Importancia de guardar el pacto de Dios

Así dice el SEÑOR:Preservad el derecho y haced justicia^a,porque mi salvación está para llegary mi justicia para ser revelada^b.2 Cuán bienaventurado es el hombre que hace esto^a,y el hijo del hombre que a ello se aferra;que guarda el día de reposo sin profanarlo^b,y guarda su mano de hacer mal alguno.3 Que el extranjero que se ha allegado al SEÑOR^a, no diga¹:Ciertamente el SEÑOR me separará de su pueblo.Ni diga el eunuco^b: He aquí, soy un árbol seco.4 Porque así dice el SEÑOR:A los eunucos que guardan mis días de reposo,escogen lo que me agraday se mantienen firmes en mi pacto^a,5 les daré en mi casa^a y en mis muros un lugar^b,y un nombre mejor que el de hijos e hijas;les¹ daré nombre eterno que nunca será borrado^c.

6 Y a los extranjeros que se alleguen al SEÑOR^apara servirle, y para amar el nombre del SEÑOR,para ser sus siervos, a todos los que guardan el día de reposo sin profanarlo,y se mantienen firmes en mi pacto^b,7 yo los traeré a mi santo monte^a,y los alegraré^b en mi casa de oración.Sus holocaustos y sus sacrificios serán aceptos sobre mi altar^c;porque mi casa será llamada casa de oración para todos los pueblos^d.8 Declara el Señor DIOS¹ que reúne a los dispersos de Israel^a:Todavía les² juntaré otros a los³ ya reunidos^b.

9 Bestias todas del campo,venid a comer,bestias todas del bosque^a.10 Sus centinelas^a son ciegos^b,ninguno sabe nada.Todos son perros mudos que no pueden ladrar,soñadores¹ acostados, amigos de dormir;11 y los perros son voraces¹, no se sacian²^a.Y ellos son pastores que no saben entender^b;todos se han apartado por su camino^c,cada cual, hasta el último, busca su propia ganancia.12 Venid—dicen—busquemos¹ vino y embriaguémonos de licor^a;y mañana será como hoy,solo que mucho mejor^b.

Rewards for Obedience to God

This is what the LORD says:“^aGuard justice and do righteousness,For My ^bsalvation is about to comeAnd My righteousness to be revealed.2 “^aBlessed is a man who does this,And a son of man who ^btakes hold of it;Who ^ckeeps from profaning the Sabbath,And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”3 Let not the ^aforeigner who has joined himself to the LORD say,“The LORD will certainly separate me from His people.”Nor let the ^beunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”4 For this is what the LORD says:“To the eunuchs who ^akeep My Sabbaths,And choose what pleases Me,And ^bhold firmly to My covenant,5 To them I will give in My ^ahouse and within My ^bwalls a memorial,And a name better than that of sons and daughters;I will give ¹them an everlasting ^cname which ^dwill not be eliminated.

6 “Also the ^aforeigners who join themselves to the LORD,To attend to His service and to love the name of the LORD,To be His servants, every one who ^bkeeps the Sabbath so as not to profane it,And holds firmly to My covenant;7 Even ^athose I will bring to My ^bholy mountain,And ^cmake them joyful in My house of prayer.Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on ^dMy altar;For ^eMy house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”8 The Lord ¹GOD, who ^agathers the dispersed of Israel, declares,“I will yet gather ^bothers to ²them, to those already gathered.”

9 All you ¹^awild animals,All you animals in the forest,Come to eat.10 His ^awatchmen are ^bblind,All of them know nothing.All of them are mute dogs unable to bark,Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;11 And the dogs are ¹^agreedy, they ²are never satisfied.And they are shepherds who have ^bno understanding;They have all ^cturned to their own way,Each one to his unjust gain, ³without exception.12 “Come,” they say, “¹let’s get ^awine, and let’s drink heavily of intoxicating drink;And ^btomorrow will be like today, only more so.”
