LORD, ado not rebuke me in Your anger,Nor discipline me in Your wrath.2 Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am afrail;bHeal me, LORD, for cmy bones are horrified.3 And my asoul is greatly horrified;But You, LORD—bhow long?
4 Return, LORD, arescue my 1soul;Save me because of Your mercy.5 For athere is no 1mention of You in death;In 2Sheol, who will praise You?
6 I am aweary with my sighing;Every night I make my bed swim,I flood my couch with bmy tears.7 My aeye has wasted away with grief;It has grown old because of all my enemies.
8 aLeave me, all you who practice injustice,For the LORD bhas heard the sound of my weeping.9 The LORD ahas heard my pleading,The LORD breceives my prayer.10 All my enemies will abe put to shame and greatly horrified;They shall 1turn back, they will bsuddenly be put to shame.

O LORD, ado not rebuke or punish me in Your anger,Nor discipline me in Your wrath.2 Have mercy on me and be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am aweak (faint, frail) ;bHeal me, O LORD, for cmy bones are dismayed and anguished.3 My asoul as well as my body is greatly dismayed.But as for You, O LORD—bhow long until You act on my behalf?
4 Return, O LORD, arescue my soul;Save me because of Your unfailing steadfast love and mercy.5 For in death athere is no mention of You;In Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) who will praise You and give You thanks?
6 I am aweary with my groaning;Every night I soak my bed with tears,I drench my couch with bmy weeping.7 My aeye grows dim with grief;It grows old because of all my enemies.
