562 | Resurrection Day, not easter! | Exodus | justme | 215230
humility: I respectfully disagree with you. Christians worship on the Lords Day which is Sunday, but there is nothing saying worship can not be on Saturday or any other day. Sunday is a reminder Jesus was raised on Sunday. If the Resurrection Day is not a Holy Day then there is no Holy day. Is there any day being Holy to you? justme |

nickmostly, Welcome to the study Bible Forum! Your information is interesting. However at www.gotquestions.org.easter-origins.html has a reasearched history that might be worth your reading. I believe your resource is somewhat incorrect. Please read it and then tell me what you think. Blessings. justme |

564 | Resurrection Day, not easter! | Exodus | justme | 215271
nickmostly: I believe ther is a right to this debate. What on this green earth does the word easter, no matter what language is used, have to do with Jesus and His resurrection? The word easter has nothing connecting it to the Resurrection. Is Jesus uplifted , no I do not beleive it is in any way. This is just one more way the evil one has to take glory from the Lord Jesus. That is what I feel very strongly. I don't want to give an inch and I do not want to disrespect you either. Blessings. justme |

nickmostly: Thank you for a nice Christian attitude. Yes Nick, I did read both notes. I think we often read the same materials and come to different conclusions. What's more important is how we show that we are Christians by the way we can disagree, but not be disagreeable. I hope that shows in me, I do see it in you. Blessings. justme |

Emmais: Please consider me to be an advocate for you. I KNOW you are a brother in the Lord Jesus. T\After less than 4 months on the Forum this "compudex" has become a judge of what and who is part of the Universal Church? I don't think so! We may not agree on some issues but I will stand by your side defending your actions and words to be Christian, respectful, kind, and uplifting. We have disagreed but this takes disagreement to the level of close to being hatered. Blessings my brother! justme |

compudex: If I am to tell you are a Christian by the way you love others, please tell mey who put you in the position to judge? The brother you attacked has been here almost from the begining of the forum. A little less than 4 months and you have come to such a harsh conclusion on Emmaus? I have not always agreed with Emmaus but never in a non respectful, or unkind, or with the intent to put him dowm. I think you need to reconsider what the Church Universal really is. I think it contains more than you and others with the same mindset as you, perhaps? Any kind thoughts? justme |

Hank: I saw the remark by the young lady and do did Mrs. Justme. We felt that she deserved no further responses. There comes a time when ehough is enough. Although I may not agre with someone I can show respect, kindness, and something sadly lacking Christian Love. The Universal Church is Christ's Bride. That alone is a very high priveledge. Thank you for your openess and concern for the Forum and all us who take your assistance for granted. God bless you, Elder in the Lord Jesus. justme |

Tuggy: I think you have read too many Left Behind Books. Or perahps you might get in contact with Tim Lehey and see if you could be a co-author. I know you wrote this in Sept. and this is Nov. but I felt you might enjoy some good laughs. Blessings. justme |

anhill05: Your questions are ludicrous, and appear to be argumentative in tone. I do not particapate in battle dialogues. If you so desire to worship on Friday sundown to Saturday at sundown so be it. May I say in the Spirit of Romans 14. That I accept you. In verse 4 it is abundantly clear, to your master you will stand or fall. I understand Grace much differently than you. This subject has been gone over recently and feel free do to a subject SEARCH in the upper right of your screen. I am sure no matter what I would say, I could not influence you reconsider your belief. The same is true for you, to change my thinking. I wish you peace. agape, justme. |

Saint Luke: This is Saint Justme. Perhaps this might be the time to look at 1John 1:9-10. For me this means that the expectation of my confessing my sins to Jesus and the results is forgivness as well as cleansing. How do you read this passage? Peace on Earth. Saint Justme |

