Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Una plaga más traeré sobre Faraón y sobre Egipto, después de la cual os dejará ir de aquí. Cuando os deje ir, ciertamente os echará de aquí completamente^a. 2 Di ahora al¹ pueblo que cada hombre pida a su vecino y cada mujer a su vecina objetos de plata y objetos de oro^a. 3 Y el SEÑOR hizo que el pueblo se ganara el favor¹ de los egipcios^a. Además el mismo Moisés era muy estimado² en la tierra de Egipto, tanto a los ojos de los siervos de Faraón como a los ojos del pueblo^b. 4 Y Moisés dijo: Así dice el SEÑOR: «Como a medianoche^a yo pasaré¹ por toda² la tierra de Egipto, 5 y morirá todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito de Faraón que se sienta en su trono, hasta el primogénito de la sierva que está detrás del molino¹; también todo primogénito del ganado^a. 6 Y habrá gran clamor en toda la tierra de Egipto^a, como nunca antes lo ha habido y como nunca más lo habrá. 7 Pero a ninguno de los hijos de Israel ni siquiera un perro le ladrará¹, ni a hombre ni a animal, para que entendáis² cómo el SEÑOR hace distinción entre Egipto e Israel^a». 8 Y descenderán a mí todos estos tus siervos y se inclinarán ante mí, diciendo: «Sal, tú y todo el pueblo que te sigue¹»; y después de esto yo saldré^a. Y Moisés salió ardiendo en ira de la presencia de Faraón^b.

9 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Faraón no os escuchará^a, para que mis maravillas se multipliquen en la tierra de Egipto^b. 10 Y Moisés y Aarón hicieron todas estas maravillas en presencia de Faraón^a; con todo, el SEÑOR endureció¹ el corazón de Faraón, yeste no dejó salir de su tierra a los hijos de Israel^b.

Now the LORD said to Moses, “One more plague I will bring on Pharaoh and on Egypt; ^aafter that he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will assuredly drive you out from here completely. 2 Speak now ¹so that the people hear, that ^aeach man is to ask of his neighbor, and each woman of her neighbor, articles of silver and articles of gold.” 3 And ^athe LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. ^bFurthermore, the man Moses himself was ¹greatly esteemed in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.

4 Then Moses said, “This is what the LORD says: ‘About ^amidnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, 5 and ^aall the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the millstones; all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 So there shall be ^aa great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been before and such as shall never be again. 7 ^aBut not even a dog will ¹threaten any of the sons of Israel, nor anything from person to animal, so that you may ²learn how the LORD distinguishes between Egypt and Israel.’ 8 And ^aall these servants of yours will come down to me and bow themselves ¹before me, saying, ‘Go out, you and all the people who ²follow you,’ and after that I will go out.” ^bAnd he left Pharaoh in the heat of anger.

9 Then the LORD said to Moses, “^aPharaoh will not listen to you, so ^bthat My wonders will be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” 10 So ^aMoses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh; yet ^bthe LORD ¹hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.

Now the LORD said to Moses, “One more plague I will bring on Pharaoh and on Egypt; ^aafter that he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out from here completely. 2 Speak now in the ¹hearing of the people that ^aeach man ask from his neighbor and each woman from her neighbor for articles of silver and articles of gold.” 3 ^aThe LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. ^bFurthermore, the man Moses himself was ¹greatly esteemed in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.

4 Moses said, “Thus says the LORD, ‘About ^amidnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, 5 and ^aall the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the millstones; all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 Moreover, there shall be ^aa great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been before and such as shall never be again. 7 ^aBut against any of the sons of Israel a dog will not even ¹bark, whether against man or beast, that you may ²understand how the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’ 8 ^aAll these your servants will come down to me and bow themselves ¹before me, saying, ‘Go out, you and all the people who ²follow you,’ and after that I will go out.” ^bAnd he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.

9 Then the LORD said to Moses, “^aPharaoh will not listen to you, so ^bthat My wonders will be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” 10 ^aMoses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh; yet ^bthe LORD ¹hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.

Then the LORD said to Moses, “I will bring yet one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt; ^aafter that he will let you go. When he lets you go, he will most certainly drive you out of here completely. 2 Speak so that all of the people of Israel may hear, and tell ^aevery man to ask from his neighbor, and every woman to ask from her neighbor, articles of silver, and articles of gold.” 3 ^aThe LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. ^bMoreover, the man Moses was greatly esteemed in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.

4 Then Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘At ^amidnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, 5 and ^aall the firstborn in the land the pride, hope, and joy of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the hand-mill, and all the firstborn of cattle as well. 6 There shall be ^aa great cry of heartache and sorrow throughout the land of Egypt, such as has never been before and such as shall never be again. 7 ^aBut not even a dog will ¹threaten any of the Israelites, whether man or animal, so that you may know without any doubt and acknowledge how the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’ 8 ^aAll these servants of yours will come down to me and bow down before me, saying, ‘Get out, you and all the people who follow you.’ After that I will leave.” ^bAnd he left Pharaoh in the heat of anger.

9 Then the LORD said to Moses, “^aPharaoh will not listen to you, so ^bthat My wonders (miracles) may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” 10 ^aMoses and Aaron did all these wonders (miracles) before Pharaoh; yet ^bthe LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the Israelites go out of his land.
