Subject: Under pressure?? |
Bible Note: "For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 2 Matt 6:27 "And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? 3 Matt 6:28 "And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, Tremendous pressure often brings worry and our Lord Jesus tells us that this is boith futile and unnecessary. He alone can answer all our needs. If we are anxious because of our worry and pressure then Jesus tells us to be anxious for nothing: Phil 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. If we would have peace then just ask Jesus for it. |
