Reinado futuro del SEÑOR

^aY sucederá en los últimos díasque el monte de la casa del SEÑORserá establecido como cabeza¹ de los montes^b;se elevará sobre las colinas,y afluirán a él los pueblos^c.2 Vendrán^a muchas naciones y dirán:Venid y subamos al monte del SEÑOR^b,a la casa del Dios de Jacob,para que Él nos instruya en sus caminos^c,y nosotros andemos en sus sendas.Porque de Sión saldrá la ley,y de Jerusalén^d la palabra del SEÑOR.3 Él juzgará entre muchos pueblos,y enjuiciará a naciones poderosas y lejanas¹;entonces forjarán sus espadas en rejas de aradoy sus lanzas en podaderas^a.No alzará espada nación contra nación,ni se adiestrarán² más para la guerra^b.4 Cada uno se sentará bajo su parray bajo su higuera^a,y no habrá quien los atemorice^b,porque la boca del SEÑOR de los ejércitos ha hablado^c.5 Aunque todos los pueblos andencada uno en el nombre de su dios^a,nosotros andaremosen el nombre del SEÑOR nuestro Dios para siempre jamás^b.

6 En aquel día—declara el SEÑOR—reuniré a la coja^ay recogeré a la perseguida^b,a las que yo había maltratado.7 Haré de la coja un remanente^a,y de la perseguida una nación fuerte.Y el SEÑOR reinará sobre ellos en el monte de Sión^bdesde ahora y para siempre.8 Y tú, torre del rebaño¹^a,colina² de la hija de Sión,hasta ti vendrá,vendrá el antiguo dominio,el reino de la hija de Jerusalén^b.

9 Ahora, ¿por qué gritas tan fuerte^a?¿No hay rey en ti?¿Ha perecido tu consejero^b,que el dolor te aflige como a mujer de parto?10 Retuércete y gime¹^a,hija de Sión,como mujer de parto,porque ahora saldrás de la ciudady habitarás en el campo,e irás hasta Babilonia^b.Allí serás rescatada^c,allí te redimirá el SEÑOR^dde la mano² de tus enemigos.11 Pero ahora se han juntado contra ti muchas naciones^a,que dicen: «Sea profanada,y que se deleiten¹ en Sión nuestros ojos».12 Mas ellos no conocen los pensamientos del SEÑOR^a,ni comprenden su propósito,porque los ha recogido como gavillas en la era.13 Levántate y trilla^a, hija de Sión,pues yo haré tu cuerno de hierroy haré tus pezuñas de bronce,para que desmenuces a muchos pueblos^b,para que consagres al SEÑOR su injusta ganancia,y sus riquezas al Señor de toda la tierra^c.

Peaceful Latter Days

And it will come about in the ^alast daysThat the ^bmountain of the house of the LORDWill be established ¹as the chief of the mountains.It will be raised above the hills,And the ^cpeoples will stream to it.2 ^aMany nations will come and say,“^bCome and let’s go up to the mountain of the LORDAnd to the house of the God of Jacob,So that ^cHe may teach us about His ways,And that we may walk in His paths.”For ^dfrom Zion will go forth the law,And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.3 And He will ^ajudge between many peoplesAnd render decisions for mighty, ¹distant nations.Then they will beat their swords ^binto plowshares,And their spears into pruning hooks;Nation will not lift a sword against nation,And never again will they ²train for war.4 Instead, each of them will ^asit under his vineAnd under his fig tree,With ^bno one to make them afraid,Because the ^cmouth of the LORD of armies has spoken.5 Though all the peoples walk,Each in the ^aname of his god,As for us, ^bwe will walkIn the name of the ^cLORD our God forever and ever.

6 “On that day,” declares the LORD,“I will assemble those who ^alimpAnd ^bgather the scattered,Those whom I have afflicted.7 “I will make those who limp a ^aremnant,And those who ¹have strayed a mighty nation,And the ^bLORD will reign over them on Mount ZionFrom now on and forever.8 “As for you, ¹^atower of the flock,²Hill of the daughter of Zion,To you it will come—Yes, the ^bformer dominion will come,The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

9 “Now, why do you ^acry out loudly?Is there no king among you,Or has your ^bcounselor perished,That agony has gripped you like a woman in childbirth?10 “^aWrithe and scream,Daughter of Zion,Like a woman in childbirth;For now you will ^bgo out of the city,Live in the field,And go to Babylon.^cThere you will be rescued,^dThere the LORD will redeem youFrom the hand of your enemies.11 “And now ^amany nations have been assembled against youWho say, ‘Let her be defiled,And let our eyes ¹gloat over Zion!’12 “But they do not ^aknow the thoughts of the LORD,And they do not understand His plan;For He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.13 “Arise and ^athresh, daughter of Zion,For I will make your horn iron,And I will make your hoofs bronze,So that you may ^bpulverize many peoples,And ^cdedicate to the LORD their unjust profit,And their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

But it shall come about in the ^alast daysThat the ^bmountain of the house of the LORDShall be established as the highest and chief of the mountains;It shall be above the hills,And ^cpeoples shall flow like a river to it.2 And ^amany nations shall come and say,“^bCome, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,To the house of the God of Jacob,That ^cHe may teach us about His waysAnd that we may walk in His paths.”For the law shall go forward ^dfrom Zion,And the word of the LORD the revelation about Him and His truth from Jerusalem.3 And He will ^ajudge between many peoplesAnd render decisions for strong and distant nations.Then they shall hammer their swords ^binto plowsharesAnd their spears into pruning hooks so that the implements of war may become the tools of agriculture;Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,Nor shall they ever again train for war. Is 2:2-4; Joel 3:104 Each of them shall ^asit in security and peace under his vineAnd under his fig tree,With ^bno one to make them afraid,For the ^cmouth of the omnipotent LORD of hosts has spoken it. Zech 3:105 For all the peoples now walkEach in the ^aname of his god in a transient relationship,As for us, ^bwe shall walk securelyIn the name of the ^cLORD our true God forever and ever.

6 “In that day,” says the LORD,“I shall assemble the ^alame,And ^bgather the outcasts from foreign captivity,Even those whom I have caused pain.7 “I shall make the lame a godly ^aremnantAnd the outcasts a strong nation;And the ^bLORD shall reign over them in Mount ZionFrom this time on and forever.8 “As for you Jerusalem, ^atower of the flock of Israel,Hill and stronghold of the Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem’s inhabitants) ,To you the ^bformer dominion shall come,The kingdom of the Daughter of Jerusalem when the Messiah reigns in Jerusalem, and the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 9 “Now, why do you ^acry out loudly?Is there no king among you?Has your ^bcounselor perished?For agony has gripped you like a woman in childbirth.10 “^aWrithe in pain and labor to give birth,O Daughter of Zion,Like a woman in childbirth;For now you shall ^bgo out of the city,Live in the field,And go to Babylon.^cThere you will be rescued;^dThere the LORD shall redeem youFrom the hand of your enemies.11 “Now ^amany conquering nations are assembled against you,Who say, ‘Let her be profaned through Gentile presence and the temple’s destruction,And let our eyes gaze on and gloat over Zion.’12 “But they (Gentile nations) do not ^aknow the thoughts of the LORD,Nor do they understand His purpose and plan;For He has gathered them (Gentiles) like sheaves to the threshing floor for destruction.13 “Arise and ^athresh, O Daughter of Zion!For I will make your horn ironAnd I will make your hoofs bronze;That you may ^bbeat many peoples in pieces trampling down your enemies,That you may ^cdevote to the LORD their unjust gain (pagan possessions)And their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
