Líbrame^a, oh SEÑOR, de los hombres malignos;guárdame de los hombres violentos^b,2 que traman maldades en su corazón^a;que cada día provocan guerras^b.3 Aguzan su lengua como serpiente^a;veneno de víbora hay bajo sus labios^b.(Selah¹)

4 Guárdame, SEÑOR, de las manos del impío;protégeme de los hombres violentos^a,que se han propuesto¹ hacerme tropezar²^b.5 Los soberbios han ocultado¹ trampa y cuerdas para mí^a;han tendido red al borde del sendero^b;me han puesto lazos^c.(Selah)

6 Dije al SEÑOR: Tú eres mi Dios^a;escucha^b, oh SEÑOR, la voz de mis súplicas^c.7 Oh DIOS¹, Señor, poder de mi salvación^a,tú cubriste mi cabeza en el día de la batalla²^b.8 No concedas, SEÑOR, los deseos del impío^a;no hagas prosperar sus malos designios^b, para que no se exalten.(Selah)

9 En cuanto a¹ los que me rodean,que la malicia de sus labios los cubra^a.10 Caigan sobre ellos carbones encendidos^a;sean arrojados en el fuego^b,en abismos profundos¹ de donde no se puedan levantar²^c.11 Que el hombre de mala lengua no permanezca en la tierra;que al hombre violento lo persiga el mal implacablemente¹^a.

12 Yo sé que el SEÑOR sostendrá la causa del afligido^a,y el derecho de los pobres^b.13 Ciertamente los justos darán gracias a tu nombre^a,y los rectos morarán en tu presencia^b.

^aRescue me, LORD, from evil people;Protect me from ^bviolent men2 Who ^adevise evil things in their hearts;They ^bcontinually stir up wars.3 They ^asharpen their tongues like a snake;^bThe venom of a viper is under their lips.Selah

4 ^aKeep me, LORD, from the hands of the wicked;^bProtect me from violent menWho ¹intend to ²^ctrip up my feet.5 The proud have ^ahidden a trap for me, and snares;They have spread a ^bnet at the ¹wayside;They have set ^csnares for me.Selah

6 I ^asaid to the LORD, “You are my God;^bListen, LORD, to the ^csound of my pleadings.7 “¹GOD the Lord, ^athe strength of my salvation,You have ^bcovered my head on the day of ²battle.8 “Do not grant, LORD, the ^adesires of the wicked;Do not bring about ^bhis evil planning, so that they are not exalted.Selah

9 “As for the head of those who surround me,May the ^aharm of their lips cover them.10 “May ^aburning coals fall upon them;May they be ^bcast into the fire,Into bottomless pits from which they ^ccannot rise.11 “May a ¹slanderer not endure on the earth;^aMay evil hunt a violent person ²violently.”

12 I know that the LORD will ^amaintain the cause of the afflicted,And ^bjustice for the poor.13 Certainly the ^arighteous will give thanks to Your name;The ^bupright will dwell in Your presence.
