2983 | The need of a Shepherd and Master | 2 Chr 18:16 | Searcher56 | 18029
Ray, Matthew 9:36 and Mark 6:34, as well as John 10:1ff are about Jesus being a Shepherd. But, you may not take 2 Chronicles 18:16 outside the context. Don't force it. Remember, He is also the Lamb. Lambs become sheep. Steve |

2984 | Who determines what is "minor"? | Hebrews | Searcher56 | 18028
Kelkat, it is both minor and false. The latter has already been proven so. Steve
2985 | Can we agree? | Hebrews | Searcher56 | 17937
Kelkat, Christ was 100 correct, all the time. While preachers should be speaking the absolute 100 percent truth, I think many fail. However, when they twist the truth, they need to be challanged. It could be our view of the Word is not correct, or theirs. Either way, the one who is not correct needs to adjust. If the preacher does not, people shoild leave. Yes, for one error, that he refuses to correct. Steve
2986 | Explain 7 spirits of God, Jesus 7 church | Rev 5:6 | Searcher56 | 17909
Rev 1:13 says "and in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash." ... verse 20 says the lampstands are the churches. Do you have Scripture for 'Israel is the "wife of the Lord"' Steve |

It would be hard to make that move. Evne more when we read Revelation 2-3. He is in the churches, but, not the churches. He is the husband and the church is His wife ... read the end of Revelation. Steve

2991 | How many books does God have in heaven. | Rev 20:12 | Searcher56 | 17717
Nolan/ Nicodemus, I see the Book of life (Psa 69:28; Phi 4:3; Rev 3:5, 13:8, 17:8). This may be the same book, where people could be blotted out (Exo 32:32-33) and Daniel 12:1, where people will be rescued. Back to Rev 20:12; it sounds like there are more than book, besides the Book of life. I see two other books in heaven: -Rev 5:2ff - seven seals -Rev 10:2ff - little book These may be there, too -Psa 139:16 - Your Book -Isa 34:16 - book of the LORD I've been missing you, Steve |

EdB, I have problems with some things that Dake says. I cannot remember the details. But, they were enough to not listen to him. The gap theory is possible. I do not take sides. All I know is God did the creating and making. Steve |

2995 | New to the Word | Bible general Archive 1 | Searcher56 | 17683
My point is that if we use one study Bible, we could be swayed to believe like they do ... then when we read another view, we could be confused. Usually, if we are young in the Lord. Steve
2996 | Lionstrong, maybe this will clarify... | 2 Chr 7:14 | Searcher56 | 17669
I never said the church was Israel. The Church is NOT the NT Israel. We are Gentiles, not Israel. Yes, we have been grafted in. You have been mistaught, again. I the context of 2 Chronicles 7:14 a God who answers prayer? Read it again. Answer my questions. Then respond. No more until you repsond to my questions. Verse 13 ... has there been no rain? Verse 14 ... do the Christians have a land? Verse 15 ... are we in Jerusalem or the Temple? Verse 16 ... has God consentrated a place other than Israel? |
