Kalos: Your response is one of the best answers to this question I have seen written. Thank you it touches my heart deeply. I see you soon will have been on the Forum 3 years! Congradulations Pilgram, keep going! justme |

662 | Water, baptism and John 3:5/Titus 3:5 | John 3:5 | justme | 111222
Searcher56: Greetings brother! Good comment! I have noticed in the last couple of weeks a lot of words written with little thought of giving any Scriptual backing. I have made up my mide to ask for Scripture when reading a note or answer that does not have any. To me our words ore not valid unless we are using Scripture as our backing. Blessings. justme |

663 | Where the Scriptual proof? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111221
Norm: My point was and shall remain this is a Bible Study Forum. Unless we can give Scripture as proof for our many words and nice sayings, then we are just repeating things we have heard like parrot. When a parrot hears something enough times they will repeat it, over and over for life. Just saying something does not make it true. I have read enough of "Polly want a cracker" religious sayings that lack any real meat to it. Blessings. justme |

664 | Where the Scriptual proof? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111220
Rowdy: My point is to express nice words and repeated over herad saying is nonsense. Unless Scripture is present to back up our words it has little value. Last time I looked this is a Bible Study Forum, is it not? justme |

665 | Where the Scriptual proof? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111219
Now you got it! NOTHING we say is of much value unless backed by Scripture. justme |

666 | Isn't baptism needed for salvation? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111217
Rowdy: I am not sure if you were saying to me that I should not have said anything, or that ?? My point is if we use this forum we either abide by Lockmans way or we should have the respect to leave. Seems clear and fair to me. Any thoughts? justme |

667 | Acts 8, has real water baptism, why? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111202
CDBJ: Greetings brother. With a heavy heart I would like to interject something, please. I too feel it is hard to remain silent when the subjest of Baptism comes up. I have very strong Scriptual based proof on the subject. However Lockman has requested we not dialogue on this sbuject. I have abided with their request, and others as well. I don't doubt your sincere objective in dialoguing with this person. However, I feel this has side stepped Lockmans wishes and I feel this has pushed the limit as I understand Lockmans request. I mean no disrespect to you, I just wanted to let you know how I feel and let you consider how I think. Blessings. justme |

668 | Isn't baptism needed for salvation? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111201
Your name is too long: I am careful to abide by the request of Lockman that the subjest of salvation by or not by baptism be dialogued on. I have kept this request to become a matter of bitting my lip (in a mannor of speaking) not to interfere with this very slanted dialogue you brought up. I would ask you to abide by the same request that Lockman has requested. I assure that there are those who would steadfastly stand in opposition to your view, and those who would agree. I feel you have carried this to the point it is offensive to me, and I am for sure a nobody. Thank you for your consideration of my request. Blessings. justme |

669 | relations after divorce? | Matt 19:5 | justme | 110642
D Blesser: Geetings to you, enjoy the forum. Being new is somewhat confusing at first. You need to look at the date the note was posted. You responded to a question wrote on April 19, 2002. I doubt this person still is on the forum, and may well not have the same e-mail address. Aside from what I already said, your advice is streight from "Situation Ethics". I am not a legalistic believer, but I believe what Scripture says. Sex outside of of marriage is sin! These two are not married! There is a possibility that maybe they did not get married, what would you call their sexual relationship then? I call sex outside of marriage sin. so does Scripture. Now I wonder if you still feel the same way? Blessings. justme |

670 | What exactly is this Unforgivable Sin? | Matt 12:32 | justme | 109434
Searcher56: I respect your responses, and notes, I find you are a right to the point kind of person. May I offer a suggestionplease? I say this with kindness and respect fora Brother in the Lord. Perhaps saying this has been discussed before might be true, but not for that person. Often some subjects are repeated several times a year. As there are new people signing in evey day, and though you and or I have discussed the subject, it might give a growth oppertunity for others to dialogue on the subject. Perhaps holding off on saying this has been discussed before might encourage others to chance to add to the dialogue, and even put information in a better format. I say this with kindness and concern, not out of any way of putting anything you have said down. Blessings. justme |

