Reinado universal de Dios y su juicio

Lo que¹ vio Isaías, hijo de Amoz, concerniente a Judá y Jerusalén^a.

2 ^aY acontecerá en los postreros días,que el monte^b de la casa del SEÑORserá establecido como¹ cabeza de los montes;se alzará sobre los collados,y confluirán a él todas las naciones^c.3 Vendrán muchos pueblos, y dirán:Venid, subamos al monte del SEÑOR,a la casa del Dios de Jacob;para que nos enseñe acerca de sus caminos,y andemos en sus sendas.Porque de Sión saldrá la ley¹,y de Jerusalén la palabra del SEÑOR^a.4 Juzgará entre las naciones,y hará decisiones por¹ muchos pueblos.Forjarán sus espadas en rejas de arado^a,y sus lanzas en podaderas.No alzará espada nación contra nación,ni se adiestrarán más para la guerra^b.

5 Casa de Jacob^a, venid y caminemos a la luz del SEÑOR^b.6 Ciertamente has abandonado a tu pueblo^a, la casa de Jacob,porque están llenos de costumbres del oriente,son adivinos como los filisteos^b,y hacen tratos¹ con hijos de extranjeros^c.7 Se ha llenado su tierra de plata y de oro,y no tienen fin sus tesoros;su tierra se ha llenado de caballos,y no tienen fin sus carros^a.8 También su tierra se ha llenado de ídolos^a;adoran la obra de sus manos^b,lo que han hecho sus dedos.9 Ha sido humillado el hombre común,y ha sido abatido el hombre de importancia^a;pero no los perdones^b.10 Métete en la roca, y escóndete en el polvo^adel terror del SEÑOR y del esplendor de su majestad^b.11 La mirada altiva¹ del hombre será abatida^a,y humillada la soberbia de los hombres^b;el SEÑOR solo será exaltado en aquel día.

12 Porque el día del SEÑOR de los ejércitos vendrácontra todo el que es soberbio y altivo^a,contra todo el que se ha ensalzado,y será abatido.13 Y esto será contra todos los cedros del Líbanoaltos y erguidos,contra todas las encinas de Basán^a,14 contra todos los montes encumbrados^a,contra todos los collados elevados,15 contra toda torre alta^a,contra toda muralla fortificada,16 contra todas las naves de Tarsis^ay contra toda obra de arte preciada.17 Será humillado el orgullo del hombrey abatida la altivez de los hombres;el SEÑOR solo será exaltado en aquel día,18 y los ídolos desaparecerán por completo^a.19 Se meterán los hombres en las cuevas de las rocasy en las hendiduras de la tierra¹,ante el terror del SEÑORy ante el esplendor de su majestad^a,cuando Él se levante para hacer temblar la tierra^b.20 Aquel día el hombre arrojará a los topos y a los murciélagos^a,sus ídolos de plata y sus ídolos de oro^bque se había hecho para adorarlos;21 y se meterá¹ en las cavernas de las rocas y en las hendiduras de las peñas,ante el terror del SEÑOR y ante el esplendor de su majestad,cuando Él se levante para hacer temblar la tierra^a.22 Dejad de considerar al¹ hombre^a, cuyo soplo de vida está en su nariz;pues ¿en qué ha de ser él estimado^b?

The word which ^aIsaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2 Now it will come about that^aIn the last daysThe ^bmountain of the house of the LORDWill be established ¹as the chief of the mountains,And will be raised above the hills;And ^call the nations will stream to it.3 And many peoples will come and say,“Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the LORD,To the house of the God of Jacob;So that He may teach us ¹about His ways,And that we may walk in His paths.”For ²the law will go out ^afrom ZionAnd the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.4 And He will judge between the nations,And will mediate for many peoples;And ^athey will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning knives.^bNation will not lift up a sword against nation,And never again will they learn war.

5 Come, ^ahouse of Jacob, and let’s walk in the ^blight of the LORD.6 For You have ^aabandoned Your people, the house of Jacob,Because they are filled with influences from the east,And they are soothsayers ^blike the Philistines.They also ¹^cstrike bargains with the children of foreigners.7 Their land has also been filled with silver and goldAnd there is no end to their treasures;Their land has also been filled with ^ahorses,And there is no end to their chariots.8 Their land has also been ^afilled with idols;They worship the ^bwork of their hands,That which their fingers have made.9 So ^athe common person has been humbledAnd the person of importance has been brought low,But ^bdo not forgive them.10 ^aEnter the rocky place and hide in the dust^bFrom the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty.11 The ¹^aproud look of humanity will be brought low,And the ^barrogance of people will be humbled;And the LORD alone will be exalted on that day.

