Moisés bendice a las doce tribus

Esta es la bendición con la que Moisés, hombre de Dios^a, bendijo a los hijos de Israel antes de morir. 2 Dijo:El SEÑOR vino del Sinaí^ay les esclareció¹ desde Seir^b;resplandeció desde el monte Parán^c,y vino de en medio de diez millares de santos²^d;a su diestra había fulgor centellante³ para ellos^e.

3 En verdad, Él ama al pueblo¹^a;todos tus² santos^b están en tu mano,y siguen en tus pasos³;todos reciben de tus palabras^c.4 Una ley nos prescribió Moisés^a,una herencia^b para la asamblea de Jacob.5 Él era rey en Jesurún¹,cuando se reunieron los jefes² del pueblo,juntamente con las tribus de Israel^a.

6 Viva Rubén^a, y no muera,y no sean pocos sus hombres.

7 En cuanto a Judá, esto dijo:Escucha, oh SEÑOR, la voz de Judá^a,y tráelo a su pueblo.Con sus manos luchó por ellos¹;sé tú su ayuda contra sus adversarios.

8 Y de Leví dijo:Tu Tumim y tu Urim^a sean para tu varón santo¹^b,a quien pusiste a prueba en Masah,con quien luchaste en las aguas de Meriba^c;

9 el que dijo de su padre y de su madre:«No los conozco¹»;y no reconoció a sus hermanos,ni consideró a sus propios hijos^a,porque obedecieron tu palabra,y guardaron tu pacto^b.10 Ellos enseñarán tus ordenanzas a Jacoby tu ley a Israel^a.Pondrán incienso delante de ti¹^b,y holocaustos perfectos sobre tu altar^c.11 Bendice, oh SEÑOR, sus esfuerzos,y acepta la obra de sus manos;quebranta los lomos de los que se levantan contra ély de los que lo odian, para que no se levanten más.

12 De Benjamín, dijo:Habite el amado del SEÑOR en seguridad^a junto a aquelque le protege¹ todo el día^b,y entre cuyos hombros mora^c.

13 Y de José, dijo:Bendita del SEÑOR sea su tierra,con lo mejor de los cielos, con el rocío^ay con las profundidades que están¹ debajo;

14 con lo mejor de los frutos del soly con los mejores productos de los meses;15 con lo mejor de los montes antiguosy con lo escogido de los collados eternos^a;16 con lo mejor de la tierra y cuanto contieney el favor del que habitaba en la zarza.Descienda la bendición sobre la cabeza de José,y sobre la coronilla del consagrado¹ entre sus hermanos^a.17 Su majestad es como la del primogénito del toro,y sus cuernos son los cuernos del búfalo^a;con ellos empujará a los pueblos^b,todos juntos, hasta los confines de la tierra.Tales son los diez millares de Efraín,y tales los millares de Manasés.

18 Y de Zabulón^a, dijo:Alégrate, Zabulón, en tus salidas¹e Isacar, en tus tiendas.

19 Llamarán a los pueblos al monte^a;allí ofrecerán sacrificios de justicia^b,pues disfrutarán¹ de la abundancia de los mares^c,y de los tesoros escondidos en la arena.

20 Y de Gad^a, dijo:Bendito el que ensancha a Gad;se echa como león¹^b,y desgarra el brazo y también la coronilla.

21 Entonces reservó¹ para sí la primera parte^a,pues allí la porción de gobernante le estaba reservada²^b.Y él vino con los jefes del pueblo^c;ejecutó la justicia del SEÑOR,y sus ordenanzas con Israel^d.

