Entonces habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Manda a los hijos de Israel y diles: «Cuando entréis en la tierra de Canaán, esta es la tierra que os tocará como herencia, la tierra de Canaán^a según sus fronteras. 3 Vuestro límite¹ sur será desde el desierto de Zin, por la frontera de Edom, y vuestra frontera sur será desde el extremo del mar Salado^a hacia el oriente^b. 4 Luego, vuestra frontera cambiará de dirección, del sur a la subida de Acrabim y continuará a¹ Zin, y su término² será al sur de Cades-barnea^a; y llegará a Hasaradar y continuará hasta³ Asmón. 5 Y la frontera cambiará de dirección de Asmón al torrente de Egipto, y su término será el mar^a.

6 »En cuanto a la frontera occidental, tendréis¹ el mar Grande, esto es, su costa²; esta será vuestra frontera occidental.

7 »Y esta será vuestra frontera norte: trazaréis la línea fronteriza desde el mar Grande hasta el monte Hor^a. 8 Trazaréis una línea desde el monte Hor hasta Lebo-hamat^1a, y el término de la frontera será Zedad; 9 y la frontera seguirá hacia Zifrón, y su término será Hazar-enán. Esta será vuestra frontera norte.

10 »Para vuestra frontera oriental, trazaréis también una línea desde Hazar-enán hasta Sefam, 11 y la frontera descenderá de Sefam a Ribla^a, sobre el lado oriental de Aín; y la frontera descenderá y alcanzará la ribera¹ sobre el lado oriental del mar de Cineret^b. 12 Y la frontera descenderá al Jordán, y su término será el mar Salado. Esta será vuestra tierra, según sus fronteras alrededor».

13 Entonces Moisés dio órdenes a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esta es la tierra que repartiréis por sorteo entre vosotros como posesión, la cual el SEÑOR ha ordenado dar a las nueve tribus y a la media tribu^a. 14 Pues la tribu de los hijos de Rubén ha recibido lo suyo según sus casas paternas, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad según sus casas paternas y la media tribu de Manasés han recibido su posesión^a. 15 Las dos tribus y la media tribu han recibido su posesión al otro lado del Jordán, frente a Jericó, al oriente, hacia la salida del sol.

16 Entonces habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 17 Estos son los nombres de los hombres que os repartirán la tierra por heredad: el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun^a. 18 De cada tribu tomarás un jefe para repartir la tierra por heredad. 19 Y estos son los nombres de los hombres: de la tribu de Judá^a, Caleb, hijo de Jefone^b. 20 De la tribu de los hijos de Simeón^a, Semuel, hijo de Amiud. 21 De la tribu de Benjamín^a, Elidad, hijo de Quislón. 22 De la tribu de los hijos de Dan, un jefe: Buqui, hijo de Jogli. 23 De los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, un jefe: Haniel, hijo de Efod. 24 De la tribu de los hijos de Efraín, un jefe: Kemuel, hijo de Siftán. 25 De la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, un jefe: Elizafán, hijo de Parnac. 26 De la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, un jefe: Paltiel, hijo de Azán. 27 De la tribu de los hijos de Aser, un jefe: Ahiud, hijo de Selomi. 28 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, un jefe: Pedael, hijo de Amiud. 29 Estos son los que el SEÑOR mandó que repartieran la heredad a los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter ^athe land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance, that is, the land of Canaan according to its borders. 3 ^aYour southern region shall ¹extend from the wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom, and your southern border shall ²extend from the end of the Salt Sea ^beastward. 4 Then your border shall change direction from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim and ¹continue to Zin, and its ²termination shall be to the south of ^aKadesh-barnea; and it shall ³reach Hazaraddar and ⁴continue to Azmon. 5 Then the border shall change direction from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and its termination shall be at ^athe sea.

6 ‘As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea, that is, its ¹coastline; this shall be your western border.

7 ‘^aAnd this shall be your northern border: you shall draw your boundary from the Great Sea to Mount Hor. 8 You shall draw a boundary from Mount Hor to ^athe ¹Lebo-hamath, and the termination of the border shall be at Zedad; 9 and the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and its termination shall be at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern border.

10 ‘For your eastern border you shall also draw a boundary from Hazar-enan to Shepham, 11 and the border shall go down from Shepham to ^aRiblah on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down and reach to the slope on the east side of the Sea of ^bChinnereth. 12 And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its termination shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders on all sides.’”

13 So Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, “^aThis is the land that you are to possess by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine and a half tribes. 14 ^aFor the tribe of the sons of Reuben have received theirs according to their fathers’ households, and the tribe of the sons of Gad according to their fathers’ households, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their possession. 15 The two and a half tribes have received their possession across the Jordan opposite Jericho, eastward toward the sunrise.”

