Ps 87:2The LORD loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob (Israel).
Ps 87:3Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God [Jerusalem]. Selah.
Ps 87:4"I will mention Rahab (Egypt) and Babylon among those who know Me-- Behold, Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia (Cush)-- 'This one was born there.'"
Ps 87:5But of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her," And the Most High Himself will establish her.
Ps 87:6The LORD will count, when He registers the peoples, "This one was born there." Selah.
