Bible Question:
If there is something that we really want in life, are we saposed to pray to our Lord in as much detail as we can about it. For example. If you pray for a car. the lord might give you an old beat up 89 ford car. but then if you pray for a brand new 2005 for, then that's more specific. So are you saposed to pray your needs/wants in detail? Thanks |
Bible Answer: All I can say is that God knows you. He knows your thoughts and He knows your wants in complete detail. He knows what you will pray for before you even pray it! But keep in mind what you want and what you need are two completely different things and everything we have is a gift from God. Keep this in mind when you pray...are you praying for something you need or something you want? And when you pray for something you want, is it for your glory or His? |