16 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “^aThese are the names of the men who shall assign the land to you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. 18 And you shall take one leader of each tribe to assign the land as an inheritance. 19 These are the names of the men: of the tribe of ^aJudah, ^bCaleb the son of Jephunneh. 20 Of the tribe of the sons of ^aSimeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud. 21 Of the tribe of ^aBenjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. 22 And of the tribe of the sons of Dan, a leader, Bukki the son of Jogli. 23 Of the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, a leader, Hanniel the son of Ephod. 24 Of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, a leader, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. 25 Of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, a leader, Elizaphan the son of Parnach. 26 Of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, a leader, Paltiel the son of Azzan. 27 Of the tribe of the sons of Asher, a leader, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. 28 Of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, a leader, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.” 29 These are the ones whom the LORD commanded to apportion the inheritance to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter ^athe land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders. 3 ^aYour southern ¹sector shall ²extend from the wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom, and your southern border shall ³extend from the end of the Salt Sea ^beastward. 4 Then your border shall turn direction from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim and ¹continue to Zin, and its ²termination shall be to the south of ^aKadesh-barnea; and it shall ³reach Hazaraddar and ⁴continue to Azmon. 5 The border shall turn direction from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and its termination shall be at ^athe sea.

6 ‘As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea, that is, its ¹coastline; this shall be your west border.

7 ‘^aAnd this shall be your north border: you shall draw your border line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor. 8 You shall draw a line from Mount Hor to ^athe ¹Lebo-hamath, and the termination of the border shall be at Zedad; 9 and the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and its termination shall be at Hazar-enan. This shall be your north border.

10 ‘For your eastern border you shall also draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham, 11 and the border shall go down from Shepham to ^aRiblah on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down and reach to the ¹slope on the east side of the Sea of ^bChinnereth. 12 And the border shall go down to the Jordan and its termination shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders all around.’”

13 So Moses commanded the sons of Israel, saying, “^aThis is the land that you are to apportion by lot among you as a possession, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine and a half tribes. 14 ^aFor the tribe of the sons of Reuben have received theirs according to their fathers’ households, and the tribe of the sons of Gad according to their fathers’ households, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their possession. 15 The two and a half tribes have received their possession across the Jordan opposite Jericho, eastward toward the sunrising.”

16 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “^aThese are the names of the men who shall apportion the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. 18 You shall take one leader of every tribe to apportion the land for inheritance. 19 These are the names of the men: of the tribe of ^aJudah, ^bCaleb the son of Jephunneh. 20 Of the tribe of the sons of ^aSimeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud. 21 Of the tribe of ^aBenjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. 22 Of the tribe of the sons of Dan a leader, Bukki the son of Jogli. 23 Of the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh a leader, Hanniel the son of Ephod. 24 Of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim a leader, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. 25 Of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun a leader, Elizaphan the son of Parnach. 26 Of the tribe of the sons of Issachar a leader, Paltiel the son of Azzan. 27 Of the tribe of the sons of Asher a leader, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. 28 Of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali a leader, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.” 29 These are those whom the LORD commanded to apportion the inheritance to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the Israelites, ‘When you enter ^athe land of Canaan, this is the land that shall be yours as an inheritance, the land of Canaan according to its boundaries, 3 ^ayour southern region shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom, and your southern boundary from the end of the Salt (Dead) Sea ^beastward. 4 Your boundary shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and continue on to Zin, and its limit shall be south of ^aKadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to Hazar-addar and pass on to Azmon. 5 Then the boundary shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt (Wadi el-arish) , and its limit shall be at ^athe Mediterranean Sea.

6 ‘As the western boundary you shall have the Great Mediterranean Sea and its coastline. This shall be your western boundary.

7 ‘^aAnd this shall be your north border: from the Great Mediterranean Sea mark out your boundary line to ¹Mount Hor; 8 from Mount Hor you shall mark out your boundary to ^athe entrance of Hamath, and the limit of the border shall be at Zedad; 9 then the northern boundary shall go on to Ziphron, and its limit shall be at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern boundary.

10 ‘You shall mark out your eastern boundary from Hazar-enan to Shepham; 11 the eastern boundary shall go down from Shepham to ^aRiblah on the east side of Ain and shall descend and reach to the ¹slope on the east of the Sea of ^bChinnereth the Sea of Galilee; 12 and the eastern boundary shall go down to the Jordan River, and its limit shall be at the Salt (Dead) Sea. This shall be your land according to its boundaries all around.’”

13 So Moses commanded the Israelites, saying, “^aThis is the land you are to inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh, 14 ^afor the tribe of the sons of Reuben and the tribe of the sons of Gad have received their inheritance by their fathers’ households, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their possession. 15 The two and a half tribes have received their inheritance across the Jordan River opposite Jericho, eastward toward the sunrise.”

16 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “^aThese are the names of the men who shall divide the land among you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. 18 You shall take one leader from every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance. 19 These are the names of the men: From the tribe of ^aJudah, ^bCaleb the son of Jephunneh; 20 from the tribe of the sons of ^aSimeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud; 21 from the tribe of ^aBenjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon; 22 from the tribe of the sons of Dan a leader, Bukki the son of Jogli; 23 of the sons of Joseph: from the tribe of the sons of Manasseh a leader, Hanniel the son of Ephod; 24 from the tribe of the sons of Ephraim a leader, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan; 25 from the tribe of the sons of Zebulun a leader, Elizaphan the son of Parnach; 26 from the tribe of the sons of Issachar a leader, Paltiel the son of Azzan; 27 from the tribe of the sons of Asher a leader, Ahihud the son of Shelomi; 28 from the tribe of the sons of Naphtali a leader, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.” 29 These are the twelve men whom the LORD commanded to work with Joshua and Eleazar to divide the inheritance to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.
