Y tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog, y di: «Así dice el Señor DIOS¹: “He aquí, yo estoy contra ti, Gog, príncipe de Ros, Mesec², y Tubal^a. 2 Te haré dar vuelta y te empujaré, te recogeré de las partes remotas del norte y te traeré contra los montes de Israel. 3 Romperé el arco de tu mano^a izquierda, y derribaré las saetas de tu mano derecha. 4 Sobre los montes de Israel caerás, tú y todas tus tropas y los pueblos que están contigo. Te daré por comida a toda clase¹ de ave de rapiña y a las bestias del campo^a. 5 Sobre el campo abierto¹ caerás; porque soy yo el que ha hablado”—declara el Señor DIOS. 6 “Enviaré fuego^a sobre Magog y sobre los que habitan seguros en las costas; y sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR^b.

7 ”Mi santo nombre daré a conocer en medio de mi pueblo Israel^a, y nunca más permitiré que mi santo nombre sea profanado^b; y sabrán las naciones que yo soy el SEÑOR^c, el Santo en Israel^d. 8 He aquí que viene y se cumplirá”—declara el Señor DIOS. “Este es el día del cual he hablado.

9 ”Entonces saldrán los habitantes de las ciudades de Israel y harán hogueras^a con las armas, y quemarán escudos, paveses, arcos y saetas, mazas y lanzas, y harán fuego con ellos^b durante siete años. 10 No tomarán leña del campo ni la recogerán de los bosques, porque harán hogueras con las armas; despojarán a sus despojadores^a y saquearán a sus saqueadores”—declara el Señor DIOS.

11 “Y sucederá en aquel día que daré a Gog un lugar para sepultura allí en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al oriente del mar, y cortará el paso a los viajeros. Allí enterrarán a Gog con toda su multitud, y lo llamarán el valle de Hamón-gog¹. 12 Durante siete meses la casa de Israel los estará enterrando para limpiar la tierra^a. 13 Todo el pueblo de la tierra los enterrará; y será para ellos memorable el día en que yo me glorifique^a”—declara el Señor DIOS^b. 14 “Y escogerán hombres que constantemente recorran la tierra y entierren a los que pasen, a los que queden sobre la superficie de la tierra, para limpiarla^a. Al cabo de siete meses harán un reconocimiento. 15 Y cuando pasen los que recorran la tierra, el que vea un hueso humano, pondrá¹ señal junto a él, hasta que los sepultureros lo entierren en el valle de Hamón-gog. 16 Y el nombre de la ciudad será Hamona¹; y dejarán limpia la tierra”».

17 En cuanto a ti, hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor DIOS: «Di a toda clase¹ de ave y a toda bestia del campo^a: “Congregaos y venid, juntaos de todas partes al sacrificio que voy a preparar para vosotros, un gran sacrificio sobre los montes de Israel, y comeréis carne y beberéis sangre^b. 18 Comeréis carne de poderosos y beberéis sangre de los príncipes de la tierra^a, como si fueran carneros, corderos, machos cabríos^b y toros^c, engordados todos en Basán^d. 19 Comeréis grosura hasta que os hartéis, y beberéis sangre hasta que os embriaguéis, del sacrificio que he preparado para vosotros. 20 Os hartaréis a mi mesa de caballos y jinetes, de poderosos y de todos los hombres de guerra^a”—declara el Señor DIOS.

21 “Y pondré mi gloria entre las naciones; y todas las naciones verán el juicio que he hecho y mi mano que he puesto sobre ellos^a. 22 Y sabrá la casa de Israel que yo soy el SEÑOR su Dios^a desde ese día en adelante. 23 Y sabrán las naciones que la casa de Israel fue al cautiverio por su iniquidad porque actuaron pérfidamente contra mí^a; escondí, pues, mi rostro de ellos^b, los entregué en manos de sus adversarios y todos ellos cayeron a espada. 24 Conforme a su inmundicia y conforme a sus transgresiones, así los traté^a, y de ellos escondí mi rostro”».

25 Por tanto, así dice el Señor DIOS: Ahora restauraré el bienestar¹ de Jacob^a, y tendré misericordia de toda la casa de Israel^b, y me mostraré celoso de mi santo nombre^c. 26 Y ellos olvidarán¹ su ignominia y todas las infidelidades que cometieron contra mí^a, cuando habiten seguros en su tierra sin que nadie los atemorice^b. 27 Cuando yo los traiga de entre los pueblos y los reúna de las tierras de sus enemigos^a, seré santificado en ellos ante los ojos de muchas naciones^b. 28 Entonces sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR su Dios, porque los hice ir al cautiverio entre las naciones, y después los reuní de nuevo en su propia tierra, sin dejar allí a ninguno de ellos. 29 No les ocultaré más mi rostro, porque habré derramado mi Espíritu sobre la casa de Israel—declara el Señor DIOS^a.

“And ^ayou, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, ‘This is what the Lord ¹GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; 2 and I will turn you around, lead you on a rope, take you up from the remotest parts of the north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. 3 Then I will ^astrike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows fall from your right hand. 4 You will ^afall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as ^bfood to every ¹kind of predatory bird and animal of the field. 5 You will fall on the ¹open field; for it is I who have spoken,” declares the Lord GOD. 6 “And I will send ^afire upon Magog and those who inhabit the ^bcoastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.

7 “And I will make My ^aholy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not allow My holy name to be ^bprofaned anymore. But the ^cnations will know that I am the LORD, the ^dHoly One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is coming and it shall be done,” declares the Lord GOD. “That is the day of which I have spoken.

9 “Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will ^ago out and make ^bfires with the weapons and burn them, both ¹bucklers and shields, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them. 10 They will not take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will take the spoils of those who plundered them and seize the ^aplunder of those who plundered them,” declares the Lord GOD.

11 “On that day I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block the way of those who would pass by. So they will bury Gog there with all his horde, and they will call it the Valley of ¹Hamon-gog. 12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to ^acleanse the land. 13 And all the people of the land will bury them; and it will be ¹to their ^arenown on the day that I ^bappear in My glory,” declares the Lord GOD. 14 “They will also select men who will constantly pass through the land, ^aburying those who were passing through, those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will conduct a search. 15 As those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a human bone, then he will ¹set up a marker by it until the burial detail has buried it in the Valley of ²Hamon-gog. 16 And even the name of the city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land.”’

17 “Now as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Say to every ¹kind of ^abird and to every ^banimal of the field: “Assemble and come, gather from every direction to My sacrifice, which I am going to ^csacrifice for you as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel; and you will eat flesh and drink blood. 18 You will ^aeat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the leaders of the earth, as though they were ^brams, lambs, goats, and ^cbulls, all of them fattened livestock of ^dBashan. 19 So you will eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20 You will eat your fill at My table with ^ahorses and charioteers, with warriors and all the men of war,” declares the Lord GOD.

21 “And I will place My ^aglory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them. 22 And the house of Israel will ^aknow that I am the LORD their God, from that day onward. 23 The nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their ^awrongdoing, because they were disloyal to Me, and I ^bhid My face from them; so I handed them over to their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword. 24 ^aIn accordance with their uncleanness and their offenses I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.”’”

25 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “Now I will ^arestore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the ^bhouse of Israel; and I will be ^cjealous for My holy name. 26 They will ^1aforget their disgrace and all their ²treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they ^blive securely on their own land with ^cno one to make them afraid. 27 When I ^abring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall ^bshow Myself holy ¹through them in the sight of the many nations. 28 Then they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. 29 I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have ^apoured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD.
