2 Oh SEÑOR, he oído^a lo que se dice de ti¹ y temí^b.Aviva, oh SEÑOR, tu obra² en medio de los años³^c,en medio de los años⁴ dala a conocer;en la ira, acuérdate de tener compasión^d.

3 Dios viene de Temán^a,y el Santo, del monte Parán^b.(Selah¹)Su esplendor cubre los cielos^c,y de su alabanza está llena la tierra^d.4 Su resplandor es como la luz^a;tiene rayos que salen de su mano,y allí se oculta su poder^b.5 Delante de Él va la pestilencia^a,y la plaga sigue sus pasos¹^b.6 Se detuvo, e hizo temblar¹ la tierra,miró e hizo estremecerse a las naciones^a.Sí, se desmoronaron los montes perpetuos,se hundieron²^b las colinas antiguas.Sus caminos son eternos.7 Bajo aflicción^a vi las tiendas de Cusán,temblaban las tiendas¹ de la tierra de Madián^b.

8 ¿Te indignaste¹, SEÑOR, contra los ríos?¿Contra los ríos^a fue tu ira,contra el mar^b tu furor,cuando montaste en tus caballos^c,en tus carros de victoria²^d?9 Tu arco fue desnudado por completo^a,las varas de castigo¹ fueron juradas.(Selah)Con ríos hendiste la tierra^b;10 te vieron los montes y temblaron,el diluvio de aguas pasó;dio el abismo su voz,levantó en alto sus manos^a.11 El sol y la luna se detuvieron en su sitio^a;a la luz de tus saetas se fueron^b,al resplandor de tu lanza fulgurante.12 Con indignación marchaste por la tierra^a;con ira hollaste¹^b las naciones.13 Saliste para salvar a tu pueblo^a,para salvar a tu ungido^b.Destrozaste la cabeza de la casa del impío^c,descubriéndolo de arriba abajo¹.(Selah)14 Traspasaste con sus propios dardos^ala cabeza de sus guerreros¹que irrumpieron para dispersarnos²^b;su regocijo fue como el de los que devoran en secreto a los oprimidos^c.15 Marchaste por el mar con tus caballos^a,en el oleaje de las inmensas aguas^b.

16 Oí, y se estremecieron mis entrañas¹^a;a tu voz temblaron mis labios.Entra podredumbre en mis huesos^b,y tiemblo donde estoy.Tranquilo espero el día de la angustia^c,al pueblo que se levantará para invadirnos²^d.17 Aunque la higuera no eche brotes,ni haya fruto en las viñas^a;aunque falte el producto del olivo^b,y los campos no produzcan alimento;aunque falten las ovejas del aprisco^c,y no haya vacas en los establos^d,18 con todo yo me alegraré en el SEÑOR^a,me regocijaré en el Dios de mi salvación^b.19 El Señor DIOS¹ es mi fortaleza^a;Él ha hecho mis pies como los de las ciervas^b,y por las alturas^c me hace caminar.Para el director del coro, con mis instrumentos de cuerda.

2 LORD, I have ^aheard ¹the report about You, and ²I was ^bafraid.LORD, ^crevive ^dYour work in the midst of the years,In the midst of the years make it known.In anger remember ³^emercy.

3 God comes from ^aTeman,And the Holy One from Mount ^bParan.SelahHis ^csplendor covers the heavens,And the ^dearth is full of His praise.4 His ^aradiance is like the sunlight;He has rays flashing from His hand,And the hiding of His ^bmight is there.5 Before Him goes ^aplague,And ^bplague comes forth ¹after Him.6 He stood and caused the earth to shudder;He looked and ^acaused the nations to jump.Yes, the everlasting mountains were shattered,The ancient hills ¹collapsed.His paths are ^beverlasting.7 I saw the tents of Cushan under ^adistress,The tent curtains of the land of ^bMidian were trembling.

