El reino del Ungido del SEÑOR

¿Por qué se sublevan las naciones¹^a,y los pueblos traman cosas vanas^b?2 Se levantan los reyes de la tierra^a,y los gobernantes traman unidoscontra el SEÑOR^b y contra su Ungido¹^c, diciendo:3 ¡Rompamos sus cadenas¹^ay echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas!

4 Él que se sienta como Rey en los cielos se ríe^a,el Señor se burla de ellos^b.5 Luego les hablará en su ira^a,y en su furor los aterrará^b, diciendo:6 Pero yo mismo he consagrado¹ a mi Rey^asobre Sión, mi santo monte^b.

7 Ciertamente anunciaré el decreto del SEÑORque me dijo¹: «Mi Hijo eres tú,yo te he engendrado hoy^a.8 »Pídeme, y te daré^a las naciones¹ como herencia tuya^b,y como posesión tuya los confines de la tierra^c.9 »Tú los quebrantarás¹ con vara² de hierro^a;los desmenuzarás como vaso de alfarero^b».

10 Ahora pues, oh reyes, mostrad discernimiento^a;recibid amonestación, oh jueces¹ de la tierra.11 Adorad¹ al SEÑOR con reverencia²^a,y alegraos con temblor^b.12 Honrad¹ al Hijo^a para que no se enoje y perezcáis en el camino,pues puede inflamarse de repente su ira.¡Cuán bienaventurados son todos los que en Él se refugian^b!

The Reign of the LORD’S Anointed.

Why are ^athe ¹nations in an uproarAnd the peoples ^bdevising a vain thing?2 The ^akings of the earth take their standAnd the rulers take counsel together^bAgainst the LORD and against His ¹^cAnointed, saying,3 “Let us ^atear their fetters apartAnd cast away their cords from us!”

4 He who ¹sits in the heavens ^alaughs,The Lord ^bscoffs at them.5 Then He will speak to them in His ^aangerAnd ^bterrify them in His fury, saying,6 “But as for Me, I have ¹installed ^aMy KingUpon Zion, ^bMy holy mountain.”

7 “I will surely tell of the ¹decree of the LORD:He said to Me, ‘You are ^aMy Son,Today I have begotten You.8 ‘Ask of Me, and ^aI will surely give ^bthe ¹nations as Your inheritance,And the very ^cends of the earth as Your possession.9 ‘You shall ¹^abreak them with a ²rod of iron,You shall ^bshatter them like ³earthenware.’”

10 Now therefore, O kings, ^ashow discernment;Take warning, O ¹judges of the earth.11 ¹Worship the LORD with ²^areverenceAnd rejoice with ^btrembling.12 ¹Do homage to ^athe Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,For ^bHis wrath may ²soon be kindled.How blessed are all who ^ctake refuge in Him!
