Y vino a mí la palabra del SEÑOR, diciendo: 2 Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Gog, de la tierra de Magog, príncipe de Ros, Mesec¹ y Tubal^a, y profetiza contra él^b, 3 y di: «Así dice el Señor DIOS¹: “He aquí estoy contra ti, oh Gog, príncipe de Ros, Mesec² y Tubal. 4 Te haré dar vuelta, pondré garfios en tus quijadas y te sacaré con todo tu ejército, caballos^a y jinetes, todos ellos bien equipados^1b; una gran compañía con pavés y escudo, todos ellos empuñando espada; 5 Persia, Etiopía¹ y Fut con ellos, todos con escudo^a y yelmo^b; 6 Gomer con todas sus tropas, Bet-togarmá^a, de las partes remotas del norte, con todas sus tropas^b; muchos pueblos están contigo.

7 ”Disponte y prepárate, tú y toda la multitud que se ha reunido alrededor tuyo^a, y sé para ellos guarda. 8 Al cabo de muchos días^a recibirás órdenes; al fin de los años vendrás a la tierra recuperada de la espada, cuyos habitantes han sido recogidos de muchas naciones^1b en los montes de Israel, que habían sido una desolación continua^c. Este pueblo fue sacado de entre las naciones² y habitan seguros todos ellos^d. 9 Tú subirás y vendrás como una tempestad^a; serás como una nube que cubre la tierra^b, tú y todas tus tropas, y muchos pueblos contigo”.

10 »Así dice el Señor DIOS: “Sucederá en aquel día que pensamientos¹ vendrán a tu mente² y concebirás un plan malvado^a, 11 y dirás: ‘Subiré contra una tierra indefensa^1a. Iré contra los que viven tranquilos, que habitan confiados, que habitan todos ellos sin murallas, sin cerrojos ni puertas^b; 12 para tomar botín y para proceder al saqueo, para volver tu mano contra los lugares desolados, ahora poblados, y contra el pueblo reunido de entre las naciones, que ha adquirido ganado y posesiones, que habita en medio¹ de la tierra^a’. 13 Sabá^a y Dedán, y los mercaderes de Tarsis con todos sus pueblos¹ te dirán^b: ‘¿Has venido para tomar botín? ¿Has reunido tu compañía para saquear, para llevar plata^c y oro, para llevar ganado y posesiones, para tomar gran botín^d?’”».

14 Por tanto, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di a Gog: «Así dice el Señor DIOS: “En aquel día cuando mi pueblo Israel habite seguro^a, ¿no lo sabrás tú? 15 Vendrás de tu lugar de las partes remotas del norte^a, tú y mucha gente contigo, todos montados a caballo, una gran multitud y un poderoso ejército; 16 y subirás contra mi pueblo Israel como una nube para cubrir la tierra. Sucederá en los postreros días que te traeré contra mi tierra, para que las naciones me conozcan cuando yo sea santificado por medio de ti^a ante sus ojos^b, oh Gog”.

17 »Así dice el Señor DIOS: “¿Eres tú aquel de quien hablé en tiempos¹ pasados por medio² de mis siervos los profetas de Israel, que profetizaron en aquellos días, durante años, que yo te traería contra ellos^a? 18 Sucederá en aquel día cuando venga Gog contra la tierra de Israel”—declara el Señor DIOS— “que subirá mi furor y¹ mi ira^a. 19 Y en mi celo y en el fuego de mi furor declaro que ciertamente en aquel día habrá un gran terremoto¹ en la tierra^a de Israel^b. 20 Y los peces del mar, las aves del cielo, las bestias del campo y todos los animales que se arrastran sobre la tierra, y todos los hombres sobre la faz de la tierra temblarán en mi presencia; también se derrumbarán los montes^a, se desplomarán¹ los precipicios^b y todo muro caerá por tierra. 21 Y en todos mis montes llamaré contra él¹ la espada^a”—declara el Señor DIOS. “La espada de cada cual se volverá contra su hermano^b. 22 Con pestilencia y con sangre haré juicio contra él; haré caer una lluvia torrencial¹, de piedras de granizo, fuego^a y azufre^b sobre él, sobre sus tropas, y sobre los muchos pueblos que están con él. 23 Y mostraré mi grandeza y santidad, y me daré a conocer a los ojos de muchas naciones; y sabrán que yo soy el SEÑOR^a”».

Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face toward ^aGog of the land of ^bMagog, the ^cchief prince of ^dMeshech and ^eTubal, and prophesy against him, 3 and say, ‘This is what the Lord ¹GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. 4 So I will turn you around and put hooks into your jaws, and I will ^abring you out, and all your army, ^bhorses and horsemen, all of them magnificently dressed, a great contingent with shield and ¹buckler, all of them wielding swords; 5 ^aPersia, ^1bCush, and ^cPut with them, all of them with buckler and helmet; 6 ^aGomer with all its troops; ^bBeth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.

7 “^aBe ready, and be prepared, you and all your contingents that are assembled around you, and be a guard for them. 8 ^aAfter many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been ^bgathered from many ¹nations to the ^cmountains of Israel which had been a continual place of ruins; but ²its people were brought out from the ³nations, and they are ^dliving securely, all of them. 9 And you will go up, you will come ^alike a storm; you will be like a ^bcloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.”

10 ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “It will come about on that day, that ¹thoughts will come into your mind and you will ^adevise an evil plan, 11 and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of ^1aunwalled villages. I will go against those who are ^bat rest, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates, 12 to ^acapture spoils and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the ruins that are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who live at the ¹center of the world.’ 13 ^aSheba and ^bDedan and the merchants of ^cTarshish with all its ¹villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoils? Have you assembled your contingent to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to capture great ^dspoils?’”’