A Day of Reckoning Coming

12 For the LORD of armies will have a day of reckoningAgainst ^aeveryone who is arrogant and haughty,And against everyone who is lifted up,That he may be brought low.13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up,Against all the ^aoaks of Bashan,14 Against all the ^alofty mountains,Against all the hills that are lifted up,15 Against every ^ahigh tower,Against every fortified wall,16 Against all the ^aships of TarshishAnd against all the delightful ships.17 And the pride of humanity will be humbledAnd the arrogance of people will be brought low;And the LORD alone will be exalted on that day,18 And the ^aidols will completely vanish.19 People will ^ago into caves of the rocksAnd into holes in the ¹groundAway from the terror of the LORDAnd the splendor of His majesty,When He arises ^bto terrify the earth.20 On that day people will ^athrow away to the moles and the ^bbatsTheir idols of silver and their idols of gold,Which they made for themselves to worship,21 In order to ^ago into the clefts of the rocks and the crannies of the cliffsBefore the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty,When He arises to terrify the earth.22 ¹^aTake no account of man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils;For ²^bwhy should he be esteemed?

12 For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoningAgainst ^aeveryone who is proud and loftyAnd against everyone who is lifted up,That he may be abased.13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up,Against all the ^aoaks of Bashan,14 Against all the ^alofty mountains,Against all the hills that are lifted up,15 Against every ^ahigh tower,Against every fortified wall,16 Against all the ^aships of TarshishAnd against all the beautiful craft.17 The pride of man will be humbledAnd the loftiness of men will be abased;And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day,18 But the ^aidols will completely vanish.19 Men will ^ago into caves of the rocksAnd into holes of the ¹groundBefore the terror of the LORDAnd the splendor of His majesty,When He arises ^bto make the earth tremble.20 In that day men will ^acast away to the moles and the ^bbatsTheir idols of silver and their idols of gold,Which they made for themselves to worship,21 In order to ^ago into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffsBefore the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty,When He arises to make the earth tremble.22 ¹^aStop regarding man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils;For ²^bwhy should he be esteemed?

The word from God which ^aIsaiah son of Amoz saw in a vision concerning the nation of Judah and its capital city Jerusalem.

2 Now it will come to pass that^aIn the last daysThe ^bmountain of the house of the LORDWill be firmly established as the ¹highest of the mountains,And will be exalted above the hills;And ^call the nations will stream to it.3 And many peoples shall come and say,“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,To the house (temple) of the God of Jacob;That He may teach us His waysAnd that we may walk in His paths.”For the law will go out ^afrom ZionAnd the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.4 And He will judge between the nations,And will mediate disputes for many peoples;And ^athey will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.^bNation will not lift up the sword against nation,And never again will they learn war. Mic 4:1-3

5 O ^ahouse of Jacob, come, let us walk in the ^blight of the LORD.6 Most certainly LORD You have ^aabandoned your people, the house of Jacob,Because they are filled with influences from the east,And they are soothsayers who foretell ^blike the Philistines;Also they ^cstrike bargains with the children of foreigners (pagans) . Deut 18:9-127 Their land has also been filled with silver and goldAnd there is no end to their treasures;Their land has also been filled with ^ahorsesAnd there is no end to their chariots. Deut 17:14-178 Their land has also been ^afilled with idols;They worship the ^bwork of their hands,That which their own fingers have made.9 So ^athe common man has been humbled before idolsAnd the man of importance has been degraded,Therefore ^bdo not forgive them O LORD.10 ^aGo among the rocks and hide in the dust^bFrom the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty.11 The ^aproud look of man will be degradedAnd the ^barrogance of men will be humbled,And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.

A Day of Reckoning Coming

12 For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoningAgainst ^aall who are proud and arrogantAnd against all who are lifted up,That they may be degraded. Zeph 2:3; Mal 4:113 And the wrath of God will be against all the cedars of Lebanon west of the Jordan that are high and lifted up,Against all the ^aoaks of Bashan east of the Jordan,14 Against all the ^ahigh mountains,Against all the hills that are lifted up,15 Against every ^ahigh tower,Against every fortified wall,16 Against all the ^aships of TarshishAnd against all the beautiful craft.17 Then the pride of man will be humbledAnd the arrogance of men will be degraded;The LORD alone shall be exalted in that day,18 And the ^aidols will completely vanish (be abolished) .19 They the stricken, deprived of all in which they had trusted will ^ago into the caves of the rocksAnd into the holes of the ground fleeingFrom the terror and dread of the LORDAnd from the splendor of His majesty,When He arises ^bto terrify the earth. Luke 23:3020 In that day men will ^athrow away to the moles and to the ^bbatsTheir idols of silver and their idols of gold,Which they made for themselves as objects to worship,21 To ^ago into the caverns of the rocks and into the clefts of the ragged cliffs as they fleeFrom the terror and dread of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty,When He arises to terrify the earth.22 ^aStop regarding man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils for so little time;For ^bwhy should he be esteemed?
