The LORD spoke again to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘^aThe LORD’S appointed times which you shall ^bproclaim as holy convocations—My appointed times are these:

3 ‘^aFor six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a Sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings.

4 ‘These are the ^aappointed times of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. 5 ^aIn the ¹first month, on the fourteenth day of the month ²at twilight is the LORD’S Passover. 6 Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the ^aFeast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall ^anot do any laborious work. 8 But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.’”

9 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and you ^agather its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD for you to be accepted; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect as a burnt offering to the LORD. 13 Its ^agrain offering shall then be ¹two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to the LORD for a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a ²fourth of a hin of wine. 14 Until this very day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, ^ayou shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new produce. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.

15 ‘^aYou shall also count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths. 16 You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall present a ^anew grain offering to the LORD. 17 You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread as a wave offering, made of ¹two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be of a fine flour, baked ^awith leaven as first fruits to the LORD. 18 Along with the bread you shall present seven one-year-old male lambs without defect, and a bull of the herd and two rams; they are to be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD. 19 You shall also offer ^aone male goat as a ¹sin offering, and two male lambs one year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20 The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits as a wave offering with two lambs before the LORD; they are to be holy to the LORD for the priest. 21 On this very day you shall ^amake a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious ^bwork. It is to be a permanent statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.

22 ‘^aWhen you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very edges of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the stranger. I am the LORD your God.’”

23 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘^aIn the ¹seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a ²rest, a ^breminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall ^anot do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD.’”

26 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “On exactly ^athe tenth day of this seventh month is ^bthe Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble ¹yourselves and present an offering by fire to the LORD. 28 You shall not do any work on this very day, for it is a ^aDay of Atonement, ^bto make atonement on your behalf before the LORD your God. 29 If there is any ¹person who does not humble himself on this very day, ^ahe shall be cut off from his people. 30 As for any person who does any work on this very day, that person I will eliminate from among his people. 31 You shall not do any work. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. 32 It is to be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you shall humble ¹yourselves; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.”

33 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On ^athe fifteenth of this ¹seventh month is the ^bFeast of Booths for seven days to the LORD. 35 On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall ^anot do any laborious work. 36 ^aFor seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On ^bthe eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall not do any laborious work.

37 ‘These are ^athe appointed times of the LORD which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to the LORD—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, ^beach day’s matter on its own day— 38 besides those of the Sabbaths of the LORD, and besides your gifts and besides all your ¹vowed and ²voluntary offerings, which you give to the LORD.

39 ‘On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, ^awhen you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a ¹rest on the first day and a ²rest on the eighth day. 40 Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the ¹foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and branches of trees with thick branches and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. 41 So you shall celebrate it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You shall live ^ain booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths, 43 so that ^ayour generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’” 44 So Moses declared to the sons of Israel ^athe appointed times of the LORD.

And Yahweh spoke again to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘^aThe appointed times of Yahweh which you shall ^bproclaim as holy convocations—My appointed times are these:

You shall do no laborious ^bwork. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your places of habitation throughout your generations.

22 ‘^aWhen you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the afflicted and the sojourner. I am Yahweh your God.’”

23 Again Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘^aIn the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a ¹rest, a ^bmemorial by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall ^anot do any laborious work, but you shall bring an offering by fire near to Yahweh.’”

26 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “On exactly ^athe tenth day of this seventh month is ^bthe day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and bring an offering by fire near to Yahweh. 28 And you shall not do any work on this same day, for it is a ^aday of atonement, ^bto make atonement on your behalf before Yahweh your God. 29 If there is any ¹person who will not humble himself on this same day, ^ahe shall be cut off from his people. 30 And as for any person who does any work on this same day, that person I will cause to perish from among his people. 31 You shall do no work at all. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your places of habitation. 32 It is to be a sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall humble your souls; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath.”

33 Again Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On ^athe fifteenth of this seventh month is the ^bFeast of Booths for seven days to Yahweh. 35 On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do ^ano laborious work of any kind. 36 ^aFor seven days you shall bring an offering by fire near to Yahweh. On ^bthe eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and bring an offering by fire near to Yahweh; it is a solemn assembly. You shall do no laborious work.

37 ‘These are ^athe appointed times of Yahweh which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to bring offerings by fire near to Yahweh—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, ^beach day’s matter on its own day— 38 besides those of the sabbaths of Yahweh and besides your gifts and besides all your ¹votive and freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.

