For seven women will take hold of ^aone man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; ^btake away our reproach!”

2 In that day the ^aBranch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the ^bfruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the ^csurvivors of Israel. 3 It will come about that he who is ^aleft in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called ^bholy—everyone who is ^crecorded for life in Jerusalem. 4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the ^adaughters of Zion and ¹purged the ^bbloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the ^cspirit of judgment and the ^dspirit of burning, 5 then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies ^aa cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the ^bglory will be a canopy. 6 There will be a ^ashelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and ¹protection from the storm and the rain.

And in that day seven women will take hold of ^aone man, saying, “We will eat our own food and wear and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name; ^btake away our shame of being unmarried.”

2 In that day the ^aBranch of the LORD will be splendid and glorious, and the ^bfruit of the land will be excellent and lovely to those ^cof Israel who have survived. Jer 23:5; 33:15; Zech 3:8; 6:12 3 It will come to pass that he who is ^aleft in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called ^bholy (set apart for God)—everyone who is ^crecorded for eternal life in Jerusalem. Joel 3:17; Phil 4:3 4 When the Lord has washed away the moral filth of the ^adaughters of Zion and has cleansed the ^bbloodstains of Jerusalem from her midst, by the ^cspirit of judgment and by the ^dspirit of burning, 5 then the LORD will create over the entire site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, ^aa cloud by day, smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the ^bglory and brilliance will be a canopy a defense, a covering of His divine love and protection. 6 And there will be a ^apavilion for shade from the heat by day, and a refuge and a shelter from the storm and the rain.

2 In that day the ^aBranch of Yahweh will be beautiful and glorious, and the ^bfruit of the earth will be the pride and the ¹honor of ^cthose of Israel who escape. 3 It will be that he who ^aremains in Zion and is left in Jerusalem will be called ^bholy—everyone who is ^cwritten down for life in Jerusalem. 4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the ^adaughters of Zion and rinsed away the ^bbloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the ^cspirit of judgment and the ^dspirit of burning, 5 then Yahweh will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her convocation ^aa cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the ^bglory will be a canopy. 6 And there will be a ^abooth to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and a hiding place from the storm and the rain.
