Habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Di a Aarón y a sus hijos que tengan cuidado con las cosas sagradas que los hijos de Israel me consagran, para que no profanen mi santo nombre; yo soy el SEÑOR. 3 Diles: «Si alguno de entre vuestros descendientes¹ en todas vuestras generaciones, se acerca a las cosas sagradas que los hijos de Israel consagran al SEÑOR, estando inmundo^2a, esa persona será cortada de mi presencia. Yo soy el SEÑOR. 4 Ningún varón de los descendientes¹ de Aarón que sea leproso, o que tenga flujo, podrá comer de las cosas sagradas hasta que sea limpio^a. Y si alguno toca alguna cosa contaminada² por un cadáver^b, o si un hombre tiene una emisión seminal^c, 5 si alguno toca ciertos animales^1a por los cuales se pueda contaminar, o a cualquier hombre que lo contamine, cualquiera que sea su inmundicia, 6 la persona¹ que toque a cualquiera deestos quedará inmunda hasta el atardecer; no comerá de las cosas sagradas a menos que haya lavado su cuerpo² con agua. 7 Cuando el sol se ponga quedará limpio, y después comerá de las cosas sagradas, porque son su alimento^1a. 8 No comerá animal que muera o sea despedazado por fieras, contaminándose por ello^a; yo soy el SEÑOR. 9 Guardarán, pues, mi ordenanza^a para que no se carguen de pecado por ello, y mueran porque la profanen; yo soy el SEÑOR que los santifico^b.

10 »Ningún extraño¹ comerá cosa sagrada^a; ni huésped del sacerdote, ni jornalero comerán cosa sagrada. 11 Pero si un sacerdote compra con su dinero un esclavo¹ como propiedad suya,este sí puede comer de ella, y también los nacidos en su casa podrán comer de su alimento^a. 12 Y si la hija del sacerdote se casa con un extraño¹, ella no comerá de la ofrenda² de las cosas sagradas. 13 Pero si la hija del sacerdote queda viuda o se divorcia, y no tiene hijo y regresa a la casa de su padre como en su juventud, podrá comer del alimento de su padre; pero ningún extraño¹ comerá de él^a. 14 Y si un hombre come inadvertidamente cosa sagrada, entonces añadirá a ella una quinta parte^a y restituirá la cosa sagrada al sacerdote. 15 Los sacerdotes no profanarán las cosas sagradas que los hijos de Israel^a ofrecen al SEÑOR, 16 causándoles así sufrir castigo por la culpa¹ al comer sus cosas sagradas; porque yo soy el SEÑOR que los santifico^a».

17 Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo: 18 Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos y a todos los hijos de Israel, y diles: «Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel o de los forasteros en Israel, que presente su ofrenda, ya sea de sus ofrendas votivas¹ o de sus ofrendas voluntarias, las cuales presenta al SEÑOR como holocausto^a, 19 para que os sea aceptada,esta debe ser macho sin defecto^a del ganado, de los corderos o de las cabras. 20 Lo que tenga defecto, no ofreceréis, porque no os será aceptado^a. 21 Cuando alguno ofrezca sacrificio de ofrenda de paz al SEÑOR para cumplir un voto especial¹ o como ofrenda voluntaria, del ganado o del rebaño^a, tiene que ser sin defecto para ser aceptado; no habrá imperfección en él. 22 Los que estén ciegos, quebrados, mutilados, o con llagas purulentas, sarna o roña, no los ofreceréis al SEÑOR, ni haréis de ellos una ofrenda encendida sobre el altar al SEÑOR. 23 En cuanto al buey o carnero que tenga un miembro deformado o atrofiado, podréis presentarlo como ofrenda voluntaria, pero por voto no será aceptado. 24 También cualquier animal con sus testículos magullados, aplastados^a, rasgados o cortados, no lo ofreceréis al SEÑOR ni lo sacrificaréis¹ en vuestra tierra; 25 tampoco aceptaréis tales animales de mano de un extranjero por ofrenda como alimento para vuestro Dios^a; porque su corrupción está en ellos, tienen defecto y no os serán aceptados».

26 Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 27 Cuando nazca un ternero, un cordero o un cabrito, quedará¹ siete días con² su madre, y desde el octavo día^a en adelante será aceptable como sacrificio de ofrenda encendida al SEÑOR. 28 Mas, ya sea vaca u oveja, no mataréis a ella y a su cría^a en el mismo día. 29 Y cuando ofrezcáis sacrificio de acción de gracias^a al SEÑOR, lo sacrificaréis para que seáis aceptados. 30 Lo comeréis en el mismo día, no dejaréis nada de él para la mañana siguiente; yo soy el SEÑOR. 31 Así, pues, guardaréis mis mandamientos y los cumpliréis^a; yo soy el SEÑOR. 32 No profanaréis mi santo nombre, sino que seré santificado entre los hijos de Israel; yo soy el SEÑOR que os santifico, 33 que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto^a para ser vuestro Dios; yo soy el SEÑOR.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the LORD. 3 Say to them, ‘^aAny man among all your ¹descendants throughout your generations who approaches the holy gifts which the sons of Israel consecrate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from My presence; I am the LORD. 4 ^aNo man of the ¹descendants of Aaron, who has ²leprosy or has a discharge, may eat of the holy gifts until he is clean. ^bAnd one who touches anything made unclean by a corpse, or ^ca man who has a seminal emission, 5 or ^aa man who touches any swarming things by which he is made unclean, or touches any person by whom he is made unclean, whatever his uncleanness; 6 a ¹person who touches any such thing shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy gifts unless he has bathed his ²body in water. 7 But when the sun sets, he will be clean, and afterward he may eat of the holy gifts, for ^ait is his ¹food. 8 He shall not eat ^aan animal which dies or is torn by animals, becoming unclean by it; I am the LORD. 9 They shall therefore perform their ^aduty to Me, so that ^bthey do not bear sin because of it and die by it because they profane it; I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