14 “Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “On that day when My people Israel are ^aliving securely, will you not know it? 15 ^aYou will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding horses, a large assembly and a mighty army; 16 and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may ^aknow Me when I ^bshow Myself holy through you before their eyes, Gog.”

17 ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who ^aprophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them? 18 It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD, “that My fury will mount up in My ^aanger. 19 In My ^azeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will certainly be a great ^1bearthquake in the land of Israel. 20 ^aThe fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the crawling things that crawl on the earth, and all mankind who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; and the ^bmountains will be thrown down, the steep pathways will ¹collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a ^asword against ¹him on all My mountains,” declares the Lord GOD. “^bEvery man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 With plague and with blood I will enter into ^ajudgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, ¹a torrential rain, ^bhailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and ^amake Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.”’

And the word of the LORD came to me saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face toward ^aGog of the land of ^bMagog, the ¹prince of ^cRosh, ^dMeshech and ^eTubal, and prophesy against him 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord ¹GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, ²prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. 4 I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will ^abring you out, and all your army, ^bhorses and horsemen, all of them ¹splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; 5 ^aPersia, ^1bEthiopia and ^cPut with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 ^aGomer with all its troops; ^bBeth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.

7 “^aBe prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them. 8 ^aAfter many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been ^bgathered from many ¹nations to the ^cmountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but ²its people were brought out from the ³nations, and they are ^dliving securely, all of them. 9 You will go up, you will come ^alike a storm; you will be like a ^bcloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.”

10 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “It will come about on that day, that ¹thoughts will come into your mind and you will ^adevise an evil plan, 11 and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of ^1aunwalled villages. Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great ^dspoil?’”’

14 “Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “On that day when My people Israel are ^aliving securely, will you not know it? 15 ^aYou will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; 16 and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may ^aknow Me when I am ^bsanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog.”

17 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who ^aprophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them? 18 It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD, “that My fury will mount up in My ^aanger. 19 In My ^azeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great ^1bearthquake in the land of Israel. 20 ^aThe fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the ^bmountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will ¹collapse and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will call for a ^asword against ¹him on all My mountains,” declares the Lord GOD. “^bEvery man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 With pestilence and with blood I will enter into ^ajudgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, ¹a torrential rain, with ^bhailstones, fire and brimstone. 23 I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and ^amake Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.”’

And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against ^aGog of the land of ^bMagog, the ^cchief ruler of ^dMeshech and ^eTubal, and prophesy against him, 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief ruler of Meshech and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around and put hooks into your jaws, and I will ^abring you out, and all your army, ^bhorses and horsemen, all of them magnificently clothed in full armor, a great horde with ¹buckler (small shield) and large shield, all of them wielding swords; 5 ^aPersia (Iran) , ^bCush (Ethiopia) , and ^cPut (Libya, N. Africa) with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 ^aGomer and all its troops; ^bBeth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north and all its troops—many peoples with you.

7 “You Gog ^abe prepared; prepare yourself, you and all your hordes that are assembled around you, and be a guard and a lookout for them. 8 ^aAfter many days you will be summoned for service; in the latter years you shall come into the land that is restored from the ravages of the sword, where people have been ^bgathered out of many nations to the ^cmountains of Israel, which had been a continual wasteland; but its people were brought out of the nations, and they are ^dliving securely, all of them. Is 24:22 9 You will go up against them, you will come ^alike a storm; you shall be like a ^bcloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.”

10 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “It will come about on that day that thoughts will come into your mind, and you will ^adevise an evil plan, 11 and you will say, ‘I will go up against an ^aopen country; I will come against those who are ^bat rest and peaceful, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having neither bars nor gates, 12 to ^atake spoil and seize plunder, to turn your hand against the ruins which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the ¹center of the world Israel.’ 13 ^aSheba and ^bDedan and the merchants of ^cTarshish (southern Spain) , with all its young lions (villages) will say to you, ‘Have you come to take spoil? Have you assembled your hordes of fighting men to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great ^dspoil?’”’

14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “On that day when My people Israel ^alive securely, will you not become aware of it and become active? 15 ^aYou will come from your place in the remote parts of the north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding horses, a great horde, and a mighty army; 16 and you will go up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. In the last days it will come about that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may ^aknow Me when I ^bshow Myself holy through you before their eyes, O Gog.”

17 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants, the prophets of Israel, who ^aprophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you (Gog) against them? 18 It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My wrath will rise and ^ashow on My face. 19 In My ^azeal and in My blazing rage I declare that on that day there will most certainly be a ¹great ^bearthquake in the land of Israel, 20 so that ^athe fishes of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the creatures that crawl on the earth, and all the men that are on the face of the earth will tremble and shake at My presence; the ^bmountains will crumble, the steep places will fall, and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will call for a ^asword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “^bEvery man’s (invading soldier’s) sword will be against his brother (ally) in panic and confusion. 22 With pestilence and with bloodshed I will enter into ^ajudgment with Gog; and I will rain on him torrents of rain with great ^bhailstones, ¹fire and brimstone on his hordes and on the many nations that are with him. Ps 11:6 23 Thus I shall magnify Myself and demonstrate My greatness and sanctify Myself, and I will be ^arecognized and will make Myself known in the sight of many nations; they will know without any doubt that I am the LORD.”’
