Entonces me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué^a, que estaba delante del ángel del SEÑOR; y Satanás¹ estaba a su derecha para acusarlo^b. 2 Y el ángel del SEÑOR¹ dijo a Satanás: El SEÑOR te reprenda, Satanás^a. Repréndate el SEÑOR que ha escogido a Jerusalén^b. ¿No eseste un tizón arrebatado del fuego^c? 3 Y Josué estaba vestido de ropas sucias^a, en pie delante del ángel. 4 Yeste habló, y dijo a los que estaban delante de él¹: Quitadle las ropas sucias^a. Y a él le dijo: Mira, he quitado de ti tu iniquidad^b y te vestiré² de ropas de gala^c. 5 Después dijo¹: Que le pongan un turbante limpio en la cabeza. Y le pusieron un turbante limpio en la cabeza y le vistieron con ropas de gala^a; y el ángel del SEÑOR estaba allí².

6 Entonces el ángel del SEÑOR amonestó a Josué, diciendo: 7 Así dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos: «Si andas en mis caminos, y si guardas mis ordenanzas, también tú gobernarás mi casa^a; además tendrás a tu cargo mis atrios y te daré libre acceso^1b entreestos que están aquí^c. 8 Escucha ahora, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan ante ti, que son hombres de presagio^a, pues he aquí, yo voy a traer a mi siervo, el Renuevo^b. 9 Porque he aquí la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué, sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos^a. He aquí, yo grabaré una inscripción en ella»—declara el SEÑOR de los ejércitos— «y quitaré la iniquidad^b de esta tierra en un solo día. 10 Aquel día»—declara el SEÑOR de los ejércitos— «convidaréis cada uno a su prójimo bajo su parra y bajo su higuera^a».

Then he showed me ^aJoshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and ^1bSatan standing at his right to accuse him. 2 And the LORD said to Satan, “^aThe LORD rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD who has ^bchosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a ^clog snatched from the fire?” 3 Now Joshua was clothed in ^afilthy garments and was standing before the angel. 4 And he responded and said to those who were standing before him, saying, “^aRemove the filthy garments from him.” Again he said to him, “See, I have ^btaken your guilt away from you and ¹will ^cclothe you with festive robes.” 5 Then I said, “Have them put a clean ^aheadband on his head.” So they put the clean headband on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the LORD was standing by.

6 And the angel of the LORD admonished Joshua, saying, 7 “The LORD of armies says this: ‘If you ^awalk in My ways and perform My service, then you will both ^bgovern My house and be in charge of My ^ccourtyards, and I will grant you ¹free access among these who are standing here.

8 Now listen, Joshua, you high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you—indeed they are men who are a ^asign: for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the ^1bBranch. 9 For behold, the stone that I have put before Joshua; on one stone are ^aseven eyes. Behold, I am going to engrave an inscription on it,’ declares the LORD of armies, ‘and I will ^bremove the guilt of that land in one day. 10 On that day,’ declares the LORD of armies, ‘every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his ^avine and under his fig tree.’”

Then he showed me ^aJoshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and ^1bSatan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 The LORD said to Satan, “^aThe LORD rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD who has ^bchosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a ^cbrand plucked from the fire?” 3 Now Joshua was clothed with ^afilthy garments and standing before the angel. 4 He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, “^aRemove the filthy garments from him.” Again he said to him, “See, I have ^btaken your iniquity away from you and ¹will ^cclothe you with festal robes.” 5 Then I said, “Let them put a clean ^aturban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the LORD was standing by.

6 And the angel of the LORD admonished Joshua, saying, 7 “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘If you will ^awalk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also ^bgovern My house and also have charge of My ^ccourts, and I will grant you ¹free access among these who are standing here.
