Judas^a, siervo de Jesucristo^b y hermano de Jacobo¹, a los llamados^c, amados² en Dios Padre y guardados para Jesucristo^d: 2 Misericordia, paz y amor^a os sean multiplicados^b.

3 Amados^a, por el gran empeño que tenía en escribiros acerca de nuestra común salvación^b, he sentido la necesidad de escribiros exhortándoos a contender ardientemente^c por la fe^d que de una vez para siempre fue entregada^e a los santos^f. 4 Pues algunos hombres se han infiltrado encubiertamente^a, los cuales desde mucho antes estaban marcados^1b para esta condenación, impíos que convierten la gracia de nuestro Dios^c en libertinaje^d, y niegan a nuestro único Soberano y Señor, Jesucristo^e.

5 Ahora quiero recordaros^a, aunque ya definitivamente¹ lo sepáis todo^b, que el Señor², habiendo salvado al³ pueblo de la tierra de Egipto^c, destruyó después⁴ a los que no creyeron. 6 Y a los ángeles que no conservaron su señorío original^a, sino que abandonaron su morada legítima, los ha guardado en prisiones¹ eternas^b, bajo tinieblas para el juicio del gran día. 7 Así también Sodoma y Gomorra^a y las ciudades circunvecinas^b, a semejanza deaquellos, puesto que ellas¹ se corrompieron² y siguieron carne extraña^c, son exhibidas como ejemplo^d al sufrir el castigo del fuego eterno^3e. 8 No obstante, de la misma manera también estos hombres, soñando, mancillan la carne, rechazan la autoridad y blasfeman de las majestades angélicas^1a. 9 Pero cuando el arcángel^a Miguel^b contendía con el diablo y disputaba acerca del cuerpo de Moisés^c, no se atrevió a proferir juicio de maldición contra él, sino que dijo: El Señor te reprenda^d. 10 Masestos blasfeman las cosas que no entienden^a, y las cosas que como animales irracionales^b conocen por instinto^c, por estas cosas son ellos destruidos¹. 11 ¡Ay de ellos! Porque han seguido el camino de Caín^a, y por lucro se lanzaron al¹ error de Balaam^b, y perecieron en la rebelión de Coré^c. 12 Estos son escollos ocultos¹ en vuestros ágapes^a, cuando banquetean con vosotros sin temor^b, apacentándose a sí mismos; son nubes sin agua^c llevadas por los vientos^d, árboles de otoño sin fruto, dos veces muertos y desarraigados^e; 13 son olas furiosas del mar^a, que arrojan como espuma su propia vergüenza^1b; estrellas errantes para quienes la oscuridad de las tinieblas ha sido reservada para siempre^c. 14 Deestos también profetizó Enoc^a, en la séptima generación desde Adán, diciendo: He aquí, el Señor vino con muchos millares de sus santos^1b, 15 para ejecutar juicio sobre todos^a, y para condenar a todos los impíos¹ de todas sus obras de impiedad, que han hecho impíamente, y de todas las cosas ofensivas² que pecadores impíos dijeron contra Él^b. 16 Estos son murmuradores^a, quejumbrosos, que andan tras sus propias pasiones^b; hablan¹ con arrogancia^c, adulando a la gente para obtener beneficio^d.

17 Pero vosotros, amados^a, acordaos de las palabras que antes fueron dichas^b por los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo^c, 18 quienes os decían¹: En los últimos tiempos habrá burladores^a que irán tras sus propias pasiones impías^b. 19 Estos son los que causan divisiones; individuos mundanos¹ que no tienen el Espíritu^a. 20 Pero vosotros, amados^a, edificándoos^b en vuestra santísima fe, orando en el Espíritu Santo^c, 21 conservaos en el amor de Dios, esperando ansiosamente la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para vida eterna^a. 22 Y tened misericordia de¹ algunos que dudan; 23 a otros, salvad, arrebatándolos del fuego^a; y de otros tened misericordia con temor, aborreciendo aun la ropa contaminada por la carne^b.

24 Y a aquel que es poderoso^a para guardaros sin caída¹ y para presentaros sin mancha en presencia de su gloria^b con gran alegría^c, 25 al único^a Dios nuestro Salvador^b, por medio de Jesucristo nuestro Señor, sea gloria, majestad, dominio y autoridad^c, antes de todo tiempo, y ahora y por todos los siglos^d. 3 ^aBeloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our ^bcommon salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you ^ccontend earnestly for ^dthe faith that was once for all time ^ehanded down to ^fthe ¹saints. 4 For certain people have ^acrept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand ^1bmarked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn ^cthe grace of our God into ^dindecent behavior and ^edeny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

5 Now I want to ^aremind you, though ^byou know everything once and for all, that ¹the Lord, ^cafter saving a people out of the land of Egypt, ²subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And ^aangels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling place, these He has ^bkept in eternal restraints under darkness for the judgment of the great day, 7 just as ^aSodom and Gomorrah and the ^bcities around them, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in sexual perversion and ^cwent after ¹strange flesh, are exhibited as an ^2dexample in undergoing the ^epunishment of eternal fire.

