O LORD my God, ain You I have taken refuge;Save me from all those who pursue me, and brescue me,2 Or he will tear 1my soul alike a lion,Dragging me away, while there is no one to rescue me.
3 O LORD my God, if I have done this,If there is ainjustice in my hands,4 If I have adone evil to 1my friend,Or have bplundered 2my enemy for no reason,5 Let the enemy pursue 1my soul and overtake 2it;And let him trample my life to the groundAnd lay my glory in the dust.Selah
6 aArise, LORD, in Your anger;bRaise Yourself against cthe rage of my enemies,And dstir Yourself 1for me; You have ordered judgment.7 Let the assembly of the apeoples encompass You,And return on high over it.8 The LORD ajudges the peoples;1bVindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.9 Please let athe evil of the wicked come to an end, but bestablish the righteous;For the righteous God cputs hearts and 1minds to the test.10 My ashield is 1with God,Who bsaves the upright in heart.11 God is a arighteous judge,And a God who bshows indignation every day.
12 If one adoes not repent, He will bsharpen His sword;He has cbent His bow and taken aim.13 He has also prepared deadly weapons for Himself;He makes His aarrows fiery shafts.14 Behold, an evil person is pregnant with injustice,And he aconceives harm and gives birth to lies.15 He has dug a pit and hollowed it out,And has afallen into the hole which he made.16 His aharm will return on his own head,And his bviolence will descend on the top of his own head.
17 I will give thanks to the LORD aaccording to His righteousnessAnd will bsing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

O LORD my God, ain You I take refuge;Save me and brescue me from all those who pursue me,2 So that my enemy will not tear me alike a lion,Dragging me away while there is no one to rescue me.
3 O LORD my God, if I have done this,If there is ainjustice in my hands,4 If I have adone evil to him who was at peace with me,Or without cause brobbed him who was my enemy,5 Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me;And let him trample my life to the groundAnd lay my honor in the dust.Selah.
6 aArise, O LORD, in Your anger;bLift up Yourself against cthe rage of my enemies;dRise up for me; You have commanded judgment and vindication.7 Let the assembly of the anations be gathered around You,And return on high over them.8 The LORD ajudges the peoples;Judge me, O LORD, and bgrant me justice according to my righteousness and according to the integrity within me.9 Oh, let athe wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but bestablish the righteous those in right standing with You;For the righteous God ctries the hearts and minds. 12 If a man adoes not repent, God will bsharpen His sword;He has strung and cbent His mighty bow and made it ready.13 He has also prepared other deadly weapons for Himself;He makes His aarrows fiery shafts aimed at the unrepentant.14 Behold, the wicked and irreverent man is pregnant with sin,And he conceives amischief and gives birth to lies.15 He has dug a pit and hollowed it out,And has afallen into the very pit which he made as a trap.16 His amischief will return on his own head,And his bviolence will come down on the top of his head like loose dirt.
17 I will give thanks to the LORD aaccording to His righteousness and justice,And I will bsing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
