562 | How does God speak to us? | Acts 10:36 | justme | 133720
Hank:-)Your answer should be sent to the 700 Club and Benny Hinn! There is something they seem to have not understood, and perhaps they might if we sent a copy of your note to them. All joking aside, I enjoy the way you express theology and Biblical truth in a way that is so clear. You might consider writting a basic Theology Book, as your thoughts are easy to read and understand. Blessings my neighbor to the south. justme |

563 | Homosexuality, sin or not? | 1 Cor 6:9 | justme | 132719
james210: I question that you may have taken Jesus words and gone to far with the application. I believe Jesus was bringing to our attention to gaurd our thoughts as that's where sin begins. Surely to think about murdering someone is a sin, but to actually kill someone is even much worse. So I would say that Jesus was not saying thinking about lusting after a woman is not the saome level of sin as actually having a sexual relationship. This can be used by some to say if I am quilty if I even think of such a sin, I might as well induldge in it and enjoy the sin, if the two are the same. What are your thoughts? Blessings. justme |

New Creature: I think in saying either active or passive there is evidence for both. The Lord gives us the faith we need, and even if we make the choice to repent, it is God who has predistined us. This is a very complex subject that has been debated for many hundreds of years. I would appreciate you letting me know how your research project comes out. Blessings. justme |

565 | This is a genuine Miracle!!! | Psalm | justme | 127290
Phil: Thank you for rejoycing with me and my family. The LORD deserves so much more than I could ever praise Him, for the Love and mercy He has bestoed upon me. Phil, I don't know how I would scan The Cat Scan and post it on the forum. Cat Scans are very detailed and I think it would overload the hard drive on the forum. I will have the latest report somertime next week, there is a lot of personal information on the reports I personaly would not want put on the forum for public viewing. I would never proclaim such a healing if it were not so, I give you my word as a Christian, what I have said is the truth. I doubt that if the world has reject Jesus, that the world would believe me. For those who will believe there is plenty of evidence of Jesus Christ; for those who do not believe in Jesus Christ, there will never be enough evidence. Thank you Phil for your prayers and concern, Blessings. justme |

EdB: We are still rather stunned, and amazed that this happened to me. One often hears or reads of such healings, but frankly I have never seen one I thought was genuine, beyond any doubt. I think of the verse that the man told Jesus, "I do believe, help me with my unbelief". I can say I have too experienced the same thing. Only the LORD can be praised, and for such great Love and Mercy I am constantly amzed. Blessings Ed. justme |

Hank :-) Justme here, I wanted to tell you that my Cat Scan today came back with No clots whatsoever! The doctors and staff are saying this is a Mircale ! This is their words not mine! I put a post informing the forum and thanking the Lord for His goodness, and for the many who prayed for me. I am so blessed and undeserving of such blessings. thank you Hank for allowing me to post my prayer request and praise of what the Lord has done. 572 | should I avoid the appearance of evil? | Matt 18:6 | justme | 126610
Stults the Fool: After responding to you the first time, as I saw your note while on the forum, I found this in my e-mail. Well please look at what Hank had to say to Theo-Minor. I hope you are not like Theo-Minor, and you are aware of Romans 14:22. Paul says to be careful in what we approve. I believe you have made a serious error in coming to the aid of Theo-Minor, or at least you might reread his statements and pray about your position a little more carefully. Again I say that such garbage as was being stated as Christian was not! It came from a place worse than any septic tank. Be well. justme |

573 | should I avoid the appearance of evil? | Matt 18:6 | justme | 126602
Theo-Minor: If this were not so very serious I would think this were some kind of devils advocate game, in a seminary class. But what is so very sad is you may be wise in your eyes but you have majored in the minor's and minored in the major theology of the Scripture. You come accross as a very angry person, and determined not to learn a thing. O\Perhaps with some soul searching you might one day see that people here were kind and attempting to point out some very deep flaws in you understanding of Scripture. The fimal insult you made to Hank, one of the finest well studied Christians I have had a chance to know, was a big mistake that I am sure he has forgiven you already for. Be well. justme |

