Vi al Señor de pie junto al altara, y me dijo:Golpea los capiteles y que se estremezcan los umbralesb,y rómpelos sobre la cabeza de todosc.Entonces mataré a espada al resto de ellosd;no habrá entre ellos fugitivo que huyae,ni refugiado de ellos que escape.

2 Aunque caven hasta el Seol1a,de allí los tomará mi mano;y aunque suban al cielo,de allí los haré bajarb.3 Aunque se escondan en la cumbre del Carmelo,allí1 los buscaré y los tomaréa;aunque se oculten de2 mis ojos en el fondo del marb,allí3 ordenaré a la serpiente que los muerdac.4 Aunque vayan al cautiverio delante de sus enemigos,allí1 ordenaré a la espada que los matea,y pondré sobre ellos mis ojos para mal y no para bienb.
5 El Señor, DIOS1 de los ejércitos:el que toca la tierraa, yesta se derriteb,y se lamentan todos los que en ella habitan,sube toda ella como el Nilocy mengua como el Nilo de Egipto;6 el que edifica en los cielos sus altos aposentos1a,y sobre la tierra ha establecido su bóveda;el que llama a las aguas del mary las derrama sobre la faz de la tierrab:el SEÑOR es su nombrec.
7 ¿No sois vosotros para mí como hijos de Etiopía1a,oh hijos de Israel?—declara el SEÑOR.¿No hice yo subir a Israel de la tierra de Egiptoby a los filisteos de Caftorc y a los arameos de Kird?8 He aquí, los ojos del Señor DIOS están sobre el reino pecadora,y yo lo destruiré de sobre la faz de la tierrab;sin embargo, no destruiré totalmente a la casa de Jacobc—declara el SEÑOR.9 Porque he aquí, yo daré un mandato,y zarandearé a la casa de Israel entre todas las naciones,como se zarandea el grano en la cribaa,sin que caiga ni un grano1 en tierra.10 A espada morirán todos los pecadores de mi puebloa,los que dicen: «No nos alcanzará ni se nos acercará la desgraciab».

11 En aquel día levantaré el tabernáculo1 caído de Davida,repararé sus brechasb,levantaré sus ruinas,y lo reedificaré como en tiempo pasadoc,12 para que tomen posesióna del remanente de Edomby de todas las naciones1 donde se invoca mi nombrec—declara el SEÑOR, que hace esto.
13 He aquí, vienen días—declara el SEÑOR—cuando el arador alcanzará al segador,y el que pisa la uva al que siembra la semillaa;cuando destilarán vino dulce los montesb,y todas las colinas se derretirán.14 Restauraré el bienestar1 de mi pueblo Israela,y ellos reedificarán las ciudades asoladasb y habitarán en ellasc;también plantarán viñasd y beberán su vino,y cultivarán2 huertos y comerán sus frutos.15 Los plantaré en su tierra,y no serán arrancados jamás de la tierraque les he dadoa—dice el SEÑOR tu Dios.

I saw the Lord standing beside the aaltar, and He said,“Strike the pillar capitals so that the bthresholds will shake,And cbreak them on the heads of them all!Then I will dput to death the rest of them with the sword;They will enot have a fugitive who will flee,Nor a survivor who will escape.

2 “Though they dig into aSheol,From there My hand will take them;And though they bascend to heaven,From there I will bring them down.3 “And though they hide on the summit of Carmel,I will atrack them down and take them from there;And though they bhide themselves from My sight on the bottom of the sea,I will command the cserpent from there, and it will bite them.4 “And though they go into acaptivity before their enemies,From there I will command the sword and it will kill them,And I will bset My eyes against them for harm and not for good.”
5 The Lord 1GOD of armies,The One who atouches the land so that it quakes,And ball those who live in it mourn,And all of it rises up like the NileAnd subsides like the Nile of Egypt;6 The One who builds His aupper chambers in the heavensAnd has founded His vaulted dome over the earth,He who bcalls for the waters of the seaAnd cpours them out on the face of the earth,dThe LORD is His name.
7 “Are you not as the sons of aEthiopia to Me,You sons of Israel?” declares the LORD.“Have I not brought up Israel from the land of Egypt,And the bPhilistines from Caphtor and the cArameans from dKir?8 “Behold, the aeyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom,And I will beliminate it from the face of the earth;Nevertheless, I will cnot totally eliminate the house of Jacob,”Declares the LORD.9 “For behold, I am commanding,And I will ashake the house of Israel among all nationsAs grain is shaken in a sieve,But not a pebble will fall to the ground.10 “All the asinners of My people will die by the sword,Those who say, ‘bThe catastrophe will not overtake or confront us.’

11 “On that day I will araise up the fallen 1bshelter of David,And wall up its cgaps;I will also raise up its ruinsAnd rebuild it as in the ddays of old;12 aSo that they may 1possess the remnant of bEdomAnd all the 2nations who are ccalled by My name,”Declares the LORD who does this.
13 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD,“When the aplowman will overtake the reaper,And the one who treads grapes will overtake him who sows the seed;When the bmountains will drip grape juice,And all the hills will come apart.14 “I will also arestore the fortunes of My people Israel,And they will brebuild the desolated cities and live in them;They will also cplant vineyards and drink their wine,And make gardens and eat their fruit.15 “I will also plant them on their land,And athey will not be uprooted again from their landWhich I have given them,”Says the LORD your God.
