Thanks for that link, just adding a bit of info that I find interesting regarding the Hebrew names on that link. Note that Hebrew is read right to left, each name of G-d begins with that "X" looking letter. That is the letter "Aleph" or alef from which "alpha" bet comes, the letter A is from Aleph. aleph is a "silent" letter, and thre is a story about that letter being so humble, that when all letters wanted to be first, the humble aleph was silent and G-d put him first. Matthew 27:14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly. Of course in the ancient Negev writing the aleph symbol itself was an abreviation of G-d's name as EL especially when it is an Aleph with a Lamed symbol near it, the word or letter BET BETH mens House, so Beth Lahem is house of bread. Beth el, house of EL, ALPHA BET house of aleph or house of God, the WORD. Aleph is actually made of two separate symbols, constructed in 3 parts (representing the trinity)two yuds or yods and a vav or vov

Was it a "bad" thing when Saul's father's donkeys got out and were lost? If they hadn't, Saul would not have run into Samuel, and the events wouldn't have occurred leading to him being King. (God told Samuel to expect Saul, several days before Saul arrived)

Just as a further illustraton on this point. Was it a "bad" thing that Jesus was crucified? It was "evil," but good came forth from it. One might say, "but God didn't cause or create the crucifiction" I'd ask, to whom was the sacrifice made? not to man, all sacrifices and offerings are made TO God. However, Jesus was slain "before the foundation of the world. I'd ask, who else was there? Jesus IS God, and offered Himself. 1 Samuel 16:23 And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. 1 Samuel 19:9 And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand. The only "evil" God "creates" are events which set other events in motion to lead to a "good" outcome, though that outcome is never seen, until later. |

Still looking, but here is the concept I think you were looking for Isaiah 1:30 For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water. Isaiah 24:4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. Isaiah 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: 1 Peter 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: James 1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. |

7 | Outside the camp, there's a place clean? | OT general | SomeOtherName | 202181
I'd imagine most of "Outside the camp" was clean, unless it was the dump area, or an area defiled in some way. unclean place Leviticus 14:40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city: Leviticus 14:41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place: Leviticus 14:45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place. clean place (concerning ashes of the red cow added to water of separation/purification) Leviticus 4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt. Leviticus 6:11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place. Leviticus 10:14 And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel. Leviticus 13:23 But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean. Leviticus 13:28 And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning. Numbers 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin. ------------------- red cow parallels Jesus' crucifiction and burial, with the Numbers 19:6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. wood-cross, hyssop - John 19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. red stuff(wool)- Matthew 27:28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. Numbers 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin. The ashes, which were put in the clean place outside the camp, were nigh to the camp, so they could be retreived and mixed with the water or purification. His "remains" buried in a clean place outside the camp which is nigh. John 19:20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. John 19:42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. He was in a "clean" unused tomb. |

neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning. Numbers 9:12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it. John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. John 19:36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. Exodus 23:18 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning. Exodus 34:25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning. Leviticus 7:18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity. |

John 6:31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. ---- ..A sin in that firstfruits forbidden to be sold.. Ezekiel 48:14 And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD. Jesus was "sold" 30 pieces of silver ([a goodly price, since Joseph only got 20]) Genesis 37:28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. Zechariah 11:13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD. Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Matthew 27:5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. 6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. 7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. 8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. 9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; 10 And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me. Amos 2:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; |

Leaven can be good or bad. It can be a deception, in making a loaf appear larger. It can also be symolic of a relationship with lightness/airiness and Holy Spirit. Leavened bread 50 days after Pesach/Passover, on Pentecost, as wave offerings. Note the sound of the wind visited on Pentecost-Shavuot-the feast of weeks- at the end of the 7 weeks/50th day/counting of the omer(same day/feast as the giving of the law, when God visited with Moses)[this relates also to the One with the "fan" in His hand, separating the wheat from the chaff, by wind-winnowing fan] Note the wave sacrifices which required the cakes or bread to be leavened. Leviticus 7:13 Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings. Amos 4:5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. Leviticus 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. 20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest. 21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. |

oops, I believe I mis-stated that slightly. "Leavened bread 50 days after Pesach/Passover, on Pentecost, as wave offerings." is incorrect. I believe more accurately, it is : Leavened bread, as wave offerings/firstfruits, after which was counted 50 days from Pesach/Passover, "the Counting of the Omer," to Pentecost, |

