Juicio de las naciones

¹Porque he aquí que en aquellos días y en aquel tiempo^a,cuando yo restaure el bienestar² de Judá y Jerusalén^b,2 reuniré a todas las naciones^a,y las haré bajar al valle de Josafat¹^b.Y allí entraré en juicio con ellas^ca favor de mi pueblo y mi heredad, Israel,a quien ellas esparcieron entre las naciones^d,y repartieron mi tierra^e.3 También echaron suertes sobre mi pueblo^a,cambiaron¹ un niño por una ramera,y vendieron una niña por vino para poder beber^b.

4 Además, ¿qué tenéis que ver conmigo, Tiro^a, Sidón^b y todas las regiones de Filistea^c? ¿Os queréis vengar de mí? Si de esta manera os vengáis de mí, bien pronto haré volver vuestra venganza sobre vuestra cabeza^d. 5 Por cuanto habéis tomado mi plata y mi oro, y os habéis llevado mis valiosos¹ tesoros a vuestros templos^a, 6 y habéis vendido los hijos de Judá y Jerusalén a los griegos¹ para alejarlos de su territorio^a, 7 he aquí, yo los levantaré del lugar donde los vendisteis^a, y devolveré vuestra venganza sobre vuestra cabeza. 8 También venderé vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas a¹ los hijos de Judá^a, y ellos los venderán a los sabeos^b, a una nación lejana—porque el SEÑOR lo ha dicho.

9 Proclamad esto entre las naciones^a:Preparaos para¹ la guerra^b, despertad a los valientes;acérquense, suban todos los soldados^c.10 Forjad espadas de vuestras rejas de aradoy lanzas de vuestras podaderas^a;diga el débil: Fuerte soy^b.11 Apresuraos y venid, naciones todas de alrededor,y reuníos allí^a.Haz descender, oh SEÑOR, a tus valientes^b.12 Despiértense y suban las nacionesal valle de Josafat¹^a,porque allí me sentaré a juzgara todas las naciones de alrededor^b.13 Meted la hoz, que la mies está madura^a;venid, pisad, que el lagar está lleno^b;las tinajas¹ rebosan, porque grande es su maldad^c.14 Multitudes, multitudes en el valle de la decisión¹^a.Porque cerca está el día del SEÑOR^b en el valle de la decisión²^c.15 El sol y la luna se oscurecen,y las estrellas pierden su resplandor^a.16 El SEÑOR ruge desde Sión^ay desde Jerusalén da su voz^b,y tiemblan los cielos y la tierra^c.Pero el SEÑOR es refugio para su pueblo^dy fortaleza para los hijos de Israel^e.17 Entonces sabréis que yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios^a,que habito en Sión, mi santo monte^b.Y Jerusalén será santa^c,y los extranjeros no pasarán más por ella^d.

Restauración de Judá

18 Y sucederá que en aquel díalos montes destilarán vino dulce^a,las colinas manarán leche^b,y por todos los arroyos de Judá correrán las aguas^c;brotará un manantial de la casa del SEÑOR^dy regará el valle de Sitim¹.19 Egipto será una desolación,y Edom será un desierto desolado,por la violencia hecha a¹ los hijos de Judá^a,en cuya tierra han derramado sangre inocente.20 Pero Judá será habitada para siempre^a,y Jerusalén por todas las generaciones.21 Y yo vengaré su sangre^a, que aún no he vengado,pues el SEÑOR habita en Sión.

The Nations Will Be Judged

“¹For behold, ^ain those days and at that time,When I ^brestore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,2 I will ^agather all the nationsAnd bring them down to the ^bValley of ¹Jehoshaphat.Then I will ^center into judgment with them thereOn behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel,Whom they have ^dscattered among the nations;And they have ^edivided up My land.3 “They have also ^acast lots for My people,¹^bTraded a boy for a prostitute,And sold a girl for wine so that they may drink.

4 Moreover, what are you to Me, ^aTyre, Sidon, and all the regions of ^bPhilistia? Are you repaying Me with retribution? But if you are showing Me retribution, swiftly and speedily I will ^creturn your retribution on your head! 5 Since you have ^ataken My silver and My gold, brought My precious ¹treasures to your temples, 6 and sold the ^asons of Judah and Jerusalem to the ¹Greeks in order to remove them far from their territory, 7 behold, I am going to ^astir them up from the place where you have sold them, and return your retribution on your head. 8 I will also ^asell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to the ^bSabeans, to a distant nation,” for the LORD has spoken.

9 ^aProclaim this among the nations:^bPrepare for holy war; ^cstir up the warriors!Have all the soldiers come forward, have them come up!10 ^aBeat your plowshares into swords,And your pruning hooks into spears;^bLet the weak man say, “I am a warrior.”11 ¹^aHurry and come, all you surrounding nations,And gather yourselves there.Bring down, LORD, Your ^bwarriors.12 Let the nations be awakenedAnd come up to the ^aValley of ¹Jehoshaphat,For there I will sit to ^bjudgeAll the surrounding nations.13 ^aPut in the sickle, for the ^bharvest is ripe.Come, ^ctread the grapes, for the ^dwine press is full;The vats overflow, for their ^ewickedness is great.14 ^aMultitudes, multitudes in the ^bvalley of ¹decision!For the ^cday of the LORD is near in the valley of ²decision.15 The ^asun and moon have become dark,And the stars have lost their brightness.16 The LORD ^aroars from ZionAnd ^butters His voice from Jerusalem,And the ^cheavens and the earth quake.But the LORD is a ^drefuge for His people,And a ^estronghold for the sons of Israel.17 Then you will ^aknow that I am the LORD your God,Dwelling on Zion, My ^bholy mountain.So Jerusalem will be ^choly,And ^dstrangers will no longer pass through it.

Judah Will Be Blessed

18 And on that dayThe ^amountains will drip with ¹sweet wine,And the hills will ^bflow with milk,And all the ^cbrooks of Judah will flow with water;And a ^dspring will go out from the house of the LORDAnd water the Valley of ²Shittim.19 Egypt will become a wasteland,And Edom will become a desolate wilderness,Because of the ^aviolence ¹done to the sons of Judah,In whose land they have shed innocent blood.20 But Judah will be ^ainhabited forever,And Jerusalem for all generations.21 And I will ^aavenge their blood which I have not avenged,For the LORD dwells in Zion.

The Nations Will Be Judged

But if you do recompense Me, swiftly and speedily I will ^creturn your recompense on your head. 5 Since you have ^ataken My silver and My gold, brought My precious ¹treasures to your temples, 6 and sold the ^asons of Judah and Jerusalem to the ¹Greeks in order to remove them far from their territory, 7 behold, I am going to ^aarouse them from the place where you have sold them, and return your recompense on your head. 8 Also I will ^asell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to the ^bSabeans, to a distant nation,” for the LORD has spoken.
