La revelación¹ de Jesucristo, que Dios^a le dio, para mostrar a sus siervos^b las cosas que deben suceder pronto^c; y la dio a conocer², enviándola por medio de su ángel^d a su siervo Juan^e, 2 el cual dio testimonio de la palabra de Dios^a, y del testimonio de Jesucristo^b, y de todo lo que vio. 3 Bienaventurado el que lee y los que oyen las palabras de la profecía^a y guardan las cosas que están escritas en ella, porque el tiempo está cerca^b.

4 Juan^a, a las siete iglesias^b que están en Asia^c: Gracia a vosotros y paz^d, de aquel^e que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete Espíritus que están delante de su trono^f, 5 y de Jesucristo, el testigo fiel^a, el primogénito de los muertos^b y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra^c. Al que nos ama^d y nos libertó¹ de nuestros pecados con² su sangre, 6 e hizo de nosotros un reino^a y sacerdotes^b para su Dios y Padre^1c, a Él sea la gloria y el dominio por los siglos de los siglos^d. Amén. 7 HE AQUÍ, VIENE CON LAS NUBES^a y todo ojo le verá^b, aun los que le traspasaron; y todas las tribus¹ de la tierra harán lamentación por Él^c; sí. Amén.

8 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega^1a—dice el Señor Dios^b—el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso^c.

9 Yo, Juan^a, vuestro hermano^b y compañero^c en la tribulación, en el reino^d y en la perseverancia^e en Jesús, me encontraba en la isla llamada Patmos, a causa de la palabra de Dios y del testimonio de Jesús^f. 10 Estaba yo en el Espíritu^1a en el día del Señor^b, y oí detrás de mí una gran voz, como sonido de trompeta^c, 11 que decía¹: Escribe en un libro^2a lo que ves, y envíalo a las siete iglesias^b: a Efeso^c, Esmirna^d, Pérgamo^e, Tiatira^f, Sardis^g, Filadelfia^h y Laodiceaⁱ. 12 Y me volví para ver de quién era la voz que hablaba conmigo. Y al volverme, vi siete candelabros de oro^a; 13 y en medio de los candelabros^a, vi a uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre^1b, vestido con una túnica que le llegaba hasta los pies^c y ceñido por el pecho con un cinto de oro^d. 14 Su cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como la blanca lana^a, como la nieve; sus ojos eran como llama de fuego^b; 15 sus pies semejantes al bronce bruñido^a cuando se le ha hecho refulgir en el horno, y su voz como el ruido de muchas aguas^b. 16 En su mano derecha tenía siete estrellas^a, y de su boca salía una aguda espada de dos filos^b; su rostro^c era como el sol cuando brilla con toda su fuerza^d. 17 Cuando le vi, caí como muerto a sus pies^a. Y Él puso su mano derecha sobre mí^b, diciendo: No temas^c, yo soy el primero y el último^d, 18 y el que vive^a, y estuve muerto^b; y he aquí, estoy vivo por los siglos de los siglos, y tengo las llaves de la muerte y del Hades^1c. 19 Escribe, pues^a, las cosas que has visto, y las que son^b, y las que han de suceder después deestas^c. 20 En cuanto al misterio^a de las siete estrellas^b que viste en mi mano derecha y de los siete candelabros de oro^c: las siete estrellas^d son los ángeles¹ de las siete iglesias^e, y los siete candelabros^f son las siete iglesias.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which ^aGod gave Him to ^bshow to His bond-servants, ^cthe things which must soon take place; and He sent and ¹communicated it ^dby His angel to His bond-servant ^eJohn, 2 who testified to ^athe word of God and to ^bthe testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. 3 ^aBlessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and ¹heed the things which are written in it; ^bfor the time is near.

4 ^aJohn to ^bthe seven churches that are in ^cAsia: ^dGrace to you and peace, from ^eHim who is and who was and who ¹is to come, and from ^fthe seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, ^athe faithful witness, the ^bfirstborn of the dead, and the ^cruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who ^dloves us and released us from our sins ¹by His blood— 6 and He has made us to be a ^akingdom, ^bpriests to ^1cHis God and Father—^dto Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 ^aBEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and ^bevery eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will ^cmourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

8 “I am ^athe Alpha and the Omega,” says the ^bLord God, “^cwho is and who was and who ¹is to come, the Almighty.”

9 ^aI, John, your ^bbrother and ^cfellow partaker in the tribulation and ^dkingdom and ^1eperseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos ^fbecause of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 I was ^1ain the Spirit on ^bthe Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice ^clike the sound of a trumpet, 11 saying, “^aWrite in a ¹book what you see, and send it to the ^bseven churches: to ^cEphesus and to ^dSmyrna and to ^ePergamum and to ^fThyatira and to ^gSardis and to ^hPhiladelphia and to ⁱLaodicea.”

12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw ^aseven golden lampstands; 13 and ^ain the middle of the lampstands I saw one ^blike ¹a son of man, ^cclothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and ^dgirded across His chest with a golden sash. 14 His head and His ^ahair were white like white wool, like snow; and ^bHis eyes were like a flame of fire. 15 His ^afeet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His ^bvoice was like the sound of many waters. 16 In His right hand He held ^aseven stars, and out of His mouth came a ^bsharp two-edged sword; and His ^cface was like ^dthe sun ¹shining in its strength.

17 When I saw Him, I ^afell at His feet like a dead man. And He ^bplaced His right hand on me, saying, “^cDo not be afraid; ^dI am the first and the last, 18 and the ^aliving One; and I ^1bwas dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have ^cthe keys of death and of Hades. 19 Therefore ^awrite ^bthe things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place ^cafter these things. 20 As for the ^amystery of the ^bseven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the ^cseven golden lampstands: the ^dseven stars are the angels of ^ethe seven churches, and the seven ^flampstands are the seven churches.
