Alcé de nuevo mis ojos y miré, y he aquí cuatro^a carros que salían de entre dos montes; y los montes eran montes de bronce. 2 Del primer carro tiraban caballos^a rojos, del segundo carro caballos negros^b, 3 del tercer carro caballos blancos^a y del cuarto carro fuertes caballos^b tordos. 4 Entonces hablé, y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Qué sonestos, señor mío^a? 5 Y el ángel contestó, y me dijo: Estos son los cuatro vientos¹ del cielo que salen después de presentarse ante el Señor de toda la tierra^a. 6 Con uno de ellos salen los caballos negros hacia la tierra del norte^a, y los blancos salen tras ellos, mientras los tordos salen hacia la tierra del sur^b. 7 Briosos¹ salían, impacientes por² ir a recorrer la tierra. Y Él dijo: Id, recorred la tierra. Y recorrieron la tierra^a. 8 Entonces me llamó y me habló, diciendo: Mira, los que salen hacia la tierra del norte aplacan mi espíritu^1a en la tierra del norte.

9 Y vino la palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo^a: 10 Toma ofrendas de los desterrados, de Heldai, de Tobías y de Jedaías; y el mismo día ve y entra en la casa de Josías, hijo de Sofonías, adonde ellos han llegado de Babilonia^a. 11 Toma plata y oro, haz una corona¹ y ponla en la cabeza^a del sumo sacerdote Josué, hijo de Josadac^b. 12 Y háblale, diciendo: «Así dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos¹: “He aquí un hombre cuyo nombre es Renuevo^a, porque Él brotará del lugar donde está y reedificará el templo del SEÑOR^b. 13 Sí, Él reedificará el templo del SEÑOR, y Él llevará gloria^a y se sentará y gobernará en su trono^b. Será sacerdote^c sobre su trono y habrá consejo de paz entre los dos oficios¹”». 14 La corona^1a será para Helem, Tobías, Jedaías² y Hen, hijo de Sofonías, como recuerdo en el templo del SEÑOR. 15 Y los que están lejos vendrán y reedificarán el¹ templo del SEÑOR^a. Entonces sabréis que el SEÑOR de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros^b. Esto sucederá si escucháis obedientes la voz del SEÑOR vuestro Dios^c.

Now I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, ^afour chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains. 2 With the first chariot were ^ared horses, with the second chariot ^bblack horses, 3 with the third chariot ^awhite horses, and with the fourth chariot strong ^bdappled horses. 4 Then I spoke and said to the angel who was speaking with me, “^aWhat are these, my lord?” 5 The angel replied to me, “These are the ^afour spirits of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all the earth, 6 with one of which the black horses are going forth to the ^anorth country; and the white ones go forth after them, while the dappled ones go forth to the ^bsouth country. 7 When the strong ones went out, they ¹were eager to go to ^2apatrol the earth.” And He said, “Go, ³patrol the earth.” So they ⁴patrolled the earth. 8 Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, “See, those who are going to the land of the north have ^1aappeased My wrath in the land of the north.”

9 The ^aword of the LORD also came to me, saying, 10 “^aTake an offering from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon.

11 Take silver and gold, make an ornate ^acrown and set it on the head of ^bJoshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. 12 Then say to him, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is ^1aBranch, for He will ^2bbranch out from where He is; and He will ^cbuild the temple of the LORD. 13 Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will ^abear the honor and sit and ^brule on His throne. Thus, He will be a ^cpriest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two ¹offices.”’ 14 Now the ^acrown will become a reminder in the temple of the LORD to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah and ¹Hen the son of Zephaniah. 15 ^aThose who are far off will come and ¹build the temple of the LORD.” Then you will ^bknow that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And it will take place if you completely ^cobey the LORD your God.