22 Y de Dan^a, dijo:Dan es cachorro de león^bque salta desde Basán.

23 Y de Neftalí^a, dijo:Neftalí, colmado de favores,y lleno de la bendición del SEÑOR,toma posesión del mar y del sur.

24 Y de Aser^a, dijo:Más bendito que¹ hijos es Aser;sea favorecido por sus hermanos,y moje su pie en aceite^b.

25 De hierro y de bronce serán tus cerrojos^a,y tan largo como tus días^b será tu reposo¹.

26 Nadie hay como el Dios de Jesurún¹^a,que cabalga los cielos^b para venir en tu ayuda,y las nubes, en su majestad.27 El eterno Dios es tu refugio¹^a,y debajo están los brazos eternos^b.El echó al enemigo delante de ti^c,y dijo: «¡Destruye^d!».28 Por eso Israel habita confiado¹^a,la fuente de Jacob habita separada^ben una tierra de grano y mosto^c;sus cielos también destilan rocío^d.29 Dichoso^a tú, Israel.¿Quién como tú, pueblo salvado por el SEÑOR^b?Él es escudo de tu ayuda^c,y espada de tu gloria^d.Tus enemigos simularán someterse ante ti^e,y tú hollarás sus lugares altos^f.

The Blessing by Moses

Now this is the blessing with which Moses ^athe man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death. 2 He said,“^aThe LORD came from Sinai,^bAnd ¹dawned on them from Seir;^cHe shone from Mount Paran,And He came from ^dthe midst of myriads of ²holy ones;^eAt His right hand there was ³flashing lightning for them.

3 “^aIndeed, He loves ¹the people;^bAll ²Your holy ones are in Your hand,^cAnd they ³followed in Your steps;Everyone takes of Your words.4 “^aMoses issued to us the Law,^bA possession for the assembly of Jacob.5 “^aAnd He was king in ¹Jeshurun,When the heads of the people gathered,The tribes of Israel together.

6 “^aMay Reuben live and not die,Nor may his people be few.”

7 ^aAnd this was regarding Judah; so he said:“Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah,And bring him to his people.With his hands he contended for ¹them,And may You be a help against his adversaries.”

8 Of Levi he said,“Let Your ^aThummim and Your Urim belong to Your ^bgodly man,^cWhom You tested at Massah,With ¹whom You contended at the waters of Meribah;

9 ^aWho said of his father and his mother,‘I did not consider them’;And he did not acknowledge his brothers,Nor did he regard his own sons,For ^bthey kept Your word,And complied with Your covenant.10 “^aThey will teach Your ordinances to Jacob,And Your Law to Israel.^bThey shall put ¹incense before You,And ^cwhole burnt offerings on Your altar.11 “LORD, bless his strength,And accept the work of his hands;Smash the ¹hips of those who rise up against him,And those who hate him, so that they do not rise again.”

12 Of Benjamin he said,“^aMay the beloved of the LORD live in security beside Him^bWho shields him all the day long,^cAnd he lives between His shoulders.”

13 Of Joseph he said,“^aBlessed of the LORD be his land,With the choice things of heaven, with the dew,And from the deep waters lying beneath,

14 And with the choice yield of the sun,And the choice produce of the months;15 And with the ¹best things of ^athe ancient mountains,With the choice things of the everlasting hills,16 And with the choice things of the earth and its fullness,And the favor ^aof Him who dwelt in the bush.Let it come to the head of Joseph,And to the top of the head of the one who was prince among his brothers.17 “As the firstborn of his ox, majesty is his,And his horns are the horns of ^athe wild ox;With them he will ^bgore the peoplesAll ¹at once, to the ends of the earth.And those are the ten thousands of Ephraim,And those are the thousands of Manasseh.”

18 ^aOf Zebulun he said,“Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out,And, Issachar, in your tents.

19 “^aThey will call peoples to the mountain;There they will offer ^brighteous sacrifices;For they will ¹draw out ^cthe abundance of the seas,And the hidden treasures of the sand.”

20 ^aOf Gad he said,“Blessed is the one who enlarges Gad;He lies down ^bas a ¹lion,And tears the arm, also the crown of the head.

