Then Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, “^aThese are the things that the LORD has commanded you to ¹do:

2 “^aFor six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, ^ba sabbath of complete rest to the LORD; ^cwhoever does any work on it shall be put to death. 3 ^aYou shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath day.”

4 Moses spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, saying, 5 ‘^aTake from among you a ¹contribution to the LORD; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as the LORD’S ²contribution: gold, silver, and ³bronze, 6 and ¹blue, purple and scarlet material, fine linen, goats’ hair, 7 and rams’ skins ¹dyed red, and porpoise skins, and acacia wood, 8 and oil for lighting, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense, 9 and onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the ¹breastpiece.

10 ‘^aLet every skillful man among you come, and make all that the LORD has commanded: 11 the ^1atabernacle, its tent and its covering, its hooks and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its ²sockets; 12 the ^aark and its poles, the ¹mercy seat, and the curtain of the screen; 13 the ^atable and its poles, and all its ¹utensils, and the bread of the ²Presence; 14 the ^alampstand also for the light and its utensils and its lamps and the oil for the light; 15 and the ^aaltar of incense and its poles, and the ^banointing oil and the ^cfragrant incense, and the screen for the doorway at the ¹entrance of the tabernacle; 16 ^athe altar of burnt offering with its ¹bronze grating, its poles, and all its ²utensils, the ³basin and its stand; 17 ^athe hangings of the court, its pillars and its ¹sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the court and their cords; 19 the ^1awoven garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.’”

20 Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel departed from Moses’ presence. 21 ^aEveryone whose heart ¹stirred him and everyone whose spirit ²moved him came and brought the LORD’S ³contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments. 22 Then all ¹whose hearts moved them, both men and women, came and brought brooches and ²earrings and signet rings and bracelets, all articles of gold; so did every man who ³presented an offering of gold to the LORD. 23 Every man, ¹who had in his possession ²blue and purple and scarlet material and fine linen and goats’ hair and rams’ skins ³dyed red and porpoise skins, brought them. 24 Everyone who could make a ¹contribution of silver and ²bronze brought the LORD’S ³contribution; and every man ⁴who had in his possession acacia wood for any work of the service brought it. 25 All the ¹skilled women spun with their hands, and brought what they had spun, in ²blue and purple and scarlet material and in fine linen. 26 All the women whose heart ¹stirred with a skill spun the goats’ hair. 27 The rulers brought the onyx stones and the stones for setting for the ephod and for the ¹breastpiece; 28 and ^athe spice and the oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense. 29 The ¹Israelites, all the men and women, whose heart ²moved them to bring material for all the work, which the LORD had commanded through Moses to be done, brought a ^afreewill offering to the LORD.

30 ^aThen Moses said to the sons of Israel, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 31 And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge and in all ¹craftsmanship; 32 ¹to make designs for working in gold and in silver and in ²bronze, 33 and in the cutting of stones for settings and in the carving of wood, so as to perform in every inventive work. 34 He also has put in his heart to teach, both he and ^aOholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35 ^aHe has filled them with ¹skill to perform every work of an engraver and of a designer and of an embroiderer, in ²blue and in purple and in scarlet material, and in fine linen, and of a weaver, as performers of every work and makers of designs.

Moses gathered all the congregation of the sons of Israel together, and said to them, “^aThese are the things which the LORD has commanded you to do:

Whoever has a willing heart, let him bring it as the LORD’S offering: gold, silver, and bronze, 6 blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, fine linen, goats’ hair, 7 and ¹rams’ skins dyed red, and skins of ²porpoises, and acacia wood, 8 and olive oil for the lighting, and balsam for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense, 9 and ¹onyx stones and other stones to be set for the ephod and the breastpiece.

10 ‘^aLet every skilled and talented man among you come, and make everything that the LORD has commanded: 11 the ^atabernacle (sacred dwelling of God) , its tent and its covering, its hooks, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets; 12 the ^aark of the covenant and its carrying poles, with the ¹mercy seat and the veil (partition curtain) of the screen to hang between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies; 13 the ^atable and its carrying poles, and all its utensils, and the bread of the divine Presence (showbread) ; 14 the ^alampstand also for the light and its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for the light; 15 and the altar of ^aincense and its carrying poles, the ^banointing oil and the ^cfragrant incense, the screen (curtain) for the doorway at the entrance of the tabernacle; 16 ^athe altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its carrying poles, and all its utensils, the wash basin and its base (stand) ; 17 the court’s ^acurtains, its support poles and their sockets, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the court and their cords; 19 the ^afinely-woven garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons, to minister as priests.’”

20 Then all the congregation of the Israelites left Moses’ presence. 21 ^aEveryone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit moved him came and brought the LORD’S offering to be used for the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments. 22 Then all whose hearts moved them, both men and women, came and brought brooches, earrings or nose rings, signet rings, and necklaces, all jewels of gold; everyone bringing an offering of gold to the LORD. 23 Every man who had in his possession blue or purple or scarlet fabric, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and ¹rams’ skins dyed red and ²porpoise skins, brought them. 24 Everyone who could make an offering of silver or bronze brought it as the LORD’S offering; every man who had in his possession acacia wood for any work of the service brought it. 25 All the skilled and talented women spun thread with their hands, and brought what they had spun, blue and purple and scarlet fabric and fine linen. 26 All the women whose heart stirred with a skill spun the goats’ hair. 27 The leaders brought onyx stones and other stones to be put in settings for the ephod and for the breastpiece, 28 and ^aspice and olive oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense. 29 The Israelites, all the men and women whose heart moved them to bring material for all the work which the LORD had commanded through Moses to be done, brought a ^afreewill (voluntary) offering to the LORD.

