Por consiguiente, hermanos, os ruego^a por las misericordias de Dios que presentéis vuestros cuerpos como sacrificio vivo y santo^b, aceptable¹ a Dios, que es vuestro culto racional. 2 Y no os adaptéis¹ a este mundo^2a, sino transformaos mediante la renovación de vuestra mente^b, para que verifiquéis cuál es la voluntad de Dios: lo que es bueno, aceptable³ y perfecto^c.

3 Porque en virtud de la gracia que me ha sido dada^a, digo a cada uno de¹ vosotros que no piense más alto de sí que lo que debe pensar^b, sino que piense con buen juicio², según la medida de fe^c que Dios ha distribuido a cada uno. 4 Pues así como en un cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, pero no todos los miembros tienen la misma función^a, 5 así nosotros, que somos muchos^a, somos un cuerpo en Cristo^b e individualmente miembros los unos de los otros. 6 Pero teniendo dones que difieren, según la gracia que nos ha sido dada^a, usémoslos: si el de profecía^b, úsese en proporción a la fe; 7 si el de servicio^a, en servir¹; o el que enseña^b, en la enseñanza; 8 el que exhorta, en la exhortación^a; el que da, con liberalidad^1b; el que dirige^2c, con diligencia; el que muestra misericordia, con alegría^d.

9 El amor sea sin hipocresía^a; aborreciendo lo malo, aplicándoos¹ a lo bueno^b. 10 Sed afectuosos unos con otros con amor fraternal^a; con honra^b, daos preferencia unos a otros; 11 no seáis perezosos en lo que requiere diligencia; fervientes en espíritu^a, sirviendo al Señor^b, 12 gozándoos en la esperanza^a, perseverando en el sufrimiento^b, dedicados a la oración^c, 13 contribuyendo para las necesidades de los santos^a, practicando¹ la hospitalidad^b. 14 Bendecid a los que os¹ persiguen^a; bendecid, y no maldigáis. 15 Gozaos con los que se gozan y llorad con los que lloran^a. 16 Tened el mismo sentir^1a unos con otros; no seáis altivos en vuestro pensar, sino condescendiendo con los humildes^2b. No seáis sabios en vuestra propia opinión^c. 17 Nunca paguéis a nadie mal por mal^a. Respetad¹ lo bueno delante de todos los hombres^b. 18 Si es posible, en cuanto de vosotros dependa^a, estad en paz con todos los hombres^b. 19 Amados, nunca os venguéis^a vosotros mismos, sino dad lugar a la ira de Dios, porque escrito está: MIA ES LA VENGANZA, YO PAGARE, dice el Señor^b. 20 PERO SI TU ENEMIGO TIENE HAMBRE, DALE DE COMER; Y SI TIENE SED, DALE DE BEBER, PORQUE HACIENDO ESTO, CARBONES ENCENDIDOS AMONTONARÁS SOBRE SU CABEZA^a. 21 No seas vencido por el mal, sino vence con el bien el mal.

Therefore ^aI urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to ^bpresent your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, ¹acceptable to God, which is your ²spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not ^abe conformed to ^bthis ¹world, but be transformed by the ^crenewing of your mind, so that you may ^2dprove what the will of God is, that which is good and ³acceptable and perfect.

3 For through ^athe grace given to me I say to everyone among you ^bnot to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to ^ceach a measure of faith. 4 For ^ajust as we have many parts in one body and all ¹the body’s parts do not have the same function, 5 so we, ^awho are many, are ^bone body in Christ, and individually parts of one another. 6 However, since we have gifts that ^adiffer according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them properly: if ^bprophecy, ¹in proportion to one’s faith; 7 if ^1aservice, in the act of serving; or the one who ^bteaches, in the act of teaching; 8 or the one who ^1aexhorts, in the work of ²exhortation; the one who gives, with ^3bgenerosity; ^cthe one who ⁴is in leadership, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with ^dcheerfulness.

9 ^1aLove must be free of hypocrisy. ^bDetest what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be ^adevoted to one another in brotherly love; ¹give preference to one another ^bin honor, 11 not lagging behind in diligence, ^afervent in spirit, ^bserving the Lord; 12 ^arejoicing in hope, ^bpersevering in tribulation, ^cdevoted to prayer, 13 ^acontributing to the needs of the ¹saints, ^2bpracticing hospitality.

14 ^aBless those who persecute ¹you; bless and do not curse. 15 ^aRejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 ^aBe of the same mind toward one another; ^bdo not be ¹haughty in mind, but ²associate with the lowly. ^cDo not be wise in your own estimation. 17 ^aNever repay evil for evil to anyone. ^1bRespect what is right in the sight of all people. 18 If possible, ^aso far as it depends on you, ^bbe at peace with all people. 19 ^aNever take your own revenge, beloved, but ¹leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “^bVENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord. 20 “^aBUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM; IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