21 “^aThen he ¹selected the choicest part for himself,^bFor there the ruler’s portion was ²reserved;^cAnd he came with the leaders of the people;^dHe executed the justice of the LORD,And His ordinances with Israel.”

22 ^aOf Dan he said,“Dan is ^ba lion’s cub;He leaps out from Bashan.”

23 Of Naphtali he said,“^aNaphtali, satisfied with favor,And full of the blessing of the LORD,Take possession of the sea and the south.”

24 ^aOf Asher he said,“More blessed than sons is Asher;May he be favored by his brothers,^bAnd may he dip his foot in olive oil.

25 “^aYour ¹bars will be iron and bronze,^bAnd as your days, so will your strength be.

26 “^aThere is no one like the God of ¹Jeshurun,^bWho rides the heavens ²to your help,And the clouds in His majesty.27 “^aThe eternal God is a ¹hiding place,^bAnd underneath are the everlasting arms;^cAnd He drove out the enemy from you,^dAnd said, ‘Destroy!’28 “^aSo Israel lives in security,^bThe fountain of Jacob secluded,^cIn a land of grain and new wine;^dHis heavens also drip down dew.29 “^aBlessed are you, Israel;^bWho is like you, a people saved by the LORD,^cThe shield of your help,^dAnd He who is the sword of your majesty!^eSo your enemies will cringe before you,^fAnd you will trample on their high places.”

The Blessing of Moses

This is the blessing with which Moses ^athe man of God ¹blessed the sons of Israel before his death. 2 He said,“^aThe LORD came from Sinai,^bAnd dawned on them from Seir;^cHe shone forth from Mount Paran,And He came ^dfrom among ten thousand holy ones;^eAt His right hand was a ¹flaming fire, a law, for them.

3 “^aIndeed, He loves His people;^bAll ¹Your holy ones are in Your hand.^cThey followed in Your steps;They accept and receive direction from You.4 “^aMoses commanded us with a law,As ^ba possession for the assembly of Jacob.5 “^aThe LORD was King in Jeshurun (Israel) ,When the heads of the people were gathered,The tribes of Israel together.

6 “^aMay the tribe of Reuben live and not die out,¹But let his men be few.”

7 ^aAnd Moses said this of ¹Judah:“Hear, O LORD, the voice of Judah,And bring him to his people.With his hands he contended for them,And may You be a help against his enemies.”

8 Of Levi he said,“Your ¹^aThummim and Your Urim belong to Your ^bgodly man Aaron,^cWhom You tested and proved at Massah,With whom You contended at the waters of Meribah; Num 20:1-13

9 ^aWho ¹said of his father and mother,‘I did not consider them’;Nor did he acknowledge his brothers,Nor did he regard his own sons,For ^bthe priests observed Your word,And kept Your covenant.10 “^aThe priests shall teach Your ordinances (judgments) to Jacob,And Your law to Israel.^bThey shall put incense ¹before You,And ^cwhole burnt offerings on Your altar.11 “O LORD, bless Levi’s substance (ability) ,And accept and take pleasure in the work of his hands;Crush and shatter the loins of those who rise up against him,And of those who hate him, so that they do not rise again.”

12 Of Benjamin he said,“^aMay the beloved of the LORD ¹dwell in safety by Him;^bHe shields and covers him all the day long,^cAnd he dwells between His shoulders.”

13 And of ¹Joseph he said,“^aBlessed by the LORD be his land,With the precious things of heaven, with the dew,And from the deep water that lies beneath,

14 With the precious fruits of the sun,And with the precious produce of the months.15 “With the best things of ^athe ancient mountains,And with the precious things of the everlasting hills,16 With the precious things of the earth and its fullness,And the favor and goodwill ^aof Him who dwelt in the bush.Let these blessings come upon the head of Joseph,And upon the crown of the head of him who was distinguished as a prince among his brothers. Ex 3:417 “His majesty is like a firstborn young bull,And his horns like the horns of ^athe wild ox;With them he will ^bgore the peoples,All of them together, to the ends of the earth.And those are the ten thousands of Ephraim,And those are the thousands of Manasseh.”