8 Did the LORD rage against the ^arivers,Or was Your anger against the rivers,Or was Your rage against the ^bsea,That You ^crode on Your horses,On Your ^dchariots of salvation?9 You removed Your ^abow from its holder,The arrows of Your word were ¹sworn.SelahYou ^bdivided the earth with rivers.10 The mountains saw You and quaked;The downpour of waters swept by.The deep ^araised its voice,It lifted high its hands.11 ^aSun and moon stood in their lofty places;They went away at the ^blight of Your arrows,At the radiance of Your flashing spear.12 In indignation You ^amarched through the earth;In anger You ¹^btrampled the nations.13 You went forth for the ^asalvation of Your people,For the salvation of Your ^banointed.You smashed the ^chead of the house of evilTo uncover him from ¹foot to neck.Selah14 You pierced with his ^aown ¹arrowsThe head of his ²leaders.They ^bstormed in to scatter ³us;Their arrogance was like thoseWho ^cdevour the oppressed in secret.15 You ^atrampled on the sea with Your horses,On the ^bfoam of many waters.

16 I heard, and my ¹inner parts ^atrembled;At the sound, my lips quivered.Decay enters my ^bbones,And in my place I tremble;Because I ²must ^cwait quietly for the day of distress,³For the ^dpeople to arise who will attack us.17 Even if the ^afig tree does not blossom,And there is no ¹fruit on the vines,If the yield of the ^bolive fails,And the fields produce no food,Even if the ^cflock disappears from the fold,And there are ^dno cattle in the stalls,18 Yet I will ^atriumph in the LORD,I will ^brejoice in the ^cGod of my salvation.19 The Lord ¹GOD is my ^astrength,And ^bHe has made my feet like deer’s feet,And has me walk on my ^chigh places.For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.

3 God approaching from Sinai comes from ^aTeman (Edom) ,And the Holy One from ¹Mount ^bParan.Selah ²(pause, and calmly think of that).His ^csplendor and majesty covers the heavensAnd the ^dearth is full of His praise.4 His ^abrightness is like the sunlight;He has bright rays flashing from His hand,And there in the sunlike splendor is the hiding place of His ^bpower.5 Before Him goes the ^apestilence of judgment as in Egypt,And the burning ^bplague of condemnation follows at His feet as in Sennacherib’s army. Ex 7:2-4; 2+@Kin 19:32-356 He stood and measured the earth;He looked and ^astartled the nations,Yes, the eternal mountains were shattered,The ancient hills bowed low and collapsed.His ways are ^beternal.7 I Habakkuk, in my vision saw the tents of Cushan under ^adistress;The tent curtains of the land of ^bMidian were trembling.

8 Did the LORD rage against the ^arivers,Or was Your anger against the rivers,Or was Your wrath against the Red ^bSea,That You ^crode on Your horses,On Your ^dchariots of salvation?9 Your ^abow was made bare;The rods of chastisement were sworn.Selah (pause, calmly think of that).You ^bsplit the earth with rivers bringing waters to dry places. Ex 17:6; Num 20:1110 The mountains saw You and they trembled and writhed as if in pain;The downpour of waters swept by as a deluge.The deep ^auttered its voice and raged,It lifted its hands high.11 The ^asun and moon stood in their places as before Joshua;They went away at the ^blight of Your swift arrows,At the radiance and gleam of Your glittering spear. 16 I heard and my whole inner self ^atrembled;My lips quivered at the sound.Decay and rottenness enter my ^bbones,And I tremble in my place.Because I must ^cwait quietly for the day of distress,For the ^dpeople to arise who will invade and attack us.17 Though the ^afig tree does not blossomAnd there is no fruit on the vines,Though the yield of the ^bolive failsAnd the fields produce no food,Though the ^cflock is cut off from the foldAnd there are ^dno cattle in the stalls,18 Yet I will choose to ^arejoice in the LORD;I will choose to ^bshout in exultation in the victorious ^cGod of my salvation!
