Midió la² longitud de la nave y tenía cuarenta codos, y la anchura, veinte codos^a. 3 Luego entró al interior y midió cada pilar^a de la entrada, y tenían dos codos, la entrada tenía seis codos de altura^b, y la anchura de la entrada, siete codos. 4 Midió su longitud y tenía veinte codos, y la anchura, veinte codos delante de la nave. Entonces él me dijo: Este es el lugar santísimo^a.

5 Después midió la anchura del muro del templo¹ y tenía seis codos, y la anchura de las cámaras laterales, cuatro codos por todos los lados alrededor del templo^a. 6 Las cámaras laterales estaban superpuestas¹ en tres pisos, treinta en cada piso²; y las cámaras laterales se extendían hasta³ el muro que estaba en su lado interior⁴, todo alrededor, para que fueran aseguradas sin que fueran aseguradas al muro del templo^a. 7 Las cámaras laterales alrededor del templo se ensanchaban en cada piso sucesivo. Debido a que la estructura alrededor del templo se ensanchaba por etapas por todos los lados del templo, la¹ anchura del templo aumentaba según se subía. Así se podía subir del piso inferior al más alto por el piso intermedio^a. 8 También vi que el templo tenía todo alrededor una plataforma elevada¹; los cimientos de las cámaras laterales tenían de alto una caña entera de seis codos largos^2a. 9 La anchura del muro exterior de las cámaras laterales era de cinco codos^a. Pero el espacio libre entre¹ las cámaras laterales que pertenecían al templo 10 y las cámaras exteriores^a era de veinte codos de anchura por todos los lados alrededor del templo. 11 Y las entradas de las cámaras laterales¹ que daban hacia el espacio libre consistían en una entrada hacia el norte y otra entrada hacia el sur; y la anchura del espacio libre era de cinco codos, todo alrededor^a.

12 El edificio que estaba enfrente de la zona separada, hacia el lado occidental, tenía setenta codos de ancho; y el muro del edificio tenía cinco codos de ancho, todo alrededor^a, y su longitud era de noventa codos^b. 13 Midió el templo y tenía cien codos de largo^a; la zona separada con el edificio^b y sus muros tenían también cien codos de largo^c. 14 La anchura del frente del templo y la de las zonas separadas¹ a lo largo del lado oriental también sumaban cien codos.

15 Midió la longitud del edificio a lo largo del¹ frente de la zona separada que había detrás de él^a, con una galería² a cada lado, y era de cien codos^b; también midió la nave interior y los pórticos del atrio^c. 16 Los umbrales^a, las ventanas con celosías¹ y las galerías² alrededor^b de sus tres pisos, frente al umbral, estaban recubiertos de madera todo alrededor^c, desde el suelo hasta las ventanas^d (mas las ventanas estaban cubiertas con celosías^e), 17 sobre la entrada, hasta el santuario¹ interior y el exterior, y alrededor de todo el muro, por dentro y por fuera, según sus medidas. 18 Y había esculpidos¹ querubines y palmeras^a; una palmera entre querubín y querubín^b, y cada querubín tenía dos caras: 19 cara de hombre hacia la palmera por un lado y cara de leoncillo^a hacia la palmera por el otro lado; estaban esculpidos alrededor de todo el templo. 20 Desde el suelo hasta encima de la entrada había esculpidos^a querubines y palmeras, así como en la pared de la nave.

21 Los postes de la nave eran cuadrados, también los del frente del santuario; el aspecto de uno era como el aspecto del otro^a. 22 El altar era de madera de tres codos de alto, y su longitud de dos codos; sus esquinas, su base¹ y sus lados² eran de madera^a. Y él me dijo: Esta es la mesa que está delante del SEÑOR^b. 23 La nave^a y el santuario^b tenían puertas dobles^c. 24 Las puertas tenían dos hojas, dos hojas giratorias; dos hojas una puerta y dos la otra^a. 25 También estaban esculpidos en ellas, en las puertas de la nave, querubines y palmeras^a como los esculpidos en las paredes; y había un portal de madera^b en¹ la fachada del vestíbulo por el exterior. 26 Y había ventanas^a con celosías¹ y palmeras a uno y otro lado^b, a los dos lados² del vestíbulo^c; así eran las cámaras laterales del templo^d y los umbrales³.

