^aBrothers, even if ¹anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are ^bspiritual, ^crestore such a one ^din a spirit of gentleness, each of you looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. 2 ^aBear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill ^bthe law of Christ. 3 For ^aif anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But each one must ^aexamine his own work, and then he will have reason for ^bboasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. 5 For ^aeach one will bear his own load.

6 ^aAnd the one who is instructed in ^bthe word is to share in all good things with the one who instructs him. 7 ^aDo not be deceived, ^bGod is not mocked, for ^cwhatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 ^aFor the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap ^bcorruption, but ^cthe one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 ^aAnd let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we ^bdo not grow weary. 10 So then, ^1awhile we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the ^bhousehold of ^cthe faith.

11 See with what large letters I ¹am writing to you ^awith my own hand! 12 As many as are wanting ^ato make a good showing in the flesh, these are trying to ^bcompel you to be circumcised, simply so that they ^cwill not be persecuted ¹for the cross of Christ. 13 For those who ¹are circumcised do not even ^akeep ²the Law themselves, but they want to have you circumcised so that they may ^bboast in your flesh. 14 But ^amay it never be that I would boast, ^bexcept in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^cthrough ¹which the world has been crucified to me, and ^dI to the world. 15 For ^aneither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a ^bnew ¹creation. 16 And those who will ¹walk in step with this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the ^aIsrael of God.

17 From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the ^amarks of Jesus.

^aBrothers, if anyone is caught in any sin, you who are ^bspiritual that is, you who are responsive to the guidance of the Spirit are to ^crestore such a person ^din a spirit of gentleness not with a sense of superiority or self-righteousness, keeping a watchful eye on yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. 2 ^aCarry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of ^bthe law of Christ that is, the law of Christian love. John 13:34 3 For ^aif anyone thinks he is something special when in fact he is nothing special except in his own eyes, he deceives himself. 4 But each one must carefully ^ascrutinize his own work examining his actions, attitudes, and behavior, and then he can have the ^bpersonal satisfaction and inner joy of doing something commendable ¹without comparing himself to another. 5 For ^aevery person will have to bear with patience his own burden of faults and shortcomings for which he alone is responsible.

6 ^aThe one who is taught ^bthe word of God is to share all good things with his teacher contributing to his spiritual and material support. 7 ^aDo not be deceived, ^bGod is not mocked He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside; for ^cwhatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. 8 ^aFor the one who sows to his flesh his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses will reap from the flesh ^bruin and destruction, but ^cthe one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 ^aLet us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we ^bdo not give in. 10 So then, ^awhile we as individual believers have the opportunity, let us do good to all people not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being, and especially be a blessing to those of the ^bhousehold of ^cfaith (born-again believers) .

11 See with what ¹large letters I ²am writing to you ^awith my own hand. 12 Those who want ^ato make a good impression in public before the Jews try to ^bcompel you to be circumcised, just so they ^cwill escape being persecuted for faithfulness to the cross of Christ. 13 For even the circumcised Jews themselves do not really ^akeep the Law, but they want to have you circumcised so that they may ^bboast in your flesh that is, in the fact that they convinced you to be circumcised. 14 But ^afar be it from me to boast in anything or anyone, ^bexcept in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^cthrough whom the world has been crucified to me, and ^dI to the world. 15 For ^aneither is circumcision anything of any importance, nor uncircumcision, but only a ^bnew creation which is the result of a new birth—a spiritual transformation—a new nature in Christ Jesus. 16 Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule who discipline themselves and conduct their lives by this principle, and upon the true ^aIsrael of God (Jewish believers) . Ps 125:5

17 From now on let no one trouble me by making it necessary for me to justify my authority as an apostle, and the absolute truth of the gospel, for I bear on my body the ^1abranding-marks of Jesus the wounds, scars, and other outward evidence of persecutions—these testify to His ownership of me.
