Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When a man or woman makes ¹a special vow, namely, the vow of ^aa ²Nazirite, to live as a Nazirite for the LORD, 3 he shall ^aabstain from wine and ¹strong drink; he shall ²consume no vinegar, whether made from wine or strong drink, nor shall he drink any grape juice nor eat fresh or dried grapes. 4 All the days of his consecration he shall not eat anything that is produced from the grape vine, from the seeds even to the skin.

5 ‘All the days of his vow of consecration ^ano razor shall pass over his head. He shall be holy until the days are fulfilled which he lives as a Nazirite for the LORD; he shall let the locks of hair on his head grow long.

6 ‘^aAll the days of his life as a Nazirite for the LORD he shall not come up to a dead person. 7 He ^ashall not make himself unclean for his father or for his mother, for his brother or for his sister, when they die, because his consecration to God is ¹on his head. 8 All the days of his consecration he is holy to the LORD.

9 ‘But if someone dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his consecrated head of hair, then ^ahe shall shave his head on the day when he becomes clean; ^bhe shall shave it on the seventh day. 10 Then on the eighth day he shall bring ^atwo turtledoves or two young doves to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting. 11 And the priest shall offer ^aone as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for him ¹regarding his sin because of the dead person. And on that same day he shall consecrate his head, 12 and shall live his days of consecration as a Nazirite for the LORD, and shall bring a male lamb a year old as a guilt offering; but the preceding days will ¹not count, because his consecration was defiled.

13 ‘Now this is the law of the Nazirite ^awhen the days of his consecration are fulfilled: he shall bring ¹his offering to the entrance of the tent of meeting. 14 And he shall present his offering to the LORD: one male lamb a year old without defect as a burnt offering, one ^aewe lamb a year old without defect as a sin offering, one ram without defect as a peace offering, 15 and a basket of ^aunleavened loaves of fine flour mixed with oil and unleavened wafers spread with oil, along with ^btheir grain offering and their drink offering. 16 Then the priest shall present them before the LORD and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering. 17 He shall also offer the ram as a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD, together with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall also offer its grain offering and its drink offering. 18 ^aThe Nazirite shall then shave his consecrated head of hair at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and take the consecrated hair of his head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace offerings. 19 ^aAnd the priest shall take the ram’s shoulder when it has been boiled, and one unleavened loaf from the basket and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the ¹hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated hair. 20 Then the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD. It is holy for the priest, together with the breast offered as a wave offering, and the thigh offered as ¹a contribution; and ^aafterward the Nazirite may drink wine.’

21 “This is the law of the Nazirite who vows his offering to the LORD according to his consecration, in addition to what else ¹he can afford; corresponding to his vow which he makes, so he shall do according to the law of his consecration.”

22 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘In this way ^ayou shall bless the sons of Israel. You are to say to them:

27 So they shall ^1ainvoke My name on the sons of Israel, and then I will bless them.”

It is holy for the priest, together with the breast offered by waving and the thigh offered by lifting up; and ^aafterward the Nazirite may drink wine.’

21 “This is the law of the Nazirite who vows his offering to the LORD according to his separation, in addition to what else ¹he can afford; according to his vow which he takes, so he shall do according to the law of his separation.”

22 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘Thus ^ayou shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them:

27 So they shall ^1ainvoke My name on the sons of Israel, and I then will bless them.”

Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Say to the sons of Israel, ‘When a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of ^aa Nazirite, that is, one separated and dedicated to the LORD, 3 he shall ^aabstain from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar, whether made from wine or strong drink, nor shall he drink any grape juice nor eat fresh or dried grapes. Luke 1:15 4 ¹All the time of his separation he shall not eat anything produced from the grapevine, from the seeds even to the skins.

5 ‘All the time of the vow of his separation ^ano razor shall be used on his head. Until the time of his separation to the LORD is completed, he shall be holy, and shall let the hair of his head grow long.

6 ‘^aAll the time that he separates himself to the LORD he shall not go near a dead body. 7 He ^ashall not make himself ceremonially unclean for his father, mother, brother, or sister, when they die, because the responsibility for his separation to God is on his head. 8 All the time of his separation he is holy to the LORD.

9 ‘If a man dies very suddenly beside him, and he defiles his dedicated head, then ^ahe shall shave his head on the day that he becomes ceremonially clean; ^bhe shall shave it on the seventh day the end of the purification period. 10 On the eighth day he shall bring ^atwo turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) . 11 The priest shall offer the ^aone as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering and make atonement for him concerning his sin because of the dead body. He shall consecrate his head the same day, 12 and he shall dedicate himself to the LORD for the time of his separation and shall bring a male lamb a year old as a guilt offering; but the previous days will be void and lost, because his separation was defiled.

13 ‘Now this is the law of the Nazirite ^awhen the days of his separation and dedication are fulfilled: he shall bring the offering to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) . 14 And he shall offer his gift to the LORD: one male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering, and one ^afemale lamb a year old without blemish as a sin offering, and one ram without blemish as a peace offering, 15 and a basket of ^aunleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread spread with oil, along with ^btheir grain offering and their drink offering. 16 Then the priest shall present them before the LORD and shall offer the person’s sin offering and his burnt offering. 17 He shall also offer the ram as a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD, together with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also its grain offering and its drink offering. 18 ^aThe Nazirite shall shave his dedicated head at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) , and take the dedicated hair of his head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings. 19 ^aThe priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened ring-shaped loaf out of the basket, and one unleavened flat cake and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his dedicated hair. 20 Then the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD; they are a holy portion for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is offered by lifting up; and ^aafterward the Nazirite may drink wine.’

21 “This is the law for the ¹Nazirite who vows his offering to the LORD for his separation, besides what else ²he is able to afford, according to the vow which he has vowed; so shall he do according to the law for his separation and abstinence as a Nazirite.” Acts 21:24, 26

22 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way ^ayou shall bless the Israelites. Say to them:

27 So Aaron and his sons shall ^aput My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

13 ‘Now this is the law of the Nazirite ^awhen the days of his Nazirite vow are fulfilled: he shall bring ¹the offering to the doorway of the tent of meeting. 14 And he shall bring his offering near to Yahweh: one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering and one ^aewe-lamb a year old without blemish for a sin offering and one ram without blemish for a peace offering, 15 and a basket of ^aunleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil and unleavened wafers spread with oil, along with ^btheir grain offering and their drink offering. 16 Then the priest shall bring them near before Yahweh and shall offer his sin offering and his burnt offering. 17 He shall also offer with the ram a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, together with the basket of unleavened cakes; the priest shall likewise offer its grain offering and its drink offering. 18 ^aThe Nazirite shall then shave the head of hair for his Nazirite vow at the doorway of the tent of meeting and take the hair of his head of his Nazirite vow and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace offerings. 19 ^aAnd the priest shall take the ram’s shoulder when it has been boiled, and one unleavened cake out of the basket and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the ¹hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved the hair of his Nazirite vow. 20 Then the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh. It is holy for the priest, together with the breast offered by waving and the thigh offered by ¹raising up; and ^aafterward the Nazirite may drink wine.’

21 “This is the law of the Nazirite who vows his offering to Yahweh according to his Nazirite vow, in addition to what else ¹he can afford; according to his vow which he takes, so he shall do according to the law of his Nazirite vow.”