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. |

Isn't the fact of the GATHERING more important than the supper? Deuteronomy 30:3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. Deuteronomy 30:4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: Matthew 16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? John 6:13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. the angels/disciples are sent to gather those who are LEFT. The flood took all the others away, Noah and the 8 were left. G-d loves leftovers (Study the words took and taken and left and remain and remnant.) When isreal was invaded, and all were forcefully caught up/carried into captivity, the poor were left to inherit the kingdom Luke 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Job 5:15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. Jeremiah 52:16 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen. Jeremiah 40:7 Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon; Jeremiah 39:10 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time. Luke 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: Luke 14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: Luke 14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. Luke 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Revelation 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; Deuteronomy 30:4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: Isaiah 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. Isaiah 43:5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; Jeremiah 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. Jeremiah 31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither. |

Sorry bible believer, I probably posted in the wrong place, I'm new to this forum, and unfamiliar with all of this format/ program, I formerly posted at theology forums consisting of only Messianic Jews after giving up on most "Christian" boards years ago due to their bickering. Mot of my family have been Pastors here for I don't know how many generations, but before America became independant. I guess my only point was that it is the gathering, rather than the marriage supper, that I look forward to most.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. a "natural desire" for money or sexual impurity is not "Love" God IS Love 1st commandment is put Him first 2nd is Love thy neighbor as thyself Jesus stated that. If you do those two, you have fulfilled ALL 613. God IS Love, and shouldn't be equated to a desire for a thing or action. nothing changed. |

True, Love requires either action or a refraining from something (which restraint is also an action) That is why the 613 are divided into two groups, positive mitzvot aseh (such as )Exodus 20:2 - To believe in God and negative mitzvot lo taaseh (such as Do not trust in any power but Yahweh. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."(Exodus 20:3) ), each complimenting the other. Each of the mitzvot aseh is a 'to do' list, requiring action to do a thing each of the mitzvot lo taaseh is a "SHALT NOT or do not do this, requiring the "action" of restraint each of the 613 , whether to do, or a shalt not, shows an example of loving God and neighbor, however, Jesus exemplified that it is not an all-inclusive list, so if it isn't an ox in the ditch that needs returning to its master, but rather a lost bracelet or wallet, it needs to be returned to the rightful owner. |

"Isn’t it proper to understand the moral law fulfilled and adhered to" exactly, please examine the following "Jesus had no children." Actually, if we believe John, nothing was created without Him, All things were created By him, therefore, He created adam and is not only the father of the human race, but spiritually the father of all of G-d's children. ----------- "Jesus Touching the unclean" Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. Have you knowledge of the ashes of the red heiffer and the living water of separation/purification which was kept in the laver? Jesus was sacrificed outside the camp (the red cow was the ONLY sacrifice outside the camp) the ashes were stored in a clean place which was nigh (Jesus buried in a new tomb, because it was close) the ashes were added to "living water" (water which moved)9Jesus says He IS the living water. this water was used ceremonially in CLEANSING lepers People TOUCHING the cleansing living water of purification/separation were made clean, rather than the water being made unclean. Numbers 19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. It was required that if Jesus IS that living water, that he touch the unclean, as that was the only way to cleanse them. Matthew 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: Matthew 14:36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. Mark 6:56 And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole. NOTE there is no mention of Joseph of Arimathaea, being made unclean by touching the "dead" body of body of Jesus, he didn't need to wash in the water of separation and stay outside the camp.. Mark 1:44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. jesus cleanses and sanctified us, we didn't make him unclean. if a dead thing falls in a small pot of water, the water is unclean, if it falls in a well, spring, lake ocean, the water is not unclean, Jesus is a fountain, not a small limited non-flowind dead body of water, but the Living water. IF JESUS touching the dead HAD made HIM unclean, HIs sacrifice would nOT have been accepted. Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; It was common practice to try to touch the hem of a priest's garment, in effect that woman was acknowledging He was a priest, and the leper acknowledging that He IS the Living water of separation-purification by their attempts-requests. The ONLY time jesus was NOT supposed to be touched, is the same time a High Priest was not to be touched, while carrying the sacrifice TO the alter. John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. -------------------- "Jesus had no wife." Yes he does. You are essentially married once you are betrothed (engaged) He will return to get his bride. |