10 ‘^aNo ¹layman, however, is to eat the holy gift; a foreign resident with the priest or a hired worker shall not eat the holy gift. 11 ^aBut if a priest buys a ¹slave as his property with his money, ²that person may eat of it, and those who are born in his house may eat of his ³food. 12 If a priest’s daughter is married to a ¹layman, she shall not eat of the ²offering of the holy gifts. 13 But if a priest’s daughter becomes a widow or divorced, and has no child and returns to her father’s house as in her youth, she may eat of her father’s ¹food; ^abut no ²layman shall eat of it. 14 ^aIf, however, someone eats a holy food unintentionally, then he shall add to it a fifth of it and shall give the holy food to the priest. 15 And ^athey shall not profane the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they offer to the LORD, 16 and thereby ^abring upon them ¹punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.’”

17 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 18 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and to all the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘^aAnyone of the house of Israel or of the strangers in Israel who presents his offering, whether it is any of their ¹vows or any of their ²voluntary offerings, which they present to the LORD as a burnt offering— 19 ^afor you to be accepted—it must be a male without defect ¹from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats. 20 ^aWhatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you. 21 When someone offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD ^ato fulfill a special vow or for a ¹voluntary offering, ²of the herd or ³of the flock, it must be without defect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it. 22 Those that are blind, fractured, maimed, or have a wart, a festering rash, or scabs, you shall not offer to the LORD, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the LORD. 23 Now as for an ox or a lamb which has an ¹overgrown or stunted member, you may present it as a ²voluntary offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted. 24 Also ^aanything with its testicles squashed, crushed, torn off, or cut off, you shall not offer to the LORD, nor ¹sacrifice in your land, 25 nor shall you offer any of these animals taken from the hand of a ¹foreigner ^aas the ²food of your God; for their deformity is in them, they have an impairment. They will not be accepted for you.’”

26 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall ¹remain ^aseven days ²with its mother, and from the eighth day on it will be considered acceptable as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the LORD. 28 ^aBut, whether it is an ox or a sheep, you shall not slaughter both it and its young in one day. 29 When you sacrifice ^aa sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted. 30 It shall be eaten on the same day; you shall leave none of it until morning. I am the LORD. 31 ^aSo you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the LORD.

32 “And you shall not profane My holy name, but I will be sanctified among the sons of Israel; I am the LORD who sanctifies you, 33 ^awho brought you out from the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the LORD.”

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the LORD. 3 Say to them, ‘^aIf any man among all your ¹descendants throughout your generations approaches the holy gifts which the sons of Israel dedicate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from before Me; I am the LORD. 4 ^aNo man of the ¹descendants of Aaron, who is a leper or who has a discharge, may eat of the holy gifts until he is clean. ^bAnd if one touches anything made unclean by a corpse or if ^ca man has a seminal emission, 5 or ^aif a man touches any teeming things by which he is made unclean, or any man by whom he is made unclean, whatever his uncleanness; 6 a ¹person who touches any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy gifts unless he has bathed his ²body in water. 7 But when the sun sets, he will be clean, and afterward he shall eat of the holy gifts, for ^ait is his ¹food. 8 He shall not eat ^aan animal which dies or is torn by beasts, becoming unclean by it; I am the LORD. 9 They shall therefore keep ^aMy charge, so that ^bthey will not bear sin because of it and die thereby because they profane it; I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

10 ‘^aNo ¹layman, however, is to eat the holy gift; a sojourner with the priest or a hired man shall not eat of the holy gift. 11 ^aBut if a priest buys a ¹slave as his property with his money, ²that one may eat of it, and those who are born in his house may eat of his ³food. 12 If a priest’s daughter is married to a ¹layman, she shall not eat of the ²offering of the gifts. 13 But if a priest’s daughter becomes a widow or divorced, and has no child and returns to her father’s house as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s ¹food; ^abut no ²layman shall eat of it. 14 ^aBut if a man eats a holy gift unintentionally, then he shall add to it a fifth of it and shall give the holy gift to the priest. 15 ^aThey shall not profane the holy gifts of the sons of Israel which they offer to the LORD, 16 and so cause them ^ato bear ¹punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.’”

17 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 18 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘^aAny man of the house of Israel or of the aliens in Israel who presents his offering, whether it is any of their ¹votive or any of their freewill offerings, which they present to the LORD for a burnt offering— 19 ^afor you to be accepted—it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats. 20 ^aWhatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you. 21 When a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD ^ato ¹fulfill a special vow or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it. 22 Those that are blind or fractured or maimed or having a running sore or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the LORD, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the LORD. 23 In respect to an ox or a lamb which has an ¹overgrown or stunted member, you may present it for a freewill offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted. 24 Also ^aanything with its testicles bruised or crushed or torn or cut, you shall not offer to the LORD, or ¹sacrifice in your land, 25 nor shall you accept any such from the hand of a foreigner for offering ^aas the ¹food of your God; for their corruption is in them, they have a defect, they shall not be accepted for you.’”

26 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall ¹remain ^aseven days ²with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be accepted as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the LORD. 28 ^aBut, whether it is an ox or a sheep, you shall not kill both it and its young in one day. 29 When you sacrifice ^aa sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted. 30 It shall be eaten on the same day, you shall leave none of it until morning; I am the LORD. 31 ^aSo you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the LORD.
