Conversión y perdón de Israel

¹Vuelve, oh Israel, al SEÑOR tu Dios^a,pues has tropezado a causa de² tu iniquidad^b.2 Tomad con vosotros palabras¹, y volveos al SEÑOR.Decidle: Quita toda iniquidad^a,y acéptanos bondadosamente²,para que podamos presentar el fruto de nuestros labios³^b.3 Asiria no nos salvará,no montaremos a caballo^a,y nunca más diremos: «Dios nuestro¹^b»a la obra de nuestras manos^c,pues en ti el huérfano halla misericordia^d.

4 Yo sanaré su apostasía^a,los amaré generosamente^b,pues mi ira se ha apartado de ellos^c.5 Seré como rocío para Israel^a;florecerá como lirio^b,y extenderá sus raíces como los cedros del Líbano^c.6 Brotarán¹ sus renuevos,y será su esplendor² como el del olivo^a,y su fragancia como la de los cedros del Líbano^b.7 Los que moran a su sombra^a,cultivarán de nuevo el trigo¹^by florecerán como la vid.Su fama será como la del vino del Líbano.

8 Efraín, ¿qué tengo yo que ver ya con los ídolos^a?Yo respondo y te¹ cuido.Yo soy como un frondoso ciprés^b;de mí procede tu fruto^c.

9 Quien es sabio, que entienda estas cosas^a;quien es prudente, que las comprenda.Porque rectos son los caminos del SEÑOR^b,y los justos andarán por ellos^c;pero los transgresores tropezarán en ellos^d.

¹^aReturn, Israel, to the LORD your God,For you have stumbled ²because of your ^bwrongdoing.2 Take words with you and return to the LORD.Say to Him, “^aTake away all guiltAnd ¹receive us graciously,So that we may ^bpresent ²the fruit of our lips.3 “Assyria will not save us,We will ^anot ride on horses;Nor will we say again, ‘^bOur god’To the ^cwork of our hands;For in ^dYou the ¹orphan finds mercy.”

4 I will ^aheal their apostasy,I will ^blove them freely,Because My anger has ^cturned away from them.5 I will be like the ^adew to Israel;He will blossom like the ^blily,And he will ¹take root like the cedars of ^cLebanon.6 His shoots will ¹sprout,His ²majesty will be like the ^aolive tree,And his fragrance like the cedars of ^bLebanon.7 Those who ^alive in his shadowWill ¹again raise ^bgrain,And they will blossom like the vine.His fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.

8 Ephraim, what more have I to do with ^aidols?It is I who answer and look after ¹you.I am like a luxuriant ^bjuniper;From ^cMe ²comes your fruit.

9 ^aWhoever is wise, let him understand these things;Whoever is discerning, let him know them.For the ^bways of the LORD are right,And the ^crighteous will walk in them,But ^dwrongdoers will stumble in them.

Israel’s Future Blessing

O Israel, ^areturn in repentance to the LORD your God,For you have stumbled and fallen visited by tragedy, because of your ^bsin.2 Take the words confessing your guilt with you and return to the LORD.Say to Him, “^aTake away all our wickedness;Accept what is good and receive us graciously,So that we may ^bpresent the fruit of our lips (gratitude) . Heb 13:153 “Assyria will not save us;We will ^anot ride on horses relying on military might,Nor will we say again to the idols who are the ^bwork of our hands,‘You are ^cour gods.’For in ^dYou O LORD the orphan finds love and compassion and mercy.”

4 I will ^aheal their apostasy and faithlessness;I will ^blove them freely,For My anger has ^cturned away from Israel.5 I shall be like the ^adew to Israel;He will blossom like the ^blily,And he will take root like the cedars of ^cLebanon.6 His shoots will sprout,And his beauty will be like the ^aolive treeAnd his fragrance like the cedars of ^bLebanon.7 Those who ^alive in his shadowWill again raise ^bgrain,And they will blossom like the vine.His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.

8 O Ephraim, what more have I to do with ^aidols?It is I who have answered and will care for you and watch over you.I am like a ^bluxuriant cypress tree;With ^cMe your fruit is found which is to nourish you.

9 ^aWhoever is spiritually wise, let him understand these things;Whoever is spiritually discerning and understanding, let him know them.For the ^bways of the LORD are right,And the ^crighteous will walk in them,But ^dtransgressors will stumble and fall in them.
