Después de esto miré^a, y vi¹ una puerta abierta en el cielo^b; y la primera voz que yo había oído, como sonido de trompeta^c que hablaba conmigo, decía: Sube^d acá y te mostraré las cosas que deben suceder después deestas^e. 2 Al instante estaba yo en el Espíritu^1a, y vi² un trono colocado en el cielo^b, y a uno sentado en el trono^c. 3 Y el que estaba sentado era de aspecto semejante a una piedra de jaspe^a y sardio^1b, y alrededor del trono había un arco iris^2c, de aspecto semejante a la esmeralda^d. 4 Y alrededor del trono^a había veinticuatro tronos^b; y sentados^c en los tronos, veinticuatro ancianos^d vestidos de ropas blancas^e, con coronas de oro en la cabeza^f. 5 Del trono salían relámpagos^a, voces¹ y truenos; y delante del trono había siete lámparas^b de fuego ardiendo, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios^c. 6 Delante del trono había como un mar transparente semejante al cristal^a; y en medio del trono y alrededor del trono^b, cuatro seres vivientes^c llenos de ojos por delante y por detrás^d. 7 El primer ser viviente era semejante a un león; el segundo ser era semejante a un becerro; el tercer ser tenía el rostro como el de un hombre, y el cuarto ser era semejante a un águila volando^a. 8 Y los cuatro seres vivientes^a, cada uno de ellos con¹ seis alas^b, estaban llenos de ojos alrededor y por dentro^c, y día y noche^d no cesaban de decir²:

9 Y cada vez que¹ los seres vivientes dan gloria, honor y acción de gracias al que está sentado en el trono^a, al que vive por los siglos de los siglos^b, 10 los veinticuatro ancianos^a se postran¹ delante del^b que está sentado en el trono^c, y adoran² al que vive por los siglos de los siglos^d, y echan³ sus coronas delante del trono^e, diciendo:

After ^athese things I looked, and behold, ^ba door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, ^clike the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “^dCome up here, and I will ^eshow you what must take place after these things.” 2 Immediately I was ^1ain the Spirit; and behold, ^ba throne was standing in heaven, and ^cOne sitting on the throne. 3 And He who was sitting was like a ^ajasper stone and a ^bsardius in appearance; and there was a ^1crainbow around the throne, like an ^demerald in appearance. 4 ^aAround the throne were ^btwenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw ^ctwenty-four elders ^dsitting, clothed in ^ewhite garments, and ^fgolden crowns on their heads.

5 Out from the throne come ^aflashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were ^bseven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are ^cthe seven Spirits of God; 6 and before the throne there was something like a ^asea of glass, like crystal; and in the ¹center and ^baround the throne, ^cfour living creatures ^dfull of eyes in front and behind. 7 ^aThe first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. 8 And the ^afour living creatures, each one of them having ^bsix wings, are ^cfull of eyes around and within; and ^dday and night ¹they do not cease to say,

9 And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who ^asits on the throne, to ^bHim who lives forever and ever, 10 the ^atwenty-four elders will ^bfall down before Him who ^csits on the throne, and will worship ^dHim who lives forever and ever, and will cast their ^ecrowns before the throne, saying,