575 | Can one who commits suicide be saved? | Ex 20:13 | justme | 105786
Wheels: Welcome to the Bible Study Forum. The questions people have about sucide are not easly answered without some real deep emotions being brought to the surface. I was a pastor in a place where there was a suicide cluster of highschool students who made a suicide pact. Several killed themselves. I have also know a few adults that also felt such deep emotional, psychological, physical, and yes spiritual pain as well. I doubt anyone would not consider suicide a sin. We know that there is only one sin that can not be forgiven, and that is rejection the Holy Spirits pleading for us to make Jesus Christ our Lord. Thus if a person who has accepted Jesus Christ sins by ending their life, that does not forfit their salvation. I can testify to the depression one young man had that was like a constant burden that he was not able to cope with and ended his life. The huge sadness is no one was able to reach inside his heart and head to help him find purpose and meaning or hope. I find the world today is filled with hopeless people burdened by sin and willing to risk, not knowing Jesus, the torment of hell. With this in mind can not Christians become so depressed that too fall prey to temptation to end their extstance for the hope of relief? I am not giving any approval of suicide in any shape or form! I am saying I have compassion on those who fall into such depression that are not thinking as being loved by God or anyone else. Few of us there are who have not at least thought about ending our lives. I am no exception. After getting my note how are you feeling and thinking now? Blessings Wheels. justme |

576 | Can one who commits suicide be saved? | Ex 20:13 | justme | 186684
Heir: Perhaps, others won't come forth with a response to that they have not been to a point of suicide, but I will. I have lived with serious illness for many years. Our four children (all grown now) with a father that was limited in my involvement with their activites. At one point our last daughter while a Sr. in high school, a teacher thought I was her grandfather. My family has seen me in the hospital many times, and wondered if I would die or not. There was a time when I was so depressed and things felt really bleak. But when we rely on feelings can fall into the pit of depression. Christians are not exempt from depression, and there are many causes for depression such as medicines, and blood chemistry. Romans 8 goes into all the things thak can not stop the Love of God from us. Yes there was a time I became that depressed that I was very close to taking myself home. In a lighter note, I wonder if we Christians really knew what being with Jesus was like, would we spend so much effort to keep ourselves alive? I challenge anyone to read Psalm 139 and then feel so depressed or helpless, or hopeless. Often are the times I have read this chapter so many times. I do wonder why the subject of suicide if so important to you? Have you had someone close tou end their life, and perhaps that has effected you as well? Often what we bring to the surface is what we have burrued deep inside. I would like to hear more about this from you. Blessings Heir. Justme |

577 | how does the bible define adultery? | Ex 20:14 | justme | 174376
Doc: Would not inapproiate touching by one who is married to someone else fall into this as well? Would a man who was addicted to porno be tha same. I say this as Jesus said to think is adultery, I know that all these issues come from a thought. Justme |

579 | Please answer the question. Thanks! | Ex 21:10 | justme | 102325
Hank: Everytime this questionpops up I shake my head. I have come to the conclusing that's it's time to call this kind of question what it is. sexual fantasy, and attempting to find justification for dwelling on such unpure thoughts. What then is adultery, if polygamy could be some how justified, like some Mormans do today? No man who is in his right mind would subject himself or another women (if he could find some woman to go with him on such a stupid idea) to such heartache and distruction. This would be a living hell for eeveryone concerned! I have seeen such sinful messes like this when we lived in Phoenix AZ. Almost always incest is involved and that just scratches the surface. I hope I did not over step my bounds, I just felt you might want to hear from someone who has seen this sin sick situation first hand. Blessings hank, glad you are here, I pray for your ministry here often. justme |

580 | Please answer the question. Thanks! | Ex 21:10 | justme | 102496
Hank:-) Then there would be a "honey do" list so long it would utterly be hopeless! King Solomon may have had head wisdom, but his heart was dumb as a Missouri mule in a corn field. Solomon just did not how to control his desire for physical things. I see no mention of Solomon ever making his life regenerated. I have often heard most feel it remained so distant from the Living God Almight, he may well have chose to choose hell. That is not very wise at all. But then any man who has more than one wife is foolish, big time. This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoyce in it. Praise the Lord. justme |
