En aquel tiempo se levantará Miguel, el gran príncipe^a que vela sobre¹ los hijos de tu pueblo. Será un tiempo de angustia^b cual nunca hubo desde que existen las naciones hasta entonces; y en ese tiempo tu pueblo será librado^c, todos los que se encuentren inscritos en el libro^d. 2 Y muchos de los que duermen en el polvo de la tierra despertarán^a, unos para la vida eterna, y otros para la ignominia, para el desprecio eterno^b. 3 Los entendidos¹ brillarán^a como el resplandor del firmamento, y los que guiaron a muchos^b a la justicia, como las estrellas, por siempre jamás. 4 Pero tú, Daniel, guarda en secreto estas palabras y sella el libro hasta el tiempo del fin^a. Muchos correrán de aquí para allá, y el conocimiento aumentará^b.

5 Entonces yo, Daniel, miré, y he aquí otros dos estaban de pie, uno a este lado del río, y el otro al otro lado del río. 6 Y uno de ellos dijo al hombre vestido de lino^a que estaba sobre las aguas del río^b: ¿Para¹ cuándo será el fin de estas maravillas^c? 7 Y oí al hombre vestido de lino, que estaba sobre las aguas del río, que levantando su mano derecha y su mano izquierda al cielo, juró por aquel que vive para siempre^a, que será por un tiempo¹, tiempos² y la mitad de un tiempo^3b; y cuando se termine la destrucción del poder⁴ del pueblo santo, se cumplirán todas estas cosas^c. 8 Yo oí, pero no pude entender. Entonces dije: Señor mío, ¿cuál será el resultado¹ de estas cosas? 9 Y él respondió: Anda, Daniel, porque estas palabras están cerradas y selladas hasta el tiempo del fin^a. 10 Muchos serán purificados, emblanquecidos y refinados^a; los impíos procederán impíamente^b, y ninguno de los impíos comprenderá, pero los entendidos¹ comprenderán^c. 11 Y desde el tiempo en que el sacrificio perpetuo sea abolido y puesta la abominación de la desolación^1a, habrá mil doscientos noventa días. 12 Bienaventurado el que espere^a y llegue a mil trescientos treinta y cinco días^b. 13 Mas tú, sigue hasta el fin¹; descansarás^a y te levantarás para recibir tu heredad^2b al fin de los días.

“Now at that time ^aMichael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a ^btime of distress ^csuch as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the ^dbook, will be rescued. 2 And ^amany of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, ^bthese to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting ¹contempt. 3 And ¹those who have ^ainsight will ^bshine like the glow of the ²expanse of heaven, and those who ^3clead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4 But as for you, Daniel, ^akeep these words secret and ^bseal up the book until the ^cend of time; ^dmany will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the stream and the other on that bank of the stream. 6 And ^asomeone said to the man ^bdressed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, “^cHow long will it be until the end of these wonders?” 7 And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, ¹as he ^araised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by ^bHim who lives forever that it would be for a ^2ctime, ³times, and half a ⁴time; and as soon as ⁵they finish ^dsmashing the ⁶power of the holy people, all these events will be completed. 8 But as for me, I heard but did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the ¹outcome of these events?” 9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words will be kept secret and ^asealed up until the end time. 10 ^aMany will be purged, ¹cleansed, and refined, but the ^bwicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but ²those who ^chave insight will understand. 11 And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the ^aabomination ¹of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 ^aBlessed is the one who is patient and attains to the ^b1,335 days! 13 But as for you, go your way to the ¹end; then you will ^arest and ²rise for your ^ballotted portion at the end of the ³age.”

“Now at that end time ^aMichael, the great angelic prince who stands guard over the children of your people, will arise. And there will be a ^btime of distress ^csuch as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; but at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the ^1dBook of Life, will be rescued. 2 ^aMany of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake (resurrect) , ^bthese to everlasting life, but some to disgrace and everlasting contempt (abhorrence) . John 5:29 3 Those who are spiritually ^awise will ^bshine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who ^clead many to righteousness, will shine like the stars forever and ever. Matt 13:43 4 But as for you, Daniel, ^aconceal these words and ^bseal up the scroll until the ^cend of time. ^dMany will go back and forth and search anxiously through the scroll, and knowledge of the purpose of God as revealed by His prophets will greatly increase.” Amos 8:12

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, there stood two others, the one angel on this bank of the river and the other angel on that bank of the river. 6 And ^aone said to the man ^bdressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “^cHow long will it be until the end of these wonders?” Dan 10:5 7 And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he ^aheld up his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and swore by ^bHim who lives forever that it would be for a ^ctime, times, and a half a time (three and a half years) ; and as soon as they finish ^dshattering and crushing the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished. 8 As for me, I heard, but I did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?” 9 And the angel said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are concealed and ^asealed up until the end of time. 10 ^aMany will be purged, purified (made white) and refined, but the ^bwicked will behave wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who ^care spiritually wise will understand. Dan 11:33-35 11 From the time that the regular sacrifice that is, the daily burnt offering is taken away and the ^aabomination of desolation is set up ruining the temple for worship of the true God, there will be ¹1,290 days. Dan 11:31 12 ^aHow blessed happy, fortunate, spiritually prosperous and beloved is he who waits expectantly enduring without wavering for the period of tribulation and comes to the ^1b1,335 days! 13 But as for you (Daniel) , go your way until the end of your ¹life; for you will ^arest and rise again for your ^ballotted inheritance at the end of the age.” Heb 11:32-40