Then he ^abrought me to the ^bsanctuary, and he measured the ^cside pillars: six ¹cubits wide on each side was the width of the ²side pillar. 2 The width of the entrance was ten cubits and the ¹sides of the entrance were five cubits on each side. He also measured ²the length of the sanctuary, ^aforty cubits, and the width, ^btwenty cubits. 3 Then he went ^1ainside and measured each ^bside pillar of the doorway, two cubits, and the doorway, six cubits high; and the width of the doorway, seven cubits. 4 And he measured its length, ^atwenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the ^bsanctuary; and he said to me, “This is the ^cMost Holy Place.”

5 Then he measured the wall of the ¹temple, six cubits; and the width of the ^aside chambers, four cubits, all around the house on every side. 6 ^aThe side chambers were in three stories, ¹one above another, and ²thirty in each story; and ³the side chambers ^bextended to the wall which stood on ⁴their inward side all around, so that they could be attached, but not be attached to the wall of the temple itself. 7 And the side chambers surrounding the temple were wider at each successive story. Because the ^astructure surrounding the temple went upward by stages on all sides of the temple, for that reason the width of the temple increased as it went higher; and so one went up from the lowest story to the highest by way of the ¹second story. 8 I saw also that the house had a raised ¹platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers were a full ²rod of ^asix ³long cubits in height. 9 The ¹thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits. But the ^afree space between the side chambers belonging to the temple 10 and the outer ^achambers was twenty cubits in width around the temple on every side. 11 The ¹doorways of the side ²chambers toward the ^afree space consisted of one doorway toward the north, and another doorway toward the south; and the width of the ^bfree space was five cubits all around.

12 The ^abuilding that was in front of the ^bseparate area at the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits ¹thick all around, and its length was ninety cubits.

13 Then he measured the temple, a ^ahundred cubits long; the ^bseparate area with the ^cbuilding and its walls were also a ^dhundred cubits long. 14 Also the width of the front of the temple and that of the separate ¹areas along the east side totaled a hundred cubits.

15 And he measured the length of the ^abuilding ¹along the front of the ^bseparate area behind it, with a ^2cgallery on each side, a hundred cubits; he also measured the inner sanctuary and the porches of the courtyard. 16 The ^athresholds, the ^1blatticed windows, and the ^2cgalleries all around their ^dthree stories, opposite the threshold, were ^epaneled with wood all around, and from the ground to the windows (but the windows were covered), 17 over the entrance, and to the inner house, and on the outside, and on all the wall all around inside and outside, by measurement. 18 It was ¹carved with ^acherubim and ^bpalm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces: 19 a ^ahuman face toward the palm tree on one side and a young ^blion’s face toward the palm tree on the other side; they were ¹carved on all the house all around. 20 From the ground to above the entrance ^acherubim and ^bpalm trees were ¹carved, as well as on the wall of the sanctuary.

21 The ^adoorposts of the ^bsanctuary were square; as for the front of the inner ¹sanctuary, the appearance of one doorpost was like that of the other. 22 The ^aaltar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits; its corners, its ¹base, and its ²sides were of wood. And he said to me, “This is the ^btable that is before the LORD.” 23 The ^asanctuary and the inner ^1bsanctuary each had a double ^cdoor. 24 Each of the doors had two leaves, two ^1aswinging leaves; two leaves for one door and two leaves for the other. 25 Also there were ¹carved on them, on the doors of the main room, ^acherubim and ^bpalm trees like those ²carved on the walls; and there was a ^3cthreshold of wood on the front of the porch outside. 26 And there were ^1alatticed windows and ^bpalm trees on one side and on the other, on the sides of the ^cporch; the same were on the ^dside chambers of the house and the ²thresholds.
