When the Lamb broke the ^aseventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw ^athe seven angels who stand before God, and seven ^btrumpets were given to them.

3 ^aAnother angel came and stood at the ^baltar, holding a ^cgolden censer; and much ^dincense was given to him, so that he might ¹add it to the ^eprayers of all the ²saints on the ^fgolden altar which was before the throne. 4 And ^athe smoke of the incense ascended from the angel’s hand with the prayers of the ¹saints before God. 5 Then the angel ¹took the ²censer and ^afilled it with the fire of the altar, and ^bhurled it to the earth; and there were ^cpeals of thunder and sounds, and flashes of lightning and an ^dearthquake.

6 ^aAnd the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.

7 The first sounded, and there was ^ahail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and ^ba third of the earth was burned up, and ^ca third of the ^dtrees were burned up, and all the green ^egrass was burned up.

8 The second angel sounded, and something like a great ^amountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea; and ^ba third of the ^csea became blood, 9 and ^aa third of the creatures which were in the sea ¹and had life, died; and a third of the ^bships were destroyed.

10 The third angel sounded, and a great star ^afell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a ^bthird of the rivers and on the ^csprings of waters. 11 The star is named Wormwood; and a ^athird of the waters became ^bwormwood, and many people died from the waters because they were made bitter.

12 The fourth angel sounded, and a ^athird of the ^bsun, a third of the ^cmoon, and a ^dthird of the ^estars were struck, so that a ^fthird of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a ^gthird of it, and the night in the same way.

13 Then I looked, and I heard ¹an eagle flying in ^amidheaven, saying with a loud voice, “^bWoe, woe, woe to ^cthose who live on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the ^dthree angels who are about to sound!”

He had a ^cgolden ¹censer, and much ^2dincense was given to him, so that he might add it to the ^eprayers of all the saints (God’s people) on the ^fgolden altar in front of the throne. Ps 141:2 4 And ^athe smoke and fragrant aroma of the incense, with the prayers of the saints (God’s people) , ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 So the angel took the censer and ^afilled it with fire from the altar, and ^bhurled it to the earth; and there were ^cpeals of thunder and loud rumblings and sounds and flashes of lightning and an ^dearthquake. 7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there was a storm of ^ahail and fire, mixed with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and ^ba third of the earth was burned up, and ^ca third of the ^dtrees were burned up, and all the green ^egrass was burned up. Ex 9:13-35

8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a great ^amountain blazing with fire was hurled into the sea; and a ^bthird of the ^csea was turned to blood; Jer 51:25 9 and ^aa third of the living creatures that were in the sea died, and a third of the ^bships were destroyed.

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star ^afell from heaven, burning like a torch flashing across the sky, and it fell on a ^bthird of the rivers and on the ^csprings of fresh waters. 11 The name of the star is ¹Wormwood; and a ^athird of the waters became ^bwormwood, and many people died from the waters, because they had become bitter (toxic) .

12 Then the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a ^athird of the ^bsun and a third of the ^cmoon and a ^dthird of the ^estars were struck, so that a ^fthird of them would be darkened and a ^gthird of the daylight would not shine, and the night in the same way would not shine. Ex 10:21-23

13 Then I looked, and I heard a solitary eagle flying in ^1amidheaven for all to see, saying with a loud voice, “^2bWoe, woe, woe great wrath is coming to ^cthose who dwell on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpets which the ^dthree angels are about to sound announcing ever greater judgments!”
