Por tanto, hermanos santos^a, participantes del llamamiento celestial^b, considerad a Jesús, el Apóstol^c y Sumo Sacerdote^d de nuestra fe^1e. 2 El cual fue fiel¹ al que le designó², como también lo fue Moisés en toda la casa de Dios^3a. 3 Porque Él ha sido considerado digno de más gloria que Moisés^a, así como el constructor de la casa tiene más honra que la casa. 4 Porque toda casa es hecha por alguno, pero el que hace todas las cosas es Dios. 5 Y Moisés fue fiel en toda la casa de Dios^1a como siervo^b, para testimonio^c de lo que se iba a decir más tarde^d; 6 pero Cristo fue fiel como Hijo sobre la casa de Dios^1a, cuya casa somos nosotros^b, si retenemos firme^c hasta el fin nuestra confianza^d y la gloria² de nuestra esperanza^e. 7 Por lo cual, como dice el Espíritu Santo^a:SI OÍS HOY SU VOZ^b,

12 Tened cuidado^a, hermanos, no sea que en alguno de vosotros haya un corazón malo de incredulidad, para apartarse¹ del Dios vivo^b. 13 Antes exhortaos los unos a los otros cada día^a, mientras todavía se dice: Hoy; no sea que alguno de vosotros sea endurecido por el engaño del pecado^b. 14 Porque somos hechos¹ partícipes de Cristo, si es que retenemos^a firme hasta el fin el principio de nuestra seguridad^b, 15 en cuanto se dice:SI OÍS HOY SU VOZ,NO ENDUREZCÁIS VUESTROS CORAZONES, COMO EN LA PROVOCACIÓN^a. 16 Porque ¿quiénes, habiendo oído, le provocaron^a? ¿Acaso no fueron todos los que salieron de Egipto^b guiados por Moisés? 17 ¿Y con quiénes se disgustó por cuarenta años? ¿No fue con aquellos que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos cayeron en el desierto^a? 18 ¿Y a quiénes juró que no entrarían en su reposo^a, sino a los que fueron desobedientes^b? 19 Vemos, pues, que no pudieron entrar a causa de su incredulidad^a.

Therefore, ^aholy brothers and sisters, partakers of a ^bheavenly calling, consider ^cthe Apostle and ^dHigh Priest of our ^econfession: Jesus; 2 ¹He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as ^aMoses also was in all His house. 3 ^aFor He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. 5 Now ^aMoses was faithful in all ¹God’s house as ^ba servant, ^cfor a testimony of those things ^dwhich were to be spoken later; 6 but Christ was faithful as ^aa Son over His house—^bwhose house we are, ^cif we hold firmly to our ^dconfidence and the boast of our ^1ehope.

7 Therefore, just as ^athe Holy Spirit says,“^bTODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,

12 ^aTake care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart ¹that falls away from ^bthe living God. 13 But ^aencourage one another every day, as long as it is still called “today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the ^bdeceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ ^aif we keep the beginning of our ^1bcommitment firm until the end, 15 while it is said,“^aTODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS ¹WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME.” 16 For who ^aprovoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, ^bdid not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, ^awhose dead bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear ^athat they would not enter His rest, but to those who were ^bdisobedient? 19 And so we see that they were not able to enter because of ^aunbelief.

Therefore, ^1aholy brothers and sisters, who share in the ^bheavenly calling, thoughtfully and attentively consider ^cthe Apostle and ^dHigh Priest whom we ^econfessed as ours when we accepted Him as Savior, namely, ²Jesus; 2 He was faithful to Him who appointed Him Apostle and High Priest, as ^aMoses also was faithful in all God’s house. Num 12:7 3 ^aYet Jesus has been considered worthy of much greater glory and honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. 5 Now ^aMoses was faithful in the administration of all God’s house, but only as ^ba ministering servant, his ministry serving ^cas a testimony of the things ^dwhich were to be spoken afterward the revelation to come in Christ; Num 12:7 6 but Christ is faithful as ^aa Son over His Father’s house. And we are ^bHis house ^cif we hold fast our ^dconfidence and sense of triumph in our ^ehope in Christ.

7 Therefore, just as ^athe Holy Spirit says,“^bTODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,

12 ^aTake care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving ¹heart which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart that turns away from ^bthe living God. 13 But continually ^aencourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” and there is an opportunity, so that none of you will be hardened into settled rebellion by the ^bdeceitfulness of sin its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication. 14 For we believers have become partakers of Christ sharing in all that the Messiah has for us, ^aif only we hold firm our newborn ^bconfidence which originally led us to Him until the end, 15 while it is said,“^aTODAY while there is still opportunity IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART, AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME in the rebellion in the desert at Meribah.” Ps 95:7, 8 16 For who were they who heard and yet ^aprovoked Him with rebellious acts? ^bWas it not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, ^awhose dead bodies were scattered in the desert? 18 And to whom did He swear an oath ^athat they would not enter His rest, but to those who ^bdisobeyed those who would not listen to His word? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter into His rest—the promised land because of ^aunbelief and an unwillingness to trust in God.