18 ^aOf Zebulun he said,“¹Rejoice, Zebulun, in your interests abroad,And, Issachar, in your tents at home.

19 “^aThey will call the peoples to the mountain (Mount Carmel) ;There they will offer ^bsacrifices of righteousness;For they will draw out ^cthe abundance of the seas,And the hidden treasures of the sand.”

20 ^aOf Gad he said,“Blessed is the one who enlarges Gad;He lurks ^blike a lioness,And tears the arm and the crown of the head.

21 “^aHe selected the best land for himself,^bFor there the leader’s portion was reserved;^cYet he came with the leaders of the people;^dHe carried out the justice (righteous will) of the LORD,And His ordinances (judgments) with Israel.” Num 32:29-33

22 ^aOf Dan he said,“Dan is ^ba lion’s cub,That leaps forth from Bashan.”

23 Of Naphtali he said,“^aO Naphtali, satisfied with favor,And full of the blessing of the LORD,Take possession of the sea of Galilee and the south.”

24 ^aOf Asher he said,“More blessed than sons is Asher;May he be favored by his brothers,And ^bmay he dip his foot in oil.

25 “^aYour strongholds will be iron and bronze,^bAnd as your days are, so will your strength, your rest and security be.

26 “^aThere is none like the God of Jeshurun (Israel) ,^bWho rides the heavens to your help,And through the skies in His majestic glory.27 “^aThe eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place,^bAnd underneath are the everlasting arms;^cHe drove out the enemy from before you,^dAnd said, ‘Destroy!’28 “So ^aIsrael dwells in safety and security,^bThe fountain of Jacob alone and secluded,^cIn a land of grain and new wine;^dHis heavens also drop down dew.29 “^aHappy and blessed are you, O Israel;^bWho is like you, a people saved by the LORD,^cThe Shield of your help,^dAnd the Sword of your majesty!^eYour enemies will cringe before you,^fAnd you will tread on their high places tramping down their idolatrous altars.”

The Blessing of Moses

Now this is the blessing with which Moses ^athe man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death. 2 He said,“^aThe LORD came from Sinai,^bAnd ¹dawned on them from Seir;^cHe shone forth from Mount Paran,And He came from ^dthe ²midst of ten thousand holy ones;^eAt His right hand there was ³flashing lightning for them.

3 “^aIndeed, He loves ¹the people;^bAll ²Your holy ones are in Your hand,^cAnd they ³followed in Your steps;Everyone receives of Your words.4 “^aMoses charged us with a law,^bA possession for the assembly of Jacob.5 “^aAnd He was king in Jeshurun,When the heads of the people were gathered,The tribes of Israel together.

6 “^aMay Reuben live and not die,Nor his men be few.”

7 ^aAnd this regarding Judah; so he said,“Hear, O LORD, the voice of Judah,And bring him to his people.With his hands he contended for ¹them,And may You be a help against his adversaries.”

25 “^aYour locks will be iron and bronze,^bAnd according to your days, so will your leisurely walk be.

26 “^aThere is none like the God of ¹Jeshurun,^bWho rides the heavens ²to your help,And through the skies in His majesty.27 “^aThe eternal God is a ¹dwelling place,^bAnd underneath are the everlasting arms;^cAnd He drove out the enemy from before you,^dAnd said, ‘Destroy!’28 “^aSo Israel dwells in security,^bThe fountain of Jacob secluded,^cIn a land of grain and new wine;^dHis heavens also drop down dew.29 “^aBlessed are you, O Israel;^bWho is like you, a people saved by the LORD,^cWho is the shield of your help^dAnd the sword of your majesty!^eSo your enemies will cringe before you,^fAnd you will tread upon their high places.”