8 Yet in the same way these people also, dreaming, ^adefile the flesh, reject authority, and speak abusively of angelic ¹majesties. 9 But ^aMichael ^bthe archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about ^cthe body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said, “^dThe Lord rebuke you!” 10 But ^athese people disparage all the things that they do not understand; and ^ball the things that they know by instinct, ^clike unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone ^athe way of Cain, and for pay ¹they have given themselves up to ^bthe error of Balaam, and ^cperished in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are the ones who are ¹hidden reefs ^ain your love feasts when they feast with you ^bwithout fear, like shepherds caring only for themselves; ^cclouds without water, ^dcarried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, ²doubly dead, ^euprooted; 13 ^awild waves of the sea, churning up ^btheir own shameful deeds like dirty foam; wandering stars, ^cfor whom the ¹gloom of darkness has been reserved forever.

14 It was also about these people that ^aEnoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “^bBehold, the Lord has come with ¹many thousands of His holy ones, 15 ^ato execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ^bungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” 16 These are ^agrumblers, finding fault, ^bfollowing after their own lusts; ¹they speak ^carrogantly, flattering people ^dfor the sake of gaining an advantage.

17 But you, ^abeloved, ^bought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by ^cthe apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 that they were saying to you, “^aIn the last time there will be mockers, ^bfollowing after their own ungodly lusts.” 19 These are the ones who cause divisions, ^1aworldly-minded, ²devoid of the Spirit. 20 But you, ^abeloved, ^bbuilding yourselves up on your most holy ^cfaith, ^dpraying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, ^alooking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23 save others, ^asnatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, ^bhating even the garment polluted by the flesh.

24 ^aNow to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to ^bmake you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with ^cgreat joy, 25 to the ^aonly ^bGod our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, ^cbe glory, majesty, dominion, and authority ^dbefore all time and now and ¹forever. Amen.

To ^cthose who are the called (God’s chosen ones, the elect) , dearly loved by God the Father, and ^dkept secure and set apart for Jesus Christ: 2 ^aMay mercy and peace and love ^bbe multiplied to you filling your heart with the spiritual well-being and serenity experienced by those who walk closely with God.

3 ^aBeloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our ^bcommon salvation, I was compelled to write to you urgently appealing that you ^1cfight strenuously for the defense of ^dthe faith which was once for all ^2ehanded down to ^fthe saints the faith that is the sum of Christian belief that was given verbally to believers. 4 For certain people have ^acrept in unnoticed just as if they were sneaking in by a side door. They are ungodly persons whose ^bcondemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort ^cthe grace of our God into ^ddecadence and immoral freedom viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want, and ^edeny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

5 Now I want to ^aremind you, although ^byou are fully informed once for all, that ¹the Lord, ^cafter saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe who refused to trust and obey and rely on Him. Num 14:27-37 6 And ^aangels who did not keep their own designated place of power, but abandoned their proper dwelling place, these He has ^bkept in eternal chains under the thick gloom of utter darkness for the judgment of the great day, 7 just as ^aSodom and Gomorrah and the ^badjacent cities, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in gross immoral freedom and unnatural vice and ^csensual perversity. They are exhibited in plain sight as an ^dexample in undergoing the ^epunishment of everlasting fire. Gen 19:1-29

8 Nevertheless in the same way, these dreamers who are dreaming that God will not punish them also ^adefile the body, and reject legitimate authority, and revile and mock angelic majesties. 9 But even ^athe archangel ^bMichael, when he was disputing with the devil (Satan) , and ¹arguing about ^cthe body of Moses, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him, but simply said, “^dThe Lord rebuke you!” Deut 34:5, 6; Zech 3:2 10 But ^athese men sneer at anything which they do not understand; and ^bwhatever they do know by mere instinct, ^clike unreasoning and irrational beasts—by these things they are destroyed. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone ^athe defiant way of Cain, and for profit they have run headlong into ^bthe error of Balaam, and ^cperished in the rebellion of mutinous Korah. Gen 4:3-8; Num 16:22-24; 2+@Pet 2:15 12 These men are hidden reefs elements of great danger to others ^ain your ¹love feasts when they feast together with you ^bwithout fear, looking after only themselves; they are like ^cclouds without water, ^dswept along by the winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, ^euprooted and lifeless; 13 ^awild waves of the sea, flinging up ^btheir own shame like foam; wandering stars, ^cfor whom the gloom of deep darkness has been reserved forever.

14 It was about these people that ^1aEnoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, when he said, “^bLook, the Lord came with ²myriads of His holy ones 15 ^ato execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ¹ungodly of all the ungodly deeds they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh and cruel things ^bungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” 16 These people are habitual ^amurmurers, griping and complaining, ^bfollowing after their own desires controlled by passion; they speak ^carrogantly, pretending admiration and flattering people ^dto gain an advantage.

17 But as for you, ^abeloved, ^bremember the prophetic words spoken by ^cthe apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18 They used to say to you, “^aIn the last days there will be scoffers, ^bfollowing after their own ungodly passions.” 2+@Pet 3:3, 4 19 These are the ones who are agitators causing divisions—^aworldly-minded secular, unspiritual, carnal, merely sensual—unsaved, devoid of the Spirit. 20 But you, ^abeloved, ^bbuild yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy ^cfaith continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher, ^dpray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, ^awaiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ which will bring you to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23 save others, ^asnatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy but with fear, ^bloathing even the clothing spotted and polluted by their shameless immoral freedom. Amos 4:11; Zech 3:2-4

24 ^aNow to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to ^bpresent you unblemished blameless and faultless in the presence of His glory with ^ctriumphant joy and unspeakable delight, 25 to the ^aonly ^bGod our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, ^cbe glory, majesty, dominion, and power, ^dbefore all time and now and forever.
