The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.
How blessed is the man who adoes not walk in the bcounsel of the wicked,Nor stand in the 1cpath of sinners,Nor dsit in the seat of scoffers!2 But his adelight is bin the law of the LORD,And in His law he meditates cday and dnight.3 He will be like aa tree firmly planted by 1streams of water,Which yields its fruit in its seasonAnd its 2leaf does not wither;And 3in whatever he does, bhe prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,But they are like achaff which the wind drives away.5 Therefore athe wicked will not stand in the bjudgment,Nor sinners in cthe assembly of the righteous.6 For the LORD 1aknows the way of the righteous,But the way of bthe wicked will perish.

1Blessed fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God is the man who does not awalk in the bcounsel of the wicked following their advice and example,Nor stand in the cpath of sinners,Nor dsit down to rest in the seat of 2scoffers (ridiculers) .2 But his adelight is bin the law of the LORD,And on His law His precepts and teachings he habitually meditates cday and dnight. Rom 13:8-10; Gal 3:1-29; 2+@Tim 3:163 And he will be like aa tree firmly planted and fed by streams of water,Which yields its fruit in its season;Its leaf does not wither;And in whatever he does, he bprospers and comes to maturity. 4 The wicked those who live in disobedience to God’s law are not so,But they are like the achaff worthless and without substance which the wind blows away.5 Therefore athe wicked will not stand unpunished in the bjudgment,Nor sinners in cthe assembly of the righteous.6 For the LORD aknows and fully approves the way of the righteous,But the way of bthe wicked shall perish.