575 | should I avoid the appearance of evil? | Matt 18:6 | justme | 126596
Stultis the Fool: Well I thank you for the response. Might I suggest that you fill out the User Update info. so we can better understand to whom we are communicating with. Also please don't judge my septic tank remark as you have only been on the forum a very few days, and fail to see the humor in it. Your insisting of me retracting my remark seems redundant as this note will be available for others to see a long time afterward. My remarks are given with the intensity that the very unBiblical, not even close to a neo-orthodox view, that was deserving of a septic tank. As to marriage being just a coupling of a man and a woman by body parts, that too has a bad smell. As Scripture is very clear in Old Testamnet times as the to the marriage ceremony and the proof that the bride was a virgin. Marriage was very sacred, then and now. Ther first miracle Jesus did was at a wedding, that is significant in the fact the Church is His bride. To say one is married strictly by the act of physical intercourse is taking Scripture out of context. If your assumption is true than would you say that a man or woman who has been unfaithful several times has married these partners as well as their married spouse? What about the many persons in ministry who have fallen into sexual sin, are they married to these people as well? See how what you think about sex outside of marriage is not a marriage? Paul does not say sex makes a marriage, it unites them in a unholy union, or act of union, that because one is a Christian we have in reality united Christ with us. This ought to never be. However, let me remind us that sin is sin. All sin is forgiven in the same way, is it not? Adultery is sin, and the act of adultery does not make a marriage. If one takes Theo-Minor's and your understanding that having sex, makes one married, than what would you call rape? Surely you would not call rape a marriage would you? I am not known for insults, I believe most who have known me for a couple of years on the Forum will say I am very quick to resolve hurt feelings, and I try to be kind and respectful. But when Scripture is twisted as this false teaching on having sex being a marriage, I will step in with both feet and call it what it is, was, and where such bad theology belongs...the septic tank. I never insult the person, but the theology I will take to task. |

576 | should I avoid the appearance of evil? | Matt 18:6 | justme | 126445
Theo-Minor: Oh my! My wife and I read your response and we were stunned! What you have stated is rediculous if not HERESY! You wrote, "Sex outside of marriage with a boyfriend/girlfriend is not a sin, because there is no such thing as sex outside of marriage." And yet you also wrote "Their real marriage in truth occurs when the man "goes unto her", the act of conjugal joining IS the marriage, because the two have become one flesh." Your statements are outrageously flawed!!! Fornication, PRENEIA is illicit sexual intercourse. At least according to W. E. Vine in his book AN EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY OF NEW TESTAMENT WORDS. This would include sex between any boy and girl who are not married to each other. To suggest that sex between boyfriend and girlfriend is not a sin is not Biblical in any way shape or form. How do you come to such a conclusion? Read 1 Corinthians 6:12-20 and this states beyond any doubt and very specfically as to what is immoral. Am I to believe this Scripture doesn't apply to today? If marriage only IS a marriage when intercourse is possible then please tell me what do you tell some young married man who has lost his legs and manhood in a war, like the war we are in now? Is your incuation that they are no longer married? The answer to the couples question as to should they be baptised is most certainly and positively NO!! How can their hearts be right when they are living together? This is not living as HOLY people of God, and Scripture tells us we are to live HOLY LIVES! I say, oh yes it is OUR business how people conduct their lives, in their work, play, and what they do and with whom behind their bedroom doors. When some one comes to be baptized they are saying I have repented, and turned away from sin, and want to follow Jesus and His instructions. This is not saying perfection, but turning away from immorality is certianly one area that is expected. Remember that they are coming to the church to be presented as repenting believing Christians to be baptized. You are correct we are not to be a stumbling block for others. Marriage is not mans standard of tradition, but is the standard the Lord has made, it is not only sin in mans eyes, but is by Gods standard, Hebrews 13:4. You seem to contradict your self several times, one time you say sex with boyfriend and girlfriend is not a sin, and then say sexual intercourse is marriage. You say your truth is "Biblically sound" yet you anticipate reactions to your "radical nature of this post". The theology you advocate in not new or radical, it is as appalling as when Eve heard the mixture of truth and lies from satan tempting her. Finally the promise of freedom "If you can wrap your conscience around the truth of the idea, you will find a new and interesting sense of freedon from guilt and condemnation people would surely lay on you for your chosen lifestyle." Your advice is as slimey as a Missouri Catfish caught in a septic tank. Long time ago satan promised freedom that made Adam and Eve become as wise as God. Remember that freedom and how free they were, to sin? Theo-Minor, I think you need to "Major-ly" reconsider your theology and doctrine. I should sign this Theo-Major, but I am like always.... justme |

