NASB | 1 Corinthians 6:1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 6:1 Does any one of you, when he has a complaint (civil dispute) with another [believer], dare to go to law before unrighteous men (non-believers) instead of [placing the issue] before the saints (God's people)? |
Bible Question: Is it wrong for a Christian to take someone to court over an on-the-job religious descrimination charge? The man who owns the business is a Christian, but the man who descriminated against me is not. |
Bible Answer: Please take the advice you sought. The advice from New Creature is good. You can decide to "suffer wrong" and "turn the other cheek". If that is hard, then share the burden with other Christians on the job. Take up the matter with the owner of the business. |
