospel, because it hurts their Homosexual feelings. They call it (Hate Speech) to give out the truth! And there are legislators in USA that are trying to pass law that will make it illegal in this country too. Very sad..... Good post, by the way, I especially like your fruit of the Spirit, "Self-control." :-) God bless John |

Greetings, Q: I Must ask, would you for comfort sake, keep truth under the lamp of light? And allow mans law, to, mussel you, for no less, than what many a martyred saint has stood? Truth is truth! No? Not for the sake of disagreement, but for clarity. God bless John |

ok, Bonnie: We don't want to give you reasion to worrie. I can assure you my dear friend, that it was not a stafff member that harast you. But none the less my friend, I'm so sorry for your truble. I have come to find over time, here at SBF, there are a few regular memembers that you can really rely on, but there are some if not many that are questable at best. Notwithstandanding, this is a place you can come to study the Bible with some confidence. I can asure you my friend you have never even come close to offening me, or, I'm sure, most of the regulars here. If indeed, you have recieved emails, I am truly sorry you have experenced shuch a shamefull display of so-called, Christian intercorse. Agaian, I am trully sorry for you discomfort and shock. Frankley, I am just as shocked and dismaide as you are. May God bless and keep you my dear friend. Shalom and God bless John |

Thank you, Bonnie: I can tell you have been given a forgiving heart; And I am grateful to our King! Bonnie, I'm not sure what you are asking, but I hope and pray that this can help you. --"Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, or addicted to much wine or fond of sordid gain,"--1 Tim 3:8 And, Bonnie, I've spent more then a few night's crying my eyes out as well, so don't feel alone ok? Stand in His grace, my dear friend; Your brother in Christ, John |

Maybe this will help? "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; NOT GIVEN TO WINE, (my enfises) no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;" 1Ti 3:2-3 KJV "An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, NOT ADICTED TO WINE, (my enfisis) or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money." 1 Tim 3:2-3 NASB God bless John |

Son, your excuse is incredible, since you would have to know the alleged other users password to "log on" or do any box checking in the first place; it would be quite if not completely impossible. Maybe you'd like to try again? John |

Dear Adam's son: Please forgive my presumptuousness, as it is quite alarming to see that a fellow Christian may be being intentionally deceptive. I am still wondering why it took some amount of prompting from forum members to get you to respond though you kept on posting as though nothing had happened; I find this quite puzzling. I did some checking and in other browsers then the one I use, some do allow for auto-fill to work without having to type in a letter to start the program and fill in the box, so it does hold some water, though I still have a little trouble seeing how someone could mistake their own name for one so long and odd as wtitteninthebook; I would think that that would be quite too obvious to miss. I will give you the benefit of the doubt however and, welcome you to the forum and, I look forward to seeing something in your user profile; since you mentioned that you read mine, I sure would like to read yours. By the way, your friend writteninthebook, (aka anonymous) is strangely silent on this matter of dual registration; Perhaps you could ask him/her, (since you share a computer) to chime in with a little useful info of their own, in order to shed some more light on this disturbing issue? God bless John |

Adam's son: If I have sinned I have sinned against our God. What has my repentance to do with my having trouble with this matter? That is an entirely different subject altogether. And I'm still wondering about some of the questions you have left unanswered. I would like very much to put this behind us but the evasiveness herein is troubling me. John |

1292 | Sanctification by a spouse? | 1 Cor 7:14 | stjohn | 208526
Hi D.W. The Jew's used the word we translate as sanctification interchangeably for espousal or to marry. Not meaning internal sanctification. You are correct, only God can do that. See http://www.freegrace.net/gill/ and scroll to I cor 7:14 for more detailed explanation. I hope this helped. God bless John |

Pray for them, Mike, remembering the reason you have the wisdom you have is you have received it from above. Please don't forget to pray for them. I believe you have shown the proper spirit in this trial. Humble, not arrogant in what has be given to you in regard to wisdom, trusting in the word of God, and showing grace. Dear fellowlaborer, Welcome to the forum! Are you sure you meant to say you will 'enjoin' prayer? I'm sorry for stepping in here, but I'm a bit confused by your statement. Enjoin; means to forbid or prohibit. Is that what you mean? |

1299 | Should Women Wear Hats? | 1 Cor 11:4 | stjohn | 203950
Hi Tamara: WOW! I hope you are not offended by this, but really, my dear Sister, I can hardly believe you are making such a big issue, and taking so much time and space on the forum, of the question of wearing or not wearing a hat! If you think you should wear a hat, wear hat, and God bless you. I know there are many wonderful ladies that are lovely children of God, hatted or not, but I would suppose according to that which you espouse, all you Christian women, when the rapture comes, y'all better grab for your hats! :-) God bless John P.S. sorry for no scriptural references, so here is one to ponder. 1 Cor 6:12 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. |

Amen Brother! Very well said, Doc. (Jer 17:9) our own hearts are indeed our worst enemies! Never mind the devil beguiling us, we do a pretty good job on our own. God bless John |
