El reino del Ungido del SEÑOR
¿Por qué se sublevan las naciones1a,y los pueblos traman cosas vanasb?2 Se levantan los reyes de la tierraa,y los gobernantes traman unidoscontra el SEÑORb y contra su Ungido1c, diciendo:3 ¡Rompamos sus cadenas1ay echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas!
4 Él que se sienta como Rey en los cielos se ríea,el Señor se burla de ellosb.5 Luego les hablará en su iraa,y en su furor los aterraráb, diciendo:6 Pero yo mismo he consagrado1 a mi Reyasobre Sión, mi santo monteb.
7 Ciertamente anunciaré el decreto del SEÑORque me dijo1: «Mi Hijo eres tú,yo te he engendrado hoya.8 »Pídeme, y te daréa las naciones1 como herencia tuyab,y como posesión tuya los confines de la tierrac.9 »Tú los quebrantarás1 con vara2 de hierroa;los desmenuzarás como vaso de alfarerob».
10 Ahora pues, oh reyes, mostrad discernimientoa;recibid amonestación, oh jueces1 de la tierra.11 Adorad1 al SEÑOR con reverencia2a,y alegraos con temblorb.12 Honrad1 al Hijoa para que no se enoje y perezcáis en el camino,pues puede inflamarse de repente su ira.¡Cuán bienaventurados son todos los que en Él se refugianb!

Why are athe 1nations restlessAnd the peoples bplotting in vain?2 The akings of the earth take their standAnd the rulers conspire togetherbAgainst the LORD and against His 1cAnointed, saying,3 “Let’s atear their shackles apartAnd throw their ropes away from us!”
4 He who 1sits in the heavens alaughs,The Lord bscoffs at them.5 Then He will speak to them in His aangerAnd bterrify them in His fury, saying,6 “But as for Me, I have installed aMy KingUpon Zion, bMy holy mountain.”
7 “I will announce the 1decree of the LORD:He said to Me, ‘You are aMy Son,Today I have fathered You.8 ‘Ask it of Me, and aI will certainly give bthe 1nations as Your inheritance,And the cends of the earth as Your possession.9 ‘You shall 1abreak them with a 2rod of iron,You shall bshatter them like 3earthenware.’”
10 Now then, you kings, ause insight;Let yourselves be instructed, you 1judges of the earth.11 Serve the LORD with 1areverenceAnd rejoice with btrembling.12 1Kiss athe Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way,For bHis wrath may be kindled quickly.How blessed are all who ctake refuge in Him!

Why are athe 1nations in an uproarAnd the peoples bdevising a vain thing?2 The akings of the earth take their standAnd the rulers take counsel togetherbAgainst the LORD and against His 1cAnointed, saying,3 “Let us atear their fetters apartAnd cast away their cords from us!”
4 He who 1sits in the heavens alaughs,The Lord bscoffs at them.5 Then He will speak to them in His aangerAnd bterrify them in His fury, saying,6 “But as for Me, I have 1installed aMy KingUpon Zion, bMy holy mountain.”
7 “I will surely tell of the 1decree of the LORD:He said to Me, ‘You are aMy Son,Today I have begotten You.8 ‘Ask of Me, and aI will surely give bthe 1nations as Your inheritance,And the very cends of the earth as Your possession.9 ‘You shall 1abreak them with a 2rod of iron,You shall bshatter them like 3earthenware.’”
10 Now therefore, O kings, ashow discernment;Take warning, O 1judges of the earth.11 1Worship the LORD with 2areverenceAnd rejoice with btrembling.12 1Do homage to athe Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,For bHis wrath may 2soon be kindled.How blessed are all who ctake refuge in Him!