577 | Bible's view on suicide? | Matt 27:5 | justme | 125621

578 | Bible's view on suicide? | Matt 27:5 | justme | 125620
tmjt21: I will try to clear up any confussion that I communicated. Suicide is not a noble act, nor is it dentered into bu a rational thinking person. I doubt that any Christian who committs succide give much thought to going to heaven. Suicide is an act of desperation of a mentally ill person who has lost all hope, and see's no other options. I hasten to add in my opinion if the person is a Christian they are under demon oppression, and certianly are not controlled by the Holy Spirit. We would be hard pressed to really understand the emotional, and deep unrational pain that people who committ suicide have experienced. When someone can believe that taking their life is the best thing they can do, as they have no other options left open to them, we find this most difficult to imagine. I believe any sin is much more than making the Lord Almighty "a little more unhappy". If a personlived their life with only one sin, that one sin requires the same price to be paid for it, Jesus Christ shedding His blood, death on the cross, and ressurection from the grave. So no sin is little. All sin is dealt with the same way. We are now more able to understand that the brain is an organ, just as the heart, liver, lungs, and so forth. We have no problem with medication for all body organs. However we still fail to see that the brain can be sick as well. Cancer, low blood sugars just to mane a few things that cause serious malfunction of the brain. For the Christian who has experienced chronic depression, and I speak by experience, this is far more than being down and under, with a lot of emotional stress. When someone with such sever life threatening drepression reaches the point that suicide is yhe only way they can see to end the pain they are in, that's something most of can not fully understand. Please do not misunderstand me, I am in NO WAY justifing or rationalizing suicide. I believe from Scripture that nothing can remove us from the Lord Jesus saving and secure promise that we can not be snatched from His hand, and the Holy Spirit has His seal on us. How all this is possible is part of the secret things of the Lord. Duet. 29:29 I am trying to be careful not to put my approval on something that would encourage anyone to even give a split second thought to such a sin as suicide. Romans 14:22 The will to live can be so very strong it amazes doctors, as well the loss of the desire to live can stop the best medical help and medicine on earth, both are extremes can't be accounted for at times. Most of all no one can say for certian why some people can endure so much more than someone else. However each of us will give an accounting of what we have done while on this earth. Sme will escape satans clutches by smoke on their souls, while others will hear well done. Matthews Gospel tells of the sheep and goats.Whats odd is both groups answered when did we see you...? Perhaps if more of us carede enought to be alert to those at risk and show signs of suicide there would be no Christians yeilding to this very serious painfull sin. Every Christian is called to be faithful, and to endure to the end. Many have suffered beyond what seems humanly possible, and lived to go through even more suffering. In compairson those who committ suicide who seem to be outwardly suffering very little, and those in gutt wrenching pain we often can't understand why one goes on living and the other chooses death. The good news is that the Lord love them both, and it is in His hands, not mine. I hope this helps explain myself a little better. Do you have any thoughts? Blessings. justme |

579 | Bible's view on suicide? | Matt 27:5 | justme | 125540
tmjt21: After reading JCrichton's long note I felt I need to respond. Like I said there are two beliefs and JCrichton has presented one side quite well. However, may I give some additional imput. The ONLY sin that is unforgivable, that is rejecting the Holy Spirit's plea to make Jesus Christ Lord! Please think this over. Do Christians die with unconfessed sin? Yes, everyday! In auto accidents, in sudden death circumsatnces. Is there any way that that the Lord Jesus can remove you from His secure hand? NO, neither can you remove yourself if you are born again! The Bible does not say one thing and then say another. Either Jesus saves us from past, present, and future sins or none at all. Having delt with several families with love ones who ended their lives as believing Christians, I can tell you this is not an easy way out. As a pastor I have dealt with clusters of high school students that agreed to end their lives. These poor people are under sever mental stress that if they were thinking as healthy people they would not have ended their lives. Often there is a period of less tha 10 minuets that if they reach out for help, they most likely will not end their lives. Ending one's life is an act of sever anger, depression, and other causes, none theless ending one's life is SIN. All sin is forgiven just the same! By the Blood of the Lamb of God. If these people were to abe to think correctly and could realize the pain it leaves for others, and the pattern they leave for others to follow, perhaps it might have changed their choice. This is a very serious problem for teenagers as it was the number one killer of teens in the nineteen nineties according to Zondervan Book Of Life reasearch. I can not say if it still is number one now, I believe it still is. I encourage you to do what ever you have to get your friend some help ASAP, do not take no for an answer, call anyone you can to get help, this is not only a spiritual problem it is a moral and legal issue that can cause mightmares for a lifetime. I hope to hear how this turns out, please! justme |