39 ‘On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, ^awhen you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days, with a ¹rest on the first day and a ²rest on the eighth day. 40 And on the first day you shall take for yourselves the ¹foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall be glad before Yahweh your God for seven days. 41 You shall thus celebrate it as a feast to Yahweh for seven days in the year. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You shall ¹live ^ain booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall ²live in booths, 43 so that ^ayour generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’” 44 So Moses spoke to the sons of Israel ^athe appointed times of Yahweh.

3 ‘^aFor six days work may be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation (calling together) . You shall not do any work on that day; it is the Sabbath of the LORD ¹wherever you may be.

4 ‘These are the ^aappointed times of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times: 5 ^aThe LORD’S Passover is on the fourteenth day of the first month ¹at twilight. 6 The ^aFeast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD is on the fifteenth day of the same month; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 1+@Cor 5:7, 8 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation (calling together) ; you shall not do ^aany laborious work on that day. 8 But you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD for seven days; on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work on that day.’”

9 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am giving you and ^areap its harvest, you shall bring the ¹sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD so that you may be accepted; the priest shall wave it on the day after the Sabbath. 12 Now on the day when you wave the sheaf you shall offer a male lamb one year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the LORD. 13 Its ^agrain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil, an offering by fire to the LORD for a sweet and soothing aroma, with its drink offering to be poured out, a fourth of a ¹hin of wine. 14 ^aYou shall not eat any bread or roasted grain or new growth, until this same day when you bring in the offering to your God; it is a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you may be.

15 ‘^aYou shall count from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf (tied bundle of grain) of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths (seven full weeks) . 16 You shall count ¹fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall present a ^anew grain offering to the LORD. 17 You shall bring in from your places two loaves of bread as a wave offering, made from two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour; they shall be baked ^awith leaven as first fruits to the LORD. 18 And you shall offer with the bread seven unblemished lambs, one year old, and one young bull and two rams. They are to be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their grain offering and their drink offerings. It is an offering by fire, a sweet and soothing aroma to the LORD. 19 And you shall sacrifice ^aone male goat as a sin offering and two male lambs, one year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20 The priest shall wave them before the LORD as a wave offering, together with the bread of the first fruits and the two lambs. They are to be holy to the LORD for the priest. 21 On this same day you shall ^amake a proclamation, you are to have a holy convocation (calling together) ; you shall not do any laborious ^bwork on that day. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you may be.

22 ‘^aWhen you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the edges of your field, nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am the LORD your God.’”

23 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Say to the children of Israel, ‘^aOn the first day of the seventh month (almost October) , you shall observe a day of solemn sabbatical rest, a ^bmemorial day announced by the blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall not do ^aany laborious work on that day, but you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD.’”

26 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “Also ^athe tenth day of this seventh month is ^bthe Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall ¹humble yourselves by fasting and present an offering by fire to the LORD. 28 You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is the ^aDay of Atonement, ^bto make atonement on your behalf before the LORD your God. 29 If there is any person who will not humble himself on this same day, ^ahe shall be cut off from his people excluding him from the atonement made for them. 30 If there is any person who does any work on this same day, I will destroy that person from among his people. 31 You shall do no work at all on that day. It is a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you may be. 32 It is to be to you a Sabbath of complete rest, and you shall humble yourselves. On the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening you shall keep your Sabbath.”

33 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Say to the children of Israel, ‘^aOn the fifteenth day of this seventh month, and for seven days, is ^bthe Feast of Booths (Tabernacles) to the LORD. 35 The first day is a holy convocation (calling together) ; you shall not do ^aany laborious work on that day. 36 ^aFor seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On ^bthe eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD. It is a festive assembly; you shall not do any laborious work on that day.

37 ‘These are the ^aappointed times (established feasts) of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering and a grain offering, sacrifices and drink offerings, ^beach on its own day. 38 This is in addition to the weekly Sabbaths of the LORD, and in addition to your gifts and all your vowed offerings and all your freewill offerings, which you give to the LORD.

39 ‘On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month (nearly October) , ^awhen you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a Sabbath rest on the first day and a Sabbath rest on the eighth day. 40 Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick (leafy) trees, and willows of the brook and make booths of them; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. 41 You shall celebrate it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You shall live ^ain booths (temporary shelters) for seven days; all native-born in Israel shall live in booths, 43 so that ^ayour generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’” 44 So Moses declared to the Israelites ^athe appointed feasts of the LORD.
