Definition of Forknew: From G4253 and G1097; to know beforehand, that is, foresee: - foreknow (ordain), know (before). In short...yep I agree. I heard a Pastor say one time that we can't surprise God with our screw-ups. He will not start to open the package and say “oh no! I didn’t know he would do that.” Good example of that is Peter. Jesus told him before the Cock crows three times you will deny me. Obviously this is not a license to sin. But a comfort in times of being stupid. In the same note he has crystal clear vision into not just the mind of man but the heart. Good example there is David. God chose him not because of his outward appearance. I enjoy the questions. I have a good one coming up probably tomorrow. Something that blew my mind when I got a revelation about “who we are after the re-birth.” Still trying to figure it out myself. Might as well get some other opinions. Jesus is Lord. Enjoy the Blessings Pat |