671 | Why did Jesus Go to Hell | 1 Pet 3:19 | justme | 109429
EdB:-) Greetings brother. The wonderful good news is Abraham's Bosom is today empty! On Tuesday of this week Hank Hanegraaff's Bible Answer progran he spent a good amount of time on this subject. The Lutherns Creed sataes the word "hell" rather than paradise. You have received the "justme star of the day" award! Congradulations, well done. Blessings. justme |

672 | differences in bible translations? | NT general Archive 1 | justme | 109332
Clinzey: I hope you will answer your responses when you have time. I am wondering where you arrived at the 10 percent? In my Seminary studies and research, I failed to come to that conclusion in the amount errors. I rarely found anyone who did not agree that the older the manuscript was, the more likely that it was more reliable. I will say the group that is KJV only would not agree with my conclusion. I consider KJV only thinking rather ignorant. However I would not choose to disfellowship over their belief. Most certian we should not overlook the power of God to oversee the protection of His Word. Paul said the Word of God is a double edged sword. I believe the Word is active and alive bt the Holy Spirit. What are your thoughts? justme |

673 | Matthew talked about JC as a Jew - why? | NT general Archive 1 | justme | 109324
Mitelt: You have a vaild practical piont to ponder, if that was the true reasoning. My real issue came when "Clinzey" chimed in to say it was perfectly ok to use those initals rather than Jesus Christ. I found that unacceptable under all circunstances. Do you understand where I am coming from? Blessings. justme |

674 | Matthew talked about JC as a Jew - why? | NT general Archive 1 | justme | 109224
Clinzey: May I kindly say you have said correctly "I don't think". I rarely come bluntly to the point, but I found your bold, disrespectful, justification for "mastery" using J C for Jesus Christ RUDE! I waited a few days before responding to you, to think about what to say. Unless your attitude changes I doubt you will enjoy this forum very much. I normally welcome new people into the forum. In your case I reserve the welcome to see how you respond. Will you see how offensive you have been or try to justify your rudeness? How do you respond? justme |

675 | hell hath no fury of a women scorned | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108708
EdB:-( I believe the saying cane about a man who had been cheated on by his wife. Basicly it says that nothing can calm down a mans anger. However what hurts a husband often is felt by the wife 100 times more. Either way to be sensitive to each other and to put the other mate first is a better thing to keep in mind, then we do not have to keep the other in mind. Blessings EdB! justme |

676 | Why has the Bible not been added to? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108661

677 | Why has the Bible not been added to? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108660
EdB: This has a very fimular ring, and I think you may well be right about the idenity change. Perhaps it's a personality change? Most would say Mark was the one who took off naked. Jesus hinmself called Luke, this is some wild uneducated person who knows how to type and spell. At least I have som "learning", I may not spell at the top of my class but I know when I am right! Just ask me! Blessings Ed. justme |

678 | Why has the Bible not been added to? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108659
context: Please excuse me for barging in. Could you please give evidence for your statements. These statements are absurd, and I am sure you misread or do not believe the Scripture, which is it? Might I suggest you get a pen and paper and reread the 4 Gospels and You can put your thoughts in "context"! justme |

679 | Women Preachers? Yes or No? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108293
EdB: It is my belief that WOF represents the greatest threat to true Christianity, and new believers especially. I know there are genuine believers in Christ traped in the counterfeit WOF. Thank you for your note. Blessings. justme3 |

680 | Women Preachers? Yes or No? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108292
Hank: WOF is pure and simple an open hole for those walking with little or no light to fall into. I know it is fruitless to try to dialogue with a devoted WOFer, but perhaps it might get someone be cautious when they hear some of these false teachers names again. Blessings Hank! justme |