30 ^aThen Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31 and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom and skill, with intelligence and understanding, and with knowledge in all areas of craftsmanship, 32 to devise artistic designs to work in gold, silver, and bronze, 33 and in the cutting of stones for setting and in the carving of wood, for work in every skilled craft. 34 He has also put in Bezalel’s heart the willingness to teach others the same skills, both he and ^aOholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35 ^aHe has filled them with skill to do the work of an engraver, of a designer, and of an embroiderer, in blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, and in fine linen, and of a weaver; makers of every work and embroiderers of excellent designs.

Then Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, “^aThese are the things that the LORD has commanded you to ¹do:

10 ‘^aHave every skillful person among you come and make all that the LORD has commanded: 11 the ^1atabernacle, its tent and its covering, its hooks and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 12 the ^aark and its poles, the ¹atoning cover, and the covering curtain; 13 the ^atable and its poles, and all its ¹utensils, and the bread of the ²Presence; 14 the ^alampstand also for the light and its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for the light; 15 and the ^aaltar of incense and its poles, and the ^banointing oil and the ^cfragrant incense, and the curtain for the doorway at the ¹entrance of the tabernacle; 16 ^athe altar of burnt offering with its ¹bronze grating, its poles, and all its ²utensils, the basin and its stand; 17 ^athe hangings of the courtyard, its pillars and its bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the courtyard and their ropes; 19 the ^1awoven garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests.’”

20 Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel departed from Moses’ presence. 21 And ^aeveryone whose heart ¹stirred him and everyone whose spirit ²moved him came and brought the LORD’S ³contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service, and for the holy garments. 22 Then all ¹whose hearts moved them, both men and women, came and brought brooches and ²earrings and signet rings and bracelets, all articles of gold; so did everyone who ³presented an offering of gold to the LORD. 23 Everyone ¹who was in possession of violet, purple, or scarlet material or fine linen or goats’ hair, or rams’ skins ²dyed red or fine leather, brought them. 24 Everyone who could make a ¹contribution of silver and ²bronze brought the LORD’S ³contribution; and everyone ⁴who was in possession of acacia wood for any work of the service brought it. 25 And all the ¹skilled women spun with their hands, and brought what they had spun, in violet, purple, and scarlet material, and in fine linen. 26 And all the women whose heart ¹stirred with a skill spun the goats’ hair. 27 The rulers, moreover, brought the onyx stones and the stones for setting for the ephod and for the ¹breastpiece; 28 and ^athe spice and the oil for the light and for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense. 29 The ¹Israelites, all the men and women, whose heart ²moved them to bring material for all the work, which the LORD had commanded through Moses to be done, brought a ^3avoluntary offering to the LORD.

4 And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded, saying, 5 ‘^aTake from among you a ¹contribution to Yahweh; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as a ²contribution to Yahweh: gold, silver, and ³bronze, 6 and ¹blue, purple, and scarlet material, fine linen, goats’ hair, 7 and rams’ skins ¹dyed red, and porpoise skins, and acacia wood, 8 and oil for lighting, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense, 9 and onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the ¹breastpiece.

10 ‘^aAnd let everyone ¹wise at heart among you come and make all that Yahweh has commanded: 11 the ^1atabernacle, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 12 the ^aark and its poles, the ¹mercy seat, and the curtain of the screen; 13 the ^atable and its poles, and all its ¹utensils, and the bread of the ²Presence; 14 the ^alampstand also for the light and its utensils and its lamps and the oil for the light; 15 and the ^aaltar of incense and its poles, and the ^banointing oil and the ^cfragrant incense, and the screen for the doorway at the ¹entrance of the tabernacle; 16 ^athe altar of burnt offering with its ¹bronze grating, its poles, and all its ²utensils, the laver and its stand; 17 ^athe hangings of the court, its pillars and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the court and their cords; 19 the ^1awoven garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.’”

20 Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel went out from Moses’ presence. 21 ^aAnd everyone whose heart ¹stirred him and everyone whose spirit was willing came and brought the ²contribution to Yahweh for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments. 22 Then all whose hearts were willing, both men and women, came and brought brooches and ¹earrings and signet rings and bracelets, all articles of gold; so did every man who waved it as a wave offering of gold to Yahweh. 23 And every man, ¹who had in his possession ²blue and purple and scarlet material and fine linen and goats’ hair and rams’ skins ³dyed red and porpoise skins, brought them. 24 Everyone who could raise up a ¹contribution of silver and ²bronze brought the ³contribution to Yahweh; and every man ⁴who had in his possession acacia wood for any work of the service brought it. 25 All the women ¹wise at heart spun with their hands and brought what they had spun, in ²blue and purple and scarlet material and in fine linen. 26 And all the women whose heart ¹stirred with wisdom spun the goats’ hair. 27 And the rulers brought the onyx stones and the stones for setting for the ephod and for the ¹breastpiece; 28 and ^athe spice and the oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense. 29 The sons of Israel—all the men and women whose heart was willing to bring material for all the work, which Yahweh had commanded through the hand of Moses to do—brought a ^afreewill offering to Yahweh.

30 ^aThen Moses said to the sons of Israel, “See, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 31 And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in discernment, and in knowledge, and in all ¹craftsmanship; 32 to devise ¹designs for working in gold and in silver and in ²bronze, 33 and in the cutting of stones for settings and in the carving of wood, so as to do well in every work of thoughtful design. 34 He also has put in his heart to teach, both he and ^aOholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35 ^aHe has filled them with ¹wisdom in their heart to do every work of an engraver and of a designer and of an embroiderer, in ²blue and in purple and in scarlet material and in fine linen, and of a weaver, as those who do every work and make designs.
