JVH, Do you have a problem when "to call" is translated worship, then later they don't? I may know more about those who translated the TEV about the word worship. I spent six months looking at what the translators say ... not just in English. I used the lexicon and interlineral Bible to see the truth. In fact I have received a response from a translater, that he (they) were trying to consider what the culture was in translating and will consider what I said about the word worship. The number of words translated "worship" varies. Young's Literal Translation has 19 verses wher they use the word "worship". So, who is right? The challange is to spend two hours a day studying worship, for six months. Once a week spend six hours. First forget what you have been taught. Then pray before, during and after you study. A lexicon is needed. Steve PS There are at least two experts who agree with how I view worship. I found this out, after my study. PSS Please read what I send you via email. |

I count the human writers of the Bible as experts, JVH, and I have failed to put in the references. It is because they were inspired by God. However, -the Bible passage may already in the thread, like this is Rom 7:17. -not all responses are based on Scripture, like the pastor asking how to deal with conflict. |
