^aY el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Mira, he llamado por nombre a Bezaleel, hijo de Uri, hijo de Hur^a, de la tribu de Judá. 3 Y lo he llenado del Espíritu de Dios en sabiduría, en inteligencia, en conocimiento y en toda clase de arte^a, 4 para elaborar¹ diseños, para trabajar en oro, en plata y en bronce², 5 y en el labrado de piedras para engaste, y en el tallado de madera; a fin de que trabaje en toda clase de labor. 6 Mira, yo mismo he nombrado¹ con él a Aholiab, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan^a; y en el corazón de todos los que son hábiles² he puesto habilidad³ a fin de que hagan todo lo que te he mandado: 7 la tienda de reunión^a, el arca del testimonio^b, el propiciatorio^c sobre ella y todo el mobiliario del tabernáculo; 8 también la mesa y sus utensilios¹, el candelabro de oro puro^a con todos sus utensilios^2b y el altar del incienso^c; 9 el altar del holocausto^a también con todos sus utensilios¹ y la pila con su base^b; 10 asimismo las vestiduras tejidas¹, las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón^a y las vestiduras de sus hijos, para ministrar como sacerdotes; 11 también el aceite de la unción, y el incienso aromático para el lugar santo^a. Los harán conforme a todo lo que te he mandado.

12 Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 13 Habla, pues, tú a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: «De cierto guardaréis mis días de reposo^a, porque esto es una señal entre yo y vosotros por todas vuestras generaciones, a fin de que sepáis que yo soy el SEÑOR que os santifico^b. 14 Por tanto, habéis de guardar el día de reposo porque es santo para vosotros. Todo el que lo profane morirá irremisiblemente; porque cualquiera que haga obra alguna en él^a, esa persona será cortada de entre su pueblo¹. 15 Durante seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo día será día de completo reposo^a, santo al SEÑOR. Cualquiera que haga obra alguna en el día de reposo morirá^b irremisiblemente^c. 16 Los hijos de Israel guardarán, pues, el día de reposo, celebrándolo¹ por todas sus generaciones como pacto perpetuo». 17 Es una señal entre yo y los hijos de Israel para siempre^a; pues en seis días el SEÑOR hizo los cielos y la tierra, y en el séptimo día cesó de trabajar y reposó^b.

18 Y cuando terminó de hablar con Moisés sobre el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del testimonio, tablas de piedra, escritas por el dedo de Dios^a.

^aNow the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the ^ason of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 And I have ^afilled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of ¹craftsmanship, 4 to create ¹artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in ²bronze, 5 and in the cutting of stones ¹for settings, and in the carving of wood, so that he may work in all kinds of ²craftsmanship. 6 And behold, I Myself have ¹appointed with him ^aOholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are ²skillful I have put ³skill, so that they may make everything that I have commanded you: 7 ^athe tent of meeting, ^bthe ark of testimony, ^cthe ¹atoning cover that is on it, and all the furniture of the tent, 8 ^athe table and its ¹utensils, the ^bpure gold lampstand with all its ²utensils, and ^cthe altar of incense, 9 ^athe altar of burnt offering with all its ¹utensils, and ^bthe basin and its stand, 10 the ^1awoven garments as well: the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, with which to ²carry out their priesthood; 11 ^athe anointing oil also, and the ^bfragrant incense for the Holy Place, they are to make them according to everything that I have commanded you.”

12 Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Now as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘^aYou must keep My Sabbaths; for this is ^ba sign between Me and you throughout your generations, so that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you. 14 Therefore you are to keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. ^aEveryone who profanes it must be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 ^aFor six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a ^bSabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD; ^cwhoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death. 16 So the sons of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to ¹celebrate the Sabbath throughout their generations as a permanent covenant.’ 17 ^aIt is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; ^bfor in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed.”

18 When He had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses ^athe two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, ^bwritten by the finger of God.
