“In that day a ^afountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for ^bsin and for ^cimpurity.

2 “It will come about in that day,” declares the LORD of hosts, “that I will ^acut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also remove the ^bprophets and the ^cunclean spirit from the land. 3 And if anyone still ^aprophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, ‘You shall ^bnot live, for you have spoken ^cfalsely in the name of the LORD’; and his ^dfather and mother who gave birth to him will pierce him through when he prophesies. 4 Also it will come about in that day that the prophets will each be ^aashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a ^bhairy robe in order to deceive; 5 but he will say, ‘I am ^anot a prophet; I am a tiller of the ground, for a man ¹sold me as a slave in my youth.’ 6 And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds ^abetween your ¹arms?’ Then he will say, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of ²my friends.’

2 “And it will come about on that day,” declares the LORD of armies, “that I will ^aeliminate the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also remove the ^bprophets and the ^cunclean spirit from the land. 3 And if anyone still ^aprophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, ‘You shall ^bnot live, because you have spoken ^cfalsely in the name of the LORD’; and his ^dfather and mother who gave birth to him shall pierce him through when he prophesies. 4 Also it will come about on that day that the prophets will each be ^aashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a ^bhairy robe in order to deceive; 5 but he will say, ‘I am ^anot a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, because a man ¹sold me as a slave in my youth.’ 6 And someone will say to him, ‘What are these wounds ^abetween your ¹arms?’ Then he will say, ‘Those with which I was wounded at the house of ²my friends.’

2 “And it will be in that day,” declares Yahweh of hosts, “that I will ^acut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also cause the ^bprophets and the ^cunclean spirit to pass away from the land. 3 And it will be that if anyone still ^aprophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, ‘You shall ^bnot live, for you have spoken ^cfalsely in the name of Yahweh’; and his ^dfather and mother who gave birth to him will pierce him through when he prophesies. 4 And it will be in that day, that the prophets will each be ^aashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a ^bhairy mantle in order to deceive; 5 but he will say, ‘I am ^anot a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, for a man ¹sold me as a slave in my youth.’ 6 And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds struck here ^abetween your ¹arms?’ Then he will say, ‘Those with which I was struck in the house of ²my friends.’

“In that day a ^afountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the people of Jerusalem for cleansing from ^bsin and ^cimpurity.

2 “In that day,” declares the LORD of hosts, “I will ^acut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered. I will also remove the false ^bprophets and the ^cunclean spirit from the land. 3 And if anyone still appears as a prophet and falsely ^aprophesies, then his father and his mother who gave birth to him will say to him, ‘You shall ^bnot live, for you have spoken ^clies in the name of the LORD’; and his ^dfather and his mother who gave birth to him shall pierce him through when he prophesies. 4 And in that day the false prophets will each be ^aashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not wear a ^bhairy robe of true prophets in order to deceive, 5 but he will deny his identity and say, ‘I am ^ano prophet. I work the ground, because a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’ 6 And one will say to him, ‘What are these ¹wounds ^abetween your arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those wounds I received in the house of my friends.’
