643 | Premarital sex is a sin? | Heb 13:4 | justme | 112503
Kalor: We could add that our laws are based on married couples and families. We have family laws. The majority of our country beliefe marriage to be the basic foundation of social structure. There is a natural shame that takes place when couples just live together. Now if their hearts are so heardned to no longer feel shame than that is another story. Just thought I would add my pennies worth. Blessings. justme |

645 | Why don't we address God as Yahweh? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 112365
Rowdy: Thank you for suck a kind response. Often it is easier to say the Scriptures say thuss and so, than o actually dig and find the passage. I know because I am guilty of this often myself. Psalm 148:13 and 14 sum it up very well. That the entire universe is summoned to praise the LORD Almighty. We are sure that the LORD told Moses He was "I AM". Jesus refered to the LORD as "Holy Father". I am concerned when I hear it said "God is my friend or close buddy". That to me is way out of line any not in accord with Scripture. There suould be a deep desire to show not only respect but a Holy awareness that we are addressing the Higest of any thing we will ever have the privledge to address. I have always wanted to just see a President of the united States. I would consider that to be a real exciting moment. I would especially like to see President Jimmy Carter. I respect his office, but even more his Christian efforts after leaving the office. As a retired Navy person I can relate to your experience as a retired Military person. Which I say thank you for serving our country. Perhaps you can relate to me wanting to see a President/ If I would feel so privledged to see President Carter, how much more to address our Holy Father! That Rodwy is where I am coming from. Thank you for allowing me to dialogue with you on this very important issue. Blessings brother Rowdy. justme |

646 | Why don't we address God as Yahweh? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 112305
Kalos: Thank you for your kind response. We are in TOTAL agreement! I often address The LORD Almighty as Holy Father. I beleive there is more Scriptual evidence for this than just GOD. I am not being disrespectful when I say this by anymeans. I simply believe I want to be as clost to the "I am" as possible. I know few issues that are repeated 7,000 times in Scripture, The Jerusalem Bible uses Yahweh in the Old Testament, and I enjoy reading it on occasion, just for that reason. Blessings. justme |

647 | Why don't we address God as Yahweh? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 112292
Kalos:-) Very excellent answer!!! I applaud you wisdom and answer, I wish more Christians were alert to this myself. Blessings. justme |

648 | Why don't we address God as Yahweh? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 112291
Rowdy: Blessings friend. I am in question of "As long as we do so with proper reverance and respect, I'm certian He will treat us the same." Some how this does not sound right to me. I suppose I am thinking this is a pretty wide and inclusive statement. I can think of some names that are related to God but not a name I find Scriptual support for. I am a stickler for Scriptual backing as you might know. So...could you give me a Scripture to back your statement? I appreciate your patients with a old person as old as dirt. Blessings. justme |

649 | Can God die? | John 3:16 | justme | 112184
CDBJ: Your response is correct, however I was dealing with Norm who was saying that at some point Jesus became God I belive Norm was saying after His death on the cross. pehaps Norm will clarify this in his next note. But, CBDJ we are on the same thought pattern and page. Blessings. justme |

650 | Can God die? | John 3:16 | justme | 112172
Norm: Thank you for sharing your journey in the Lord. It's amazing how each of us has a personal way the Lord has worked in, and directed us each. I am still confused I have to tell ya. When did Jesus become equal with God? When did the Trinity become three in one? Thanks for your response. justme |

651 | Blood sacrifices during the Millenium? | Heb 10:12 | justme | 112154
thelema: You have been forthright in your profile with you beliefs, and that is quite unusual. I respect your right to bring to the forum a dialogue that offers us an oppertunity to more fully understand others beliefs. You seem to have a solid understanding of the old Testament rituals, and the sacrifical requirements. That too is unique for most that I have encountered. I too have a copy of the Torah, and took a couple of classes from Rabbi Zedick. I found the class very enlightening and quite interesting, it was instruction I find useful even to this day. I find many Christians fail to understand that paticularly the book Deuteronomy is still a valid book of Scripture that gives advice as how we are to conduct our relationships, and protect our health. God's Word is living and active forever. I look to hear from you. Blessings. justme |

652 | Is it wrong to have a passionate kiss? | 1 Thess 4:5 | justme | 112152
Terrib: After reading your profile I have to give you "ten points" for the good advice. There is several things about this couple we don't know. How old they are, are these two Christians, and if they are old enough to marry and have the where with all to marry are they planning a wedding soon? I find without more details we are correct in a general answer, but with more information specfic concerns can better be closer addressed. I like your use of Scripture to give with your advice. I also welcome you to the forum! God bless. justme |

Hank: I saw the remark by the young lady and do did Mrs. Justme. We felt that she deserved no further responses. There comes a time when ehough is enough. Although I may not agre with someone I can show respect, kindness, and something sadly lacking Christian Love. The Universal Church is Christ's Bride. That alone is a very high priveledge. Thank you for your openess and concern for the Forum and all us who take your assistance for granted. God bless you, Elder in the Lord Jesus. justme |

655 | ... | Ex 20:4 | justme | 111487
compudex: If I am to tell you are a Christian by the way you love others, please tell mey who put you in the position to judge? The brother you attacked has been here almost from the begining of the forum. A little less than 4 months and you have come to such a harsh conclusion on Emmaus? I have not always agreed with Emmaus but never in a non respectful, or unkind, or with the intent to put him dowm. I think you need to reconsider what the Church Universal really is. I think it contains more than you and others with the same mindset as you, perhaps? Any kind thoughts? justme |
||||||
656 | ... | Ex 20:4 | justme | 111486
Emmais: Please consider me to be an advocate for you. I KNOW you are a brother in the Lord Jesus. T\After less than 4 months on the Forum this "compudex" has become a judge of what and who is part of the Universal Church? I don't think so! We may not agree on some issues but I will stand by your side defending your actions and words to be Christian, respectful, kind, and uplifting. We have disagreed but this takes disagreement to the level of close to being hatered. Blessings my brother! justme |

657 | John 3:1-7 how can you say it's not true | 1 Cor 1:17 | justme | 111344
compudex:-) Matthew 7:6 is Jesus caution for us not to be so nieve, and be unwise. There is wisdom in knowing when enough is enough. Agree? justme |

658 | John 3:1-7 how can you say it's not true | 1 Cor 1:17 | justme | 111339
compudex: You offer simple advice, and on the surface you are right. If only there were a tollerance for one another. The problem is that there are some immature selfish people who insist they are right. Unless it's their way of understanding then you belief about baptism is wrong and you are not really saved. That dogmatic misunderstanding of Scripture is NOT in keeping with BASIC Christianity 101. There are some issues that there is no way to even suggest a different view of Scripture ie. Virgin birth of Jesus, His divinity, and His life ater death, just to name a few. When you ask us to just all get along, in some cases the people join the Forum just to stirr up the dung in their hearts. From the heart the mouth speaks. There is no reason to be rude, disrespectful, or belittling anyone. I personally attempt to abide by Lockmans wishes or I will leave respectfully. There is a young female who is pushing demominational bias that should be asked to leave. Perhaps soon the right people will notice. Blessings. justme |
